A$AP Rocky is just a few weeks away from his comeback project DON’T BE DUMB. The Harlem, New Yorker’s fanbase is more than ready and they have been for quite some time. They do not need to be reminded that the last album he put out was in 2018 with TESTING. However, there are valid reasons for the consistent rescheduling of his fourth studio effort. Rocky and Rihanna have been steadily growing their nucleus and did so just last year. They welcomed their second child, baby boy Riot, giving RZA a younger brother. That happened to be one year ago today that Riot Rose was born, meaning today is his birthday!

Naturally, Rocky went straight to social media several hours ago to celebrate him turning one years old. “HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY TO MY 2ND BORN SON RIOT ROSE MAYERS ❤”, he captioned the post. The hitmaker shared an adorable photo/video dump via Instagram of all of their cutest memories together. Tons of rappers and music industry names were in the comments to help wish Riot Rose an amazing day.

The United States is doing great at the 2024 Olympics so far: As of this post, the US leads in overall medals and trails behind only China in gold medals. Superstar gymnast Simone Biles has contributed to the US medal count, and now she is the subject of a new Beyoncé-narrated video.

The spot, which offers a visual overview of Biles’ journey, is set to the Cowboy Carter song “Just For Fun” and also features narration from Beyoncé. She says, “Let’s talk about power. Because, really, that’s what this story’s about: Physical power. Its beauty, its wonder. The way it never stops amazing you. Then there’s spiritual power, the kind that really matters. The power you can’t see, only sense. The power you need in those moments when life goes a little sideways on you. And, of course, lasting power. Only a select few know what it feels like to get to the top and stay there. And, somehow, keep getting better.”

This comes days after Beyoncé starred in a Cowboy Carter-style hype video introducing the USA athletes, before the games officially kicked off. In the video, she gives props to some athletes specifically while also saying more generally, “Get a look at America, y’all. These hopes and dreams. These superstars that represent us, the people of this big, bold, beautiful, complicated nation, all rooting together for them.”

Ice Spice Is Shakin’ And Poppin’ On ‘Gyat,’ An Asset-Flaunting New ‘Y2K!’ Bonus Track

After becoming one of hip-hop’s biggest rising stars over the past couple years, Ice Spice released her debut album, Y2K!, last month. It turns out she had one more song in the queue, as she just unveiled “Gyat,” a new Y2K! bonus track.

For those not plugged in to what the kids are talking about these days, Urban Dictionary notes that “gyat” is an exclamation typically used in response to seeing a woman with a large behind.

Ice sets the tone on the first verse, rapping (as Genius notes), “I’m from the X, so I’m packin’ that jatt / Got out the hood and I ain’t going back / Built like a Barbie, but act like a brat / You know I’m the baddest, like, keep it a stack / If it ain’t ’bout money, I ain’t talkin’ ’bout that / I be poppin’, you b*tches be flat / I be shakin’, and he like, ‘Gyatt.’”

Meanwhile, Ice Spice just kicked off her Y2K! World Tour a few days ago, so don’t be surprised if “Gyat” gets added to the setlist for upcoming shows, since her setlist includes essentially every song she’s released so far in her young career.

Furthermore, she is in a heated battle for rookie of the year with Indiana Fever sensation, Caitlin Clark.

Reese has been experiencing quite a bit of fame a of late, and she has certainly taken full advantage. The star has been to quite a few music festivals and has also been seen with celebrities like G Herbo. Most recently, however, she found herself on stage at Lollapalooza. Meanwhile, all of the rumors and comments from Atlantic Records have suggested that the album is set to drop later this year.

Yesterday, Cardi B announced that she was pregnant. Furthermore, it was revealed that she was getting a divorce from Offset. This was all a lot for fans to take in. Not to mention, it had some questioning whether or not the album would come out. After all, her two life announcements are certainly a lot to handle all at once. Well, according to TMZ, sources close to the artist have confirmed that the album is, indeed, going to be released later this year.

An official release date has not been given. At this stage, we don’t even know what the album will be called. However, it is encouraging to hear that something will be coming out this year. Last night, the artist was on Vitaly’s Kick stream, where he helped the streamer take down an alleged child predator.

Vitaly has been doing many of these streams as of late and they have elicited quite a bit of controversy. Some people believe that these streams are staged and that the predators are not real. There has been a debate around all of this being exploitative, and purely for clout. Regardless, Akon was on stream last night, and in the clip below, you can see that he was singing “Locked Up” while a predator was being arrested by the police.

At this stage, it is unknown whether or not any of this was real. It all looked pretty ridiculous, and for many, this hardly brings awareness to the child predator problem.
