Snoop Dogg Recalled The Time He Passed Out When He Met His Favorite Movie Star
Snoop Dogg is one of the most famous people on the planet, but even he isn’t immune to getting star struck. During his appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show to talk about his new movie The Underdoggs, Snoop recounted the time he met one of his favorite film stars and fainting from the butterflies in his stomach.
“We was doing a movie, Bones,” he explained. “This is young Snoop. I’m young at the time. They tell me I got the role with Pam Grier.” At this point, he demonstrates his excitement with a dance. “Catch the flight from Frisco to Vancouver. So, when I get to Frisco I’m sitting down and Pam Grier walk up and just sit right next to me and started talking to me. My heart was beating fast, Jen. So, I’m like, ‘I hear what you’re saying, Pam. Give me a minute.’ I go to the bathroom and faint.”
He says he eventually recovered after some assistance. “I’m laying on the ground. My security come in. They like, ‘Get off this nasty floor, man. What is you doing?’ I’m like, I looked up I said: ‘Cuz, I just met Pam Grier.’” But it wasn’t all bad. Snoop says Grier gave him “information on how to be a better actor, a better person, and how to receive people like this who you are infatuated with. So, I thanked her for that and I believe I became a better actor after that. So, Pam, I love you for that. And I appreciate you.”
Bones is a 2001 supernatural horror film in which Snoop played the eponymous character, a numbers runner who is killed by rival criminals but comes back to life via mysterious means. Grier plays his lover Pearl, who attempts to lay his soul to rest. The film features numerous homages to Snoop’s favorite 1970s Blaxploitation films, many of which Grier starred in, sparking his initial infatuation.

That does appear to be the plan.
On Good Morning America today (January 30), Megan announced that she’s going on tour this summer, while also indicating that her next album will be released by the time she hits the road. She said, “Oh, we’re having the tour this year. The Hot Girl Summer tour is going to be 2024, summertime. I feel like I’ve never been able to be outside doing my own thing during the summer, since like 2019. So this is going to be the first time that I drop an album on time for the summer. I do want to give the hotties the Megan Thee Stallion experience.”

There’s no official word yet on what the album is called or when exactly its release date is. Still, it looks like we can expect the project to be unveiled at some point in the next few months or so.

Drake Chills Out On IG Amid Nicki Minaj & Megan Thee Stallion Shots
Even though Drake got a shot sent his way on the new song “HISS,” courtesy of Megan Thee Stallion, he seems pretty unbothered online. “If it wasn’t for you I would never know how much I can handle…I can’t stand you but also thank you,” he captioned two pictures of him walking around and drinking with a baggy gray suit. Perhaps the 6ix God subtly responded to Meg here, although his subliminals are usually much more apparent. Regardless, his silence on the matter has been very interesting to see, especially considering that her main target right now is his fellow Young Money superstar, Nicki Minaj.
Of course, after Nicki dropped “Big Foot” earlier this week as her response track, this became a one-on-one showdown… for now. As such, there’s really no reason for Drake to come in with reinforcements just yet, and we can’t say for sure whether he’ll ever need to. After all, sometimes rap beef only hits upon a couple of points brought up in these attacks to one another, and it’s rare for an artist to want to address everything. But he had a very busy 2023 with hiatus plans and a desire to just have some fun, so we can’t really express shock if he decides to jump ship.

Drake’s New Instagram Post Amid Nicki & Meg Drama
All this aside, Drake has animosity of his own to handle. Yasiin Bey recently clarified his thoughts on him making pop music, not hip-hop. “Drake, if you’d like to speak to me directly, you can at any point,” he expressed in a social media video. “I reached out to [Dave] Chappelle, actually reached out to you. I DM’d you. You are a very talented MC, but for me, I require more of myself and others than just talent or charm or charisma -– particularly in times of urgent crisis.
“And what I would like to see in terms of creators or creative people in the world, as it relates to our culture, is for people to connect with us beyond the jukebox or the dance floor,” the artist formerly known as Mos Def concluded. “A fair-weather friend can hardly be called a friend at all. Just over a week ago, we covered Buffalo’s own Che Noir and her lead single for her EP, The Color Chocolate, Vol. 1. Kai Cenat & 21 Savage Stream: Celina Powell Posts BTS Video As Men Entertain Viewers
Since Kai Cenat’s streaming career began, he’s been creating content with several of our favourite rappers. Last year, he and Offset broke the internet with their hilarious sleepover antics. Now, the young creator brought 21 Savage on his internet show following the release of american dream, and neither party left us disappointed. As always, Cenat’s energy was high as he and the “a lot” hitmaker entertained viewers while playing games and telling stories.
At one point, Travis Scott called in to place a hefty bet on Savage beating his co-host. When the Atlanta-based recording artist did come out on top, Cenat destroyed his streaming setup out of sheer frustration from losing Madden and $300K. Of course, not everything happening at the streamer’s house was on camera. We now know that Celina Powell was hanging out behind the scenes with Kai and Savage.

Earlier this week, the controversial influencer posted a clip on her Instagram Story, recording the two men in front of their computer set-up. She didn’t write anything on the brief clip, which is now making rounds on Hollywood Unlocked, besides two small white heart emojis. It’s unclear whether she was hanging out with Cenat or Savage, but because of the latter’s rumoured lowkey relationship with Latto, some are speculating she could be the former’s date.
Celina Powell might manage to entice many of the men of hip-hop into taking a spin with her, but most of them seem to regret it in the long run. Most recently, it was embattled artist Trey Songz who was feeling the heat after Powell accused him of attempting to kidnap her. Fans Realize Kanye West Snatched Phone Of TMZ Reporter Who Ran With ASAP Rocky
Fans on social media have realized that Kanye West snatched the cellphone of the TMZ reporter who went on a jog with ASAP Rocky, last year. When the publication initially shared video from the incident, it was from the reporter’s camera, but as more clips of the rapper’s tirade have circulated on social media, it’s clear they’re the same viral photographer.
West grabbed the camera person’s phone when they asked about reports of him “controlling” Bianca Censori. “Don’t come after me with your dumbass sh*t,” West can be heard saying. “I’m a person bro. You’re recording. Don’t come ask me that dumbass sh*t. I’m a person.” He continued: “You wasn’t asking me sh*t when I couldn’t see my kids and now only have visitation and don’t have rights to where they go to school? You got questions for that, or are you part of the system?” When the photographer asks for their phone back, West initially refuses but goes on to offer them a job paying double what they make at TMZ.

ASAP Rocky ran into the same reporter back in 2023 while going on a run in West Hollywood. Despite the questioning, Rocky continued to jog and the reporter did their best to keep up with him. At the end of the run, Rocky offered to grab them lunch after hearing they threw up.

Chris Brown Says “Free Tory Lanez” On Adin Ross Stream After Fivio Foreign Got Cooked For It
Tory Lanez is still a hot topic in the hip-hop universe, and his time in prison hasn’t lessened interest or scrutiny in his legal case. If you live under a rock, he is currently behind bars after being convicted of shooting Megan Thee Stallion. Moreover, one of his most staunch supporters is streamer Adin Ross, with whom he shares a personal friendship and with whom he’s streamed with in the past. Ross’ most recent music industry invitee, Chris Brown, chopped it up with him live, and they eventually got around to discussing the social media creator’s tendency of having rappers do freestyles.
Out of these examples, and if you’ve been paying attention, Tory Lanez was among the best of those, and certainly the most popular. “Tory had the cr*ziest one, bro. Cr*zy, bro,” Adin Ross responded to Chris Brown shouting out the Canadian artist’s off-the-dome skills. “He went cr*zy, free my boy, man.” “Free Tory in the f***ing chat, bro. Free Tory. He’s real as f**k,” Ross went on. “He literally called me randomly on my birthday and just said ‘Happy birthday, bro. I couldn’t forget.’ I was like, wow.” “That’s fire, though,” Breezy replied. “But that’s like two percent of artists right now. He a solid dude, I f**k with Tory.”

Furthermore, this follows another recent rap endorsement of Tory Lanez that backfired, for some people at least. Fivio Foreign proclaimed “Free Tory” as a reaction to Nicki Minaj’s new Megan Thee Stallion diss track, “Big Foot.” Hotties everywhere responded in kind, clowning his support by challenging him to actually prove it with more than just words. What they seem to imply is that the drill artist is just trying to use this as stepping stones, and won’t actually stand on business. Whether that’s actually a valid critique or perspective is up to your opinion.
Meawhile, even though Chris Brown likes Tory Lanez, he doesn’t have the same love for other MCs.
