Lil Uzi Vert Appears To Diss Lil Yachty On New Leaked Song

Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Yachty have a lot of career parallels, as they came up during a similar time back in the SoundCloud era and the popularization of the term “mumble rap.” But that doesn’t mean they’ve always seen eye to eye. Beef rumors have followed the two for years now, and a new leaked Uzi song means that they won’t die out for a while. On it, they seem to diss Yachty with the following lines: “N***as, they put my swag in they notes / I was on a yacht in the goddamn snow / B***h, I’m Lil Uzi, I’m not Lil Boat.”

Of course, this doesn’t necessarily have to be a shot, as it could just be a risky play on words unrelated to the first bar. Nevertheless, fans still raised their eyebrows at this, and it looks like neither artist has publicly responded to this at press time. You may recall that Lil Yachty previously downplayed rumors that he and Lil Uzi Vert had beef when a leak surfaced that had an apparent Uzi diss on it. “No matter how bad they want the collab, I ain’t friends with Uzi,” he allegedly spat.

Lil Uzi Vert’s New Leak Seemingly Dissing Lil Yachty

“[You] guys are delusional,” Lil Yachty responded online when this leak hit. “[You] n***as go around living your life acting like [you] know us. S**t is od weird, y’all be grown men too… On here tryna piece s**t together, don’t be knowin’ nothing. Get a job.” “I seen that. It surprised me,” he said a month earlier on his podcast of Lil Uzi Vert praising him in a recent interview. “I’ve never said a bad… I’ve never hated on Uzi ever. [Competition is] just hip-hop. That’s rap. Man, this s**t – you wouldn’t understand it, man. I don’t have a problem with [them], though.”

Meanwhile, this might be the praise Ak was talking about that Lil Uzi Vert had for Lil Yachty while talking to DJ Akademiks in the studio. “It’s definitely, like, you gotta understand,” they told the media personality. “How long has he been around? Yachty. That’s what I’m trying to tell you, and he still ain’t even go nowhere. He’s definitely a n***a that beat the washed allegations. He beat the s**t out of them. On his own ways. He beat it!” With all this in mind, it looks like this new leak is probably either a misconstrued shout-out or an old sentiment that doesn’t reflect their relationship anymore… But we could be wrong.

Marlon Wayans Believes Boosie Badazz Isn’t A “Monster” And That He’ll Make Amends With His Daughter

Marlon Wayans, who has a trans son, has come to Boosie Badazz’s defense after the controversial rapper rebuked his daughter for being gay. The comedian argued that he believes Boosie will eventually figure the situation out and make peace with his daughter. In doing so, he asked fans to give him time to grow as a person.

He wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “U can’t paint @BOOSIEOFFICIAL as a monster. That man is father that provides. I believe him, his daughter and God will figure this out. It took me. A second. Give their family grace and time. This is growing pain. She know her daddy loves her. That’s all that matters. He may come around he may not. But that’s on him and her.” When one user argued that Wayans would never have called his child out in public, he responded: “I wouldn’t have BUT I understand the disposition and I will hold space for @BOOSIEOFFICIAL and his family.”

As for Boosie’s controversial comments, he called out his daughter during an appearance on Yung Miami’s Caresha Please show. “I mean, she still can’t bring her situation to our house. My daughter is wrong. Well, why is she wrong? Because I don’t want it to contaminate her other six, seven sisters who look up to her,” he said. His daughter ended up firing back on social media, saying: “You suck, bruh. And I know you suck with that cause you’d rather go to the Internet and have a conversation with the Internet about your kids before you come to us and have that conversation.”

King Von’s sister, Kayla B, had explained why she texted Sexyy Red from Chief Keef’s phone, downplaying the situation in a video on social media. “I ain’t never been a pick-me. F*ck is you talking about?” Kayla began when asked about the situation by a fan. From there, she explained that she merely searched her own name in his phone to make sure he wasn’t dissing her behind her back. It was at that point, she claims, that she saw tons of texts with her name so she replied, “Kayla B here.”

When DJ Akademiks shared the remarks on Instagram, fans had mixed responses. One user wrote back: “You definitely a pick me sexy don’t even be talking bout keef like you do and he still got her posted on his insta at that.” Another remarked: “She capping you see the filter told on her.”

Kayla and Sexyy Red have been feuding over Chief Keef on social media for months at this point. Sexyy previously spoke about her relationship with the rapper during an episode of Thoughts In A Culli, last month. “It’s genuine, that’s my peoples. Dionne Warwick Reveals Why She Didn’t Enjoy Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us”

Dionne Warwick was seemingly tired of Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” while listening to the Drake diss for an interview with NPR for a segment titled “Nobody Asked for This (But I’m Gonna Tell You Anyhow),” in which she reviewed modern music. When the interview played the hit song, Warwick asked why the two rappers took their feud public in the first place. “This is the look of ‘why’?” she said. “I don’t think that this should be a public thing. So as far as I’m concerned, I’m not going to rate this one.”

It’s not the first time she’s abstained from commenting on the viral beef. Back in April, a fan on X (formerly Twitter) asked her about J. Cole’s involvement and for her to address the situation. “No. I will continue to mind my business,” she said in response.

Jussie Smollett Breaks Silence On Lee Daniels’ Viral Comments On Their Relationship

Jussie Smollett addressed Lee Daniels’ recent comments on their relationship, in which the Empire creator labeled it, “complicated,” during an appearance on The Breakfast Club. Speaking with TMZ in New York City on Friday in honor of the release of his new film, The Lost Holliday, Smollett explained that he is always going to be on good terms with Daniels despite their disagreements.

“I talk to Lee often. It’s something that– I love Lee very much, but here’s the thing, I don’t talk about it. Lee is somebody that I love,” Smollett said. “He gave me an opportunity that I’ll always be grateful for, but at the same time, it’s a relationship that’s really important to me, so I don’t feel the need to mediate that in the public.” He added: “Lee is also a little bit more of an open book, so he’ll say things, but I love him so much. And, he knows that. We’re always gonna be good.”

God bless him on his journey.” Despite that remark, he also said that he’d still be willing to work with Smollett again. “I’d cast him in something,” he clarified. “He was a son to me. And he also represented me. And he also represented the movement that I tried to start, which I didn’t know I was starting. I was so busy, worried about Cookie’s hat and the music that we were playing [on Empire], this was before Insecure, this was before Black Panther. We started it. I was so worried about getting everything right that I didn’t know what was happening in the zeitgeist.”

Shya L’Amour, who shares a child with Offset, came to the rapper’s defense on social media, this week, after YSL Mondo claimed that the Migos rapper confronted him over allegedly messaging Cardi B. L’Amour labeled the YSL co-founder a clout chaser while discussing the story. “Somebody please get that man some attention, some clout, whatever it is that he’s seeking,” she said.

From there, L’Amour instructed Mondo to get a job and remarked: “Put a b***h up in a warehouse somewhere, do something other than talk about who’s sleeping with who.” As caught by Baller Alert, she also reflected on her own personal history with Mondo and shot down his idea of being a “real one.” She added: “You think you’re the catch? Boy, you’re delusional. Perks got you delusional.”

Nicki Minaj reacted to Rihanna’s post about being a boy mom on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday night. Rihanna had shared a video of her and ASAP Rocky’s son, RZA, climbing out of his playpen with the caption: “Being a boy mom is an Olympic sport.” Nicki, who is also the mother to her own son, Papa Bear, related to the post.

“Chiiiiiiiiiiiiiii who are you TELLING???!!!!!!” Nicki replied. “I’ve literally had to learn 3 new sports!!! Help! Handsome self. Papa Bear flattened 3 playpens before we gave up on it. Rihanna welcomed her first son, RZA, back in 2022 while Nicki gave birth to Papa Bear in 2020. Rihanna also shared a second son with Rocky named Riot, who was born last year.
