Last week, BX drill rapper Key Glock was arrested on felony charges in Atlanta and the Glockoma rapper managed to capture the entire ordeal on live video.
On March 28, Key Glock, whose real name is Markeyvius Cathey, showed a live video of himself being arrested and placed in the back of a Atlanta Police squad car. The arresting officer informed Cathey that he would be only ticketed for marijuana possession, but that was only the beginning of his problems.
Guns were found in the vehicle, which led to an investigation, uncovering two open warrants for the Paper Route Empire rapper. Glock was was subsequently booked on two felony charges for the open warrants.
The traffic stop was originally initiated for a tinted window violation.
“Cathey was arrested on March 28th during a traffic stop at the location of 1960 Piedmont Rd NE regarding an out of jurisdiction arrest warrant and possession of marijuana,” a statement issued by the Atlanta Police read. “The report detailing the arrest is still in the process of completion at this time.”

Drake called attention to a doppelganger in the crowd at a recent stop on his It’s All A Blur – Big As The What? on Instagram after the show. To do so, he reposted another fan’s clip of the attendee with the caption: “I’m everywhere…” In the video, the fan simply watches the Toronto rapper as he performs near the stage.
The incident comes as Drake has been feuding with Kendrick Lamar following the rapper’s feature on Future and Metro Boomin’s chart-topping song, “Like That.” With his verse, Lamar dissed both Drake and J. Cole. Drake has yet to release a diss track back at the iconic rapper.

Drake did appear to respond to drama in a rant during a recent concert. “A lot of people asking me how I’m feeling… listen, the way I’m feeling is the same way I want you to walk out of here feeling tonight about your f***ing self,” Drake told the crowd at one of his shows. “Because you know how I’m feeling? I got my head up high, my back straight, I’m 10 f***ing toes down… and feeling like anywhere else I go… and I know no matter what, there’s not a n**** on this Earth that can ever f*** with me in my life. And that’s how I want y’all to walk out of here tonight… But, you know, you can get yourselves gassed up, riled up and move towards the future… Sometimes you’ve got to acknowledge the mistakes you’ve made in the past… right? So that’s what I want you all to do. Everybody in here.”
Elsewhere on social media, Drake also caught attention for trolling rappers who promote marijuana online. Check out that clip above and be on the lookout for further updates on Drake on HotNewHipHop.
Diddy celebrated Easter by sharing a picture of his 1-year-old daughter, Love, on Instagram, on Sunday. The post, which has the comments disabled, comes after Homeland Security agents raided his properties in Los Angeles and Miami as a part of an investigation into sex trafficking allegations. The music industry veteran is also facing several civil lawsuits related to accusations of misconduct.
“HAPPY EASTER from Baby Love,” Diddy captioned the series of pictures of his daughter. It marks the first time he has posted on the social media platform since the raids. His last post featured his other daughters and came two weeks ago.
Diddy’s attorney, Aaron Dyer, slammed Homeland Security’s decision to raid his client’s properties and labeled the move a “gross overuse of military-level force.” “Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated,” Dyer said in a statement. “Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.”
Page Six reports that Diddy was preparing for a family trip to the Bahamas with his children at the time of the raids. Diddy is also facing numerous lawsuits accusing him of sexual assault, rape, and more. He had denied all of the allegations against him. Be on the lookout for further updates on Diddy on HotNewHipHop.
