4Hunnid Records’ first lady isn’t here for the romantic games played in today’s dating field. The “Bailar” rapper refuses to let her love be mishandled. In her single, “Teach U How To Play,” she holds nothing back as she lets potential prospects know that if they think they have one up on her, they are sadly mistaken.
Sulan stopped by our studios to share her top five gems when it comes to modern dating for those playing the field. With these tips, the musician is gifting hopeless romantics with a step-by-step guide on winning at love.
Some of the most intriguing tips included being emotionless. Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low “Olive” Hit With Release Delay
Travis Scott has become one of the biggest artists in the world. Additionally, he has branched out into various other forms of media. Overall, he is huge in the fashion world, especially as it pertains to sneakers. He has come through with some truly special collaborations with the likes of Jordan Brand, and it doesn’t seem like that will change, anytime soon. The two are still prepared to drop new offerings, and there are even rumors that he will drop an Air Jordan 7. For now, however, he still seems fairly excited by the Air Jordan 1 Low.
Throughout the last few years, he has come through with a ton of Air Jordan 1 Low colorways. While some might find these to be fairly redundant, others have loved what he’s brought to this silhouette. Consequently, fans can expect his next Jordan 1 Low to be a huge success. Below, you can see that this is the highly-anticipated “Olive” scheme.
Travis Scott x AJ1 Low “Olive”
If you have followed Travis Scott and his sneaker journey, you know that he has used “Olive” a lot. This is especially true when it comes to the Air Jordan 6. However, this Air Jordan 1 Low takes a different approach. Firstly, the shoe has a black base. The black is placed on the toe box, side panels, and even the tongue. Furthermore, we get some white leather overlays all the way throughout. Finally, there is olive on the backward swoosh that comes on the side. Overall, it is a dope look that plays into the neutral tone trend.
As for the release date, it was originally believed that these would come out in February or March. However, it is now being reported by Sole Collector that these are going to get an April 26th release. This means you can expect these in the heat of the Spring. Let us know what you think of them, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sneaker world.

Doja Cat Says Her Next Album Will Be More “Masculine”
Doja Cat says that she’s going “in a more masculine direction” with her next album. The Planet Her rapper discussed the highly-anticipated project during a new interview with Variety published on Wednesday. While she’s been known for her pop sounds in the past, Doja says she’s been experimenting with punk.
“I know that I’ve done a lot of pink and soft things, a lot of pop and glittery sounds,” Doja said. “But for this next era, I’m going in a more masculine direction.”
“I feel like we have enough pop-punk artists right now,” she continued. “And if there needs to be more, then let there be more, but I don’t think I’m the one to do it. I want to explore more of a raw, unfiltered, hardcore punk sort of thing. It’s just something that I’m doing for my own personal fun — getting some drummers and guitarists together. And I don’t even know if that’s gonna make it out there.”
The Variety piece isn’t the first time Doja has discussed going in a new direction with her fourth studio album. Back in November, she told Dazed that her current inspirations are Machine Girl, Deli Girls, Orbital, and Death Grips, as well as the Beastie Boys. Going back further, Doja cited “rave culture” as a major influence on the new music during an interview with CR Fashion Book in September.
While she’s experimented with blending a variety of styles in the past, including pop, rap, and R&B, she says that she would keep punk more isolated from other sounds. She explained to Variety: “It does not mesh! I’m gonna see if maybe it could be fun, but it doesn’t make any sense to me.” She’s yet to confirm a release date for the project. Check out Doja Cat’s cover story for Variety below and be on the lookout for more details regarding her next album in the coming months.

T.I. Says Young Thug “Expresses Gratitude” More Than His Own Artists
The “Free Thug” movement hasn’t ceased since Young Thug was arrested with dozens of others on RICO charges. The hitmaker has remained incarcerated as eight others have accepted plea deals, including Gunna. Thugger and 13 other co-defendants hope for freedom after fighting their case in court. On the outside, the rapper’s celebrity peers have continued to rally for his release. While on Drink Champs, longtime friend T.I. advocated for Young Thug.
“He kinda consider—he like, ‘Yo bro, you were the first major artist to rock with me, to believe in me,’” said T.I. “That was a major look for him. At least, according to him. And, you know, he just always express his gratitude and that’s more than I received from a lot of my own artists that’s on my label that I had a hand in they career, for real.”

“And, he just…he a real good dude, bro. I don’t think—everything that’s goin’ around, I think it’s a test,” T.I. further said. “It’s a test, and it’s gon’ become his testimony. All he gotta do is continue to stand tall and stay solid, and I believe God gon’ work everything out.”
T.I. shared similar sentiments about Young Thug during his recent appearance on Club Shay Shay. The Rap mogul spoke kindly about Thug to Shannon Sharpe, even revealing that he passed on giving the rapper and 21 Savage money in the early stages of their careers. According to T.I., it wouldn’t have benefited them the way they believed, but now, both artists expressed gratitude for giving them wisdom instead of shelling out money.
“Because if I give you a million, I gotta take back some that’s gon’ be way more, and we ain’t gon’ be able to be friends no more,” he said at the time. “And I always tell them, don’t worry about the money up front ’cause it gon’ come. I remember telling that to Slime, I remember telling that to 21. And even Savage, anytime he see me now, ‘Hey, it came.’” Check out the clip of T.I. on Drink Champs above and stay tuned as the full episode drops later this week.
The ASALH Set 2023 Black History Month Theme as ‘Black Resistance’
Throughout Black history, Black people have fought back against constant oppression. Those moments include acts of police brutality, most evident recently by the killing of Tyre Nichols at the hands of the Memphis Police department.
Five Memphis police officers have been fired and charged with the murder of Nichols. Nichols was pulled over by officers on Jan. 7 and died shortly after the encounter.
The fired officers are Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Emmitt Martin III, Desmond Mills Jr., and Justin Smith. They are all in Shelby County Jail for participating in the incident leading to Nichols’ death, charged with a variety of crimes ranging from official misconduct to second-degree murder.
The incident occurred ahead of and continues into Black History Month 2023, eliciting statements from civil rights figures the likes of civil rights attorney Ben Crump, who is representing the families, and African American Mayors Association.
With another case of police brutality facing our community, reacting with the desire to enact change, the Association for the Study of African American life and History has announced the theme for this 2023 Black History Month.
Below is an excerpt from the ASALH below on the theme, Black Resistance.
African Americans have resisted historic and ongoing oppression, in all forms, especially the racial terrorism of lynching, racial pogroms, and police killings since our arrival upon these shores. These efforts have been to advocate for a dignified self-determined life in a just democratic society in the United States and beyond the United States political jurisdiction. The 1950s and 1970s in the United States was defined by actions such as sit-ins, boycotts, walk outs, strikes by Black people and white allies in the fight for justice against discrimination in all sectors of society from employment to education to housing. Black people have had to consistently push the United States to live up to its ideals of freedom, liberty, and justice for all. Systematic oppression has sought to negate much of the dreams of our griots, like Langston Hughes and Zora Neale Hurston, and our freedom fighters, like the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Septima Clark, and Fannie Lou Hamer fought to realize. Black people have sought ways to nurture and protect Black lives, and for autonomy of their physical and intellectual bodies through armed resistance, voluntary emigration, nonviolence, education, literature, sports, media, and legislation/politics. Black led institutions and affiliations have lobbied, litigated, legislated, protested, and achieved success.
In an effort to live, and maintain and protect economic success Black people have organized/planned violent insurrections against those who enslaved them, such as in Haiti,, and armed themselves against murderous white mobs as seen in Memphis, TN (1892), Rosewood, FL (1923), and New Orleans, LA (1900). Additionally, some Black people thought that the best way to resist was to self-liberate as seen by the actions those who left the plantation system, of Henry Adams and Benjamin “Pap” Singleton, when they led a mass exodus westward in 1879 and Bishop Henry McNeal Turner of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, who organized emigration to Liberia.
Black faith institutions were spaces where Black communities met to organize resistance efforts, inspired folk to participate in the movements, and offered sanctuary during times of crisis. To promote awareness of the myriad of issues and activities media outlets were developed including radio shows, podcasts, newspapers (i.e. Chicago Defender, Chicago Bee, the Afro, The California Eagle, Omaha Star, the Crisis, etc.). Ida B. Wells used publications to contest the scourge of lynching. These outlets were pivotal in sharing the successes and challenges of resistance movements.
