Young Thug’s ‘Business Is Business’ Tracklist Features Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, Future, And 21 Savage

Young Thug is set to release his project Business Is Business tonight, but its release is through unfortunate circumstances for the rapper. For a little over a year now, the rapper has been locked up on racketeering and conspiracy charges connected to his YSL collective, which prosecutors believe is a gang organization. As a result, Thug’s musical releases since then have been limited to features alongside names like Metro Boomin, Yeat, Rae Sremmurd, and others. Now, all of that is going to change with the release of Business Is Business.

The project was first announced with a countdown timer that Young Thug, Metro Boomin, and others posted on their social media pages. Hours before the timer finished, Thug and Metro, as well as Drake, shared the artwork for Business Is Business, and now we have the tracklist. Business Is Business arrives with 15 songs and features from Drake, Future, Travis Scott, Yak Gotti, 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, Bslime, Lil Got It, and Nate Ruess.

You can check out the Business Is Business tracklist below.

Young Thug And Drake Hinted At A Collab, And Thug Assured Drake He ‘Will Be Paid’

We are just hours away from new Young Thug music. At midnight (June 23), Thug will drop Business Is Business. He made the announcement earlier today (from jail) via Instagram, which was met with support from producer and longtime collaborator, Metro Boomin’.

“BUSINESS IS BUSINESS AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE TONIGHT!! … FREE TWIN. I LOVE YOU,” said Metro in a post.

Since the announcement, fans have been abuzz, making predictions about what to expect from the album. But over the past few eras, Thug and some of his potential collaborators have been dropping hints.

Drake commented on Thug’s post, which has led fans to believe that there may be a Drizzy-Thugger collab on the album.

“You owe me this time…midnight,” said Drake.

Thug (or likely, someone on his social media team) responded to the comment, ensuring that Drake will receive his dues.

“U will be paid,” said Thug.

The album arrives a week after Gunna dropped his first post-prison release, The Gift & A Curse. Because of this, fans are also wondering if Thug will address Gunna’s plea deal and snitching rumors.

Young Thug’s ‘Business Is Business’ Artwork Pictures Him In Court For His Upcoming Release

As of today, it’s been about two years since Young Thug released a project with that being his fall 2021 effort Punk. Since then, we’ve heard him on albums from the likes of Metro Boomin, Gunna, Future, Lil Baby, Yeat, and others, but outside of that, Thug’s career has been stunted by his spring 2022 arrest. He, along with other members of his YSL collective, were arrested on racketeering and conspiracy charges. Now, for the first time since that arrest, it appears that the music world will get a new body of work from Young Thug.

The rumored project appears to be titled Business Is Business thanks to posts on Young Thug’s social media pages. The project was first announced last week with a countdown, and with just a few hours left on it, we now have the artwork for Business Is Business. Posted by Thug, Metro Boomin, and Drake, the artwork depicts Young Thug seated in a chair with his body turned to face the camera. Beside him on each side are four men who are facing frontward.

Metro Boomin and Drake also shared the Business Is Business artwork with Metro writing, “BUSINESS IS BUSINESS AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE TONIGHT!! YOU CAN’T STOP WHAT GOD HAS PLANNED!! #FREETWIN I LOVE YOU BRO.” Drake wrote on Instagram, “you owe me this time… midnight @thuggerthugger1.” Young Thug’s Instagram page replied to Drake’s post, writing, “U will be paid.”

Jess Hilarious Calls Lil Meech Musty, He Exposes Her “Thirsty” DMs

Jess Hilarious recently weighed in on ongoing drama surrounding Lil Meech’s cheating allegations. The comedian claimed to believe that his girlfriend, Summer Walker, was “doing too much” by sharing the alleged other woman’s DMs on social media. “He cheatin’ on you,” she says. She further advises Lil Meech to “keep cheating” on Walker, claiming that fans will get better music from the artist that way. She went on to call Lil Meech “smelly,” and he clearly felt that it was a step too far.

How I stink but this unstable creature @jesshilarious_official in my DMs trying to get chose?” Lil Meech commented. “I see why U mad now,” he said, adding laughing emojis. “This is a crazy world we live in.” He went on to say he guesses Jess Hilarious “likes smelly n****s.” Summer Walker also chimed into the madness, calling the situation sad. “Thirsty a*s girl must have caught amnesia,” she wrote, “worried about my DMs & forgot about these.

Jess Hilarious Disses Lil Meech

Lil Meech also took to Instagram to share screenshots of DMs sent to him by Jess Hilarious. “I’m so proud of you!!” her first message sent in December of 2021 reads, “You were made for this sh*t and to do so much more after this.” The flattering DM was followed by one where she asks Lil Meech if he’s “still in Baltimore.” It appears as though Jess Hilarious has switched up, and the couple is not having it.

Jess Hilarious received some backlash again recently, after appearing to defend Russell Simmons amid his abuse allegations. His ex-wife Kimora Lee Simmons and daughter Aoki recently accused him of threatening their lives and being emotionally abusive. “Every story got three sides,” the comedian weighed in. She went on to accuse Simmons’ family members of trying to “destroy” him, also claiming that his daughter was being “disrespectful” for coming forward.

NLE Choppa Shoots Music Video At The Zoo

NLE Choppa recently had what looked like an enjoyable trip to the zoo. While he was there, he even took the opportunity to shoot a quick music video. He did so with the assistance of a popular videographer, Will Freeark. The videographer, who is also known as SetWillFree, approached NLE Choppa on Saturday. He offered to shoot a music video for the Memphis rapper free of charge. Freeark has gained viral fame for his spontaneous-style video shoots. He has even previously worked with artists like Moneybagg Yo, Toosii, and Bobby Shmurda.

Although NLE Choppa initially seemed hesitant, he eventually agreed to the video. With that, the duo embarked the shoot a video for “Stomp Em Out” on the streets of New York City. It looks like it was an extremely fun shoot. The project involved interactions with locals and a carriage ride. In one scene, the rapper holds someone’s baby and dances with it while he smiles at the camera. It all culminated in a scene shot at the Central Park Zoo, where NLE Choppa dances around and raps in front of seals. The amusing video was later uploaded to Freeark’s official YouTube channel.

NLE Choppa’s Venture Into Sports

Filming spontaneous videos is not the only new thing on NLE Choppa’s plate. it appears that he has joined the ranks of celebrities stepping into the boxing ring. He was spotted in the gym throwing punches at professional boxer Lorenzo “Truck” Simpson. However, after three unsuccessful attempts, Choppa lost his balance. As such, he started running as Truck chased him around the ring. While Choppa has proven his skills in the studio, he has a long way to go in the boxing ring. The video of the boxing incident went viral. This prompted NLE Choppa to share it on his Instagram story and tag Simpson with a humorous caption. Simpson, in turn, shared Choppa’s story on his own profile.

It remains uncertain how far Choppa intends to pursue his boxing aspirations. Still, he clearly has much room for improvement. Unfortunately, luck hasn’t been on Choppa’s side in other sports either. Just two days after opening a basketball court in his hometown, the court burned down. It had been donated by Choppa, former WNBA player Nancy Lieberman, and members of the Memphis city council, as reported by local outlet WREG. What do you think of NLE Choppa’s new video?
