ODESZA And SNAPDRAGON Share A Behind The Scenes Video From Their Groundbreaking ECHOES Installation

It’s been two weeks since ODESZA teamed up with, SETUP, and SNAPDRAGON and completed the largest, most complex, and (above all things) emotional fan experience of the year. Now, we’re celebrating the team’s work by sharing a behind-the-scenes look at the dedication and ambition that brought ECHOES to life.

“We always wanted to build something more and give back to fans,” Harrison Mills told Uproxx.

“All of us want to push the boundaries, all the time,” Clayton Knight continued.

With this focus, ODESZA worked alongside SETUP and SNAPDRAGON to transform the ECHOES concept into a reality: a physical installation welcoming ODESZA fans to the final three shows of their The Last Goodbye tour at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, WA. What’s amazing is that the collaboration started just two months prior to the reveal at the Gorge. And one thing is now obvious: none of it could have been possible without the power and performance of the SNAPDRAGON X Elite processor.

Every detail relied on the power of SNAPDRAGON, from the visuals and echoing sonics in the installation, the editing of the film itself, to the direct power of ECHOES built on the rogue environment of the Gorge.

“We’ve always had a bigger vision and now technology has gotten to a place where we can execute on a lot of these ideas,” Knight said. “Now seeing the renders on the computer to this finally coming to life, it really makes you think that the impossible is possible.”

The fourth part of this four-part series, “The Making Of ECHOES” (above) is a celebration of this incredible feat of turning ECHOES from a creative storyboard to a reality on the grounds at the Gorge. From the fan moments of pure joy to the crew working through the night making sure every last detail was perfect, and ODESZA’s reaction to ECHOES just hours before the first of their finale shows, it’s a powerfully moving wrap-up to a monumental event.

Almighty Jay Reveals How He “Scammed” Atlantic Records Out Of $500K

Almighty Jay is an artist who may fans remember as a member of the YBN collection with both Nahmir and Cordae. Overall, the relationships between these three artists are fractured. Nahmir is doing his own thing while Cordae is a star in his own right. Meanwhile, it has been a long time since fans have heard from Almighty Jay. That said, the young artist was going viral over the weekend thanks to some comments he made about his former record deal.

As he explains in the clip below, he had a $500K recording budget with Atlantic Records. Essentially, that money would go towards studio time as opposed to the artist himself. However, Almighty Jay found away to take that $500K and run. He turned his home into a studio and registered it as an LLC. This was entirely unbeknownst to Atlantic Records, who gave him the money as soon as he told them that he had found a studio. It was a genius plan that ultimately allowed him to make a bag with as little effort as possible.

Yungeen Ace Swears To DJ Akademiks That He Won’t Diss Foolio

It seems like getting a solid read on Yungeen Ace’s relationship with the now late rapper Foolio will never happen. No matter what positivity he shows toward his counterpart, Chicago-born MC is always going to have some eyebrows raised. For example, just about a week ago, the now Jacksonville native hopped on an Instagram Live session with his followers in which people were asking him about Foolio. Ace pointed out sad and tragic his passing was, as well as how they were supposedly cooler with each other behind closed doors. This led fans to make numerous comparisons to how King Von was when FBG Duck was murdered. It’s worth mentioning that the alleged killer of Foolio was accusing Yungeen Ace as the one who put the hit on him.

However, he has not been charged in any capacity. But going back to the IG Live clip, DJ Akademiks reposted it to his account. Assumedly, Ace and the hip-hop sleuth had some conversations because a recent interview between them has just come out. Of course, Foolio was the main topic of discussion and during their chat. Throughout their sit-down, the “Ready To Die” MC continued to say more positive things about him.

Yungeen Ace Doesn’t Disrespect The Dead

In the clip above, Akademiks asks him if he’s going to continue to diss Foolio, to which he vowed, “No… can’t be doing that bout the dead”. Ace then went onto say how he used to listen to his music “back in the day” after Ak called him out for originally saying he didn’t. He even pointed out how Ace and Foolio used to be friends. But he shut that down, saying they weren’t really that tight, but that he did try to play some one-on-one basketball in Los Angeles. However, he claims Foolio turned down the offer. Overall, Ace was pretty all over the place, which seems to further highlight their checkered past.

What are your thoughts on Yungeen Ace telling DJ Akademiks he won’t be dissing Foolio after his passing? Do you trust him, why or why not? YG Helps Vitaly Catch A Predator In What Some Are Alleging Is A Scripted Scenario

YG is seemingly getting acquainted with YouTuber and Kick streamer Vitaly. Overall, fans might remember Vitaly from his fake pranks from back in the day. Although some people thought they were real, it became clear that Vitaly was paying actors to buy into the scenarios. However, that revenue stream dried up and now, Vitaly is a Kick streamer who does elaborate “pedo hunter” broadcasts. These streams are usually extremely chaotic and involve violence inflicted on the “predator.”

In the most recent stream, YG helped Vitaly. In the clip below, you can see one of these busts that allegedly used a 13-year-old decoy. YG was ready to fight the man in the video, and there also appeared to be SWAT officers on the scene. It was all chaotic and a good example of what Vitaly does on the platform these days. Interestingly enough, however, some believe Vitaly’s stream are staged, just like his pranks used to be.

YG x Vitaly

“Whole thing looks staged,” one person wrote. “This shit is fake bruh lmaooo,” said another. There is no concrete proof of this, however, it seems like things have changed dramatically ever since the stream in which an old man was knocked out cold on the street. Only time will tell if these allegations are ever proved to be based in reality. For now, however, Vitaly is making bank off of these streams and the salacious nature of them.

Let us know what you think about all of this, in the comments section down below. Do you believe that YG and Vitaly scripted this whole thing? Are you someone who enjoys watching this type of content on a regular basis? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. A$AP Rocky Reportedly Takes More Shots at Drake on His New Album

In the ever-evolving landscape of hip-hop rivalries, Drake and A$AP Rocky find themselves embroiled in a feud that shows no signs of slowing down. Despite Drake waving the white flag after Kendrick Lamar’s relentless assault, A$AP Rocky reportedly still has some shots left for him.

According to Hot97 DJ Kast One, Rocky hasn’t forgotten the swipes Drake took at him on “Push Ups,” his initial response to Kendrick’s declaration of war on “Like That.” Although the two rappers were at one point collaborators and appeared to be good friends, all that changed after A$AP Rocky began dating Rihanna — who Drake also formerly dated — and eventually had two kids with her. Drake seemingly lashed out at his old flame on his For All The Dogs song “Fear Of Heights,” after which, it seemed friendly feelings between him and Rocky went out the window.

Fans were sure Rocky aimed a line or two at Drake on Kid Cudi’s single “WOW” early this year, followed by another sneaky diss on Metro Boomin and Future’s We Still Don’t Trust You track “Show Of Hands.” If he continues to go in, the beleaguered Drake just might have to call in sick for the rest of the year.

“I heard A$AP Rocky definitely addressing a lot of the main topics that are happening out there right now,” Kast One told his fellow hosts. “Let’s just say the list keeps going on strong.” After being asked for clarification by Ebro Darden, who wondered if “Rocky is still on Drake’s list,” Kast One confirmed, “Oh, he’s gonna be cemented on the list after this.”
