“Call Of Duty” Secures New Deal With Nintendo

Call Of Duty is one of the most popular video game franchises in the entire world. Throughout the years, this game has sold millions of copies. Overall, it is one of those titles that get a brand-new game, every single year. Although some fans are sick of these games, it is clear that most people like picking up the latest title. After all, Call Of Duty is a great way to stay connected with your friends through gaming. Those late-night COD sessions have always been amazing, regardless of the quality of the game itself.

Over the years, Activision has had a deal in place with Microsoft to make it so that the Xbox gets certain COD perks first. However, this has ultimately hurt fans of other consoles. This is especially true for those who have the Nintendo Switch. The Switch has gotten COD games on occasion, however, they game usually gets released months later. Moreover, fans don’t get all of the same DLCs and content packs. Now, though, that looks to be changing as Microsoft and Nintendo have entered a new agreement.

“Call Of Duty” x Nintendo

Brad Smith, the vice chair and president of Microsoft revealed on Tuesday that Nintendo has entered a 10-year deal with Microsoft. This deal makes it so that all future Call Of Duty games will be released on the Switch at the exact same time as the Xbox. Additionally, gamers will be able to every single content pack that Activision and its developers have to offer. Overall, this is a massive win for Nintendo gamers who are oftentimes forgotten about. Over the years, the console has been seen as a vessel for family-friendly games, which leaves little room for first-person shooters.

Hopefully, this deal works out for everyone. Ten years is most definitely a long time, however, Call Of Duty is one of those franchises that will never go away. Activision has covered a lot of ground with this franchise, so we are curious to see where they go next. Let us know what you think of the latest COD games, down in the comments below. Ice Spice has cracked the Billboard Global 200’s top 10 for the first time with her PinkPantheress collaboration, “Boy’s a Liar, Pt. 2.” For this week’s rankings, the track jumped from No. 15 to No. 4. The remix to PinkPantheress’ hit released on February 3. Fans streamed the song 60.1 million times from February 10-16. PinkPantheress released the original version of the track back in November. For Billboard charting purposes, both songs factor into one listing.

Ice Spice first found mainstream success with the popularity of her 2022 hit single, “Munch (Feelin’ U).” The track quickly took off after its release in August and led to the Bronx rapper getting a cosign from Drake. Ice Spice dropped her debut EP, Like..?, on January 20, 2023 through 10K Projects and Capitol Records. She did minimal promotion for the project, having only announced it hours prior.

Trevor Ariza has surrendered four guns to the Los Angeles Police Department as part of a restraining order laid against him by his estranged wife.

Radar Online notes Ariza turned over 2 Glocks and 2 AR-15s, which will be held on until the matter of the restraining order is resolved.

Ariza’s estranged wife, Bree, stated the ball player has been abusive during their marriage and is looking to secure safety while filing for divorce. She states Ariza “engaged in acts of extreme physical abuse towards” her.

“He was verbally and emotionally abusive to me. Some of the abuse occurred in the presence of our children,” Bree wrote. “I have been financially dependent on Trevor throughout our marriage.”

During their divorce proceedings, Bree stated Ariza would show up unannounced and let himself in. Bree also stated in August 2021, Ariza choked her until he almost passed out and punched her multiple times.

Bree requested a temporary restraining order, and the judge approved her request, preventing Ariza from approaching within 100 yards. The court scheduled a hearing for March 8 to decide whether to grant a permanent restraining order.

Iggy Azalea Says She Left Playboi Carti to Not Expose Her Son to Their Bad Relationship

Iggy Azalea Says She Left Playboi Carti to Not Expose Her Son to Their Bad Relationship

Iggy Azalea is opening up about her relationship with Playboi Carti, citing their arrangement as “volatile” and reminding her of her parents.

Speaking on the High Low with EmRata podcast, Azalea stated she didn’t want her son to be exposed to the dynamics of the relationship.

“I didn’t think I was going to be leaving when I left. My father and my mother had such a volatile relationship that I wish I had seen less of it. And so that was what happened to me in that moment that I had on that day. I was like, I will never let my son see this because I don’t want him to see someone talk to me this way too but because I don’t want him to ever learn this, I don’t want him to be exposed to this.”

Playboi Carti was recently arrested in Georgia for choking his pregnant girlfriend. According to TMZ, the encounter happened due to an argument over a paternity test.

Carti’s girlfriend told police the rapper grabbed her by the throat and pushed her, nearly to where she couldn’t breathe. She added that “she thought she was going to die.”

Carti and the woman have been in a relationship for two years and have lived together since July 2022. The choking incident occurred on Dec. 20, when the woman was 14 weeks pregnant at the time. The woman stated the initial altercation was stopped by a witness, and she fled to her car. Carti would eventually catch up to her and attack her again.

Carti allegedly placed his hand over her mouth and pulled her from the car. The woman was able to enable the SOS feature of her car. When police arrived they were able to see injuries to her neck, chest, and back.

Cardi was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault.

In a statement to TMZ, Carti’s attorney, Brian Steel, blasts the claims. “Mr. Carter was falsely accused. Pursuant to my communications with the Fulton County District Attorney‘s office, this case will be dismissed without any prosecution or litigation.”

#BHM Happy Born Day To The Man Named Allah! 7 Facts That You May Not Know About The Founder Of The 5% Nation

Screen Shot 2023 02 22 at 9.02.30 AM

Many people may have heard of the “Five Percenters” or the teachings that stem from this cultural phenomenon born in the ghettos of America, but there are very few who are familiar with the origins of the 5% Nation (also known as the Nation Of Gods and Earths) or that of the founder of the Five Percent, who is best known as Allah. Artists and athletes such as Jay-Z and Carmelo Anthony have shown either their allegiance or alliance to Allah’s 56-year-old Nation. Of all of the religious and nationalist movements of the revolutionary 1960s, his story is always left out of Black History Month recognition, even though Allah met the same treacherous fate as many of the Black leaders of that era.

Born on this date in 1928, the man known as Allah was born Clarence Edward Smith to Louis and Mary Smith in Danville, Virginia. He moved to Harlem, New York as a young adult and it was from there that he began his lifelong journey in establishing a legacy of pride, righteousness, and all-inclusivity among the youth that has expanded all over the globe.

In commemoration of Black History Month, TheSource.com brings you seven facts about Allah and what his 5% Nation has brought to the Black, Latino, Asian and white youth in the United States and around the world.

  1. Allah fought in the Korean War; won several medals including the Silver Star and Purple Heart.
  2. He was a member of Nation Of Islam’s Temple No. 7 under Minister Malcolm X, however, left the NOI in 1963 shortly before Malcolm’s departure.
  3. Allah was given the “Street Academy” at 2122 7th Avenue(now known as Allah School In Mecca) by NYC Mayor John Lindsay in 1967.
  4. Allah was proficient at martial arts, which he learned in Korea and was an instructor to the members of NOI security, Fruit Of Islam.
  5. Allah was not anti-white and taught white 5%ers, including Mayor Lindsay’s assistant Barry Gotterher.
  6. Allah was killed by unknown assailants on June 13, 1969, however, it was revealed in a document declassified by the FBI in 1981 that he was a target of J.Edgar Hoover’s COINTELPRO initiative aimed at Black leaders.
  7. The message of the 5% is not a thing of Hip Hop’s past. Artists such as NYC’s Fame Labs, Detroit’s(D-Mecca) Njeri Earth and Allah Magnetic aka Mullah Don who carries on Allah’s tradition through their music.

Donald Trump Pays Own Legal Fees With $10 Million In Donor Money

Former President Donald Trump is under fire yet again for meddling with political donations. According to The New York Times, the 45th Commander-in-Chief has been paying personal lawyers with funds from his Save America political action committee. The Times acquired this information through Federal Election Committee filings. Factoring in capital from both 2021 and 2022, the numbers reach $16 million collectively. This totals up to 20% of Save America’s expenditures spent outside of other candidates.

Now that Trump has decided to run for the 2024 election, campaign finance experts suggest a cap be put in place. This would deter Donald Trump from using Save America’s donations for his own financial woes while running for office. This type of advice hasn’t stopped the MAGA forerunner before, however. In fact, former Manhattan prosecutor Mark Pomerantz plans to unveil a majority of Trump’s political crimes in an upcoming book.

Donald Trump’s Woes Continue

Former U.S. President Donald Trump delivers remarks with South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster (L) at the South Carolina State House on January 28, 2023 in Columbia, South Carolina. Trump’s visit to South Carolina marks his first visit to the state since announcing his intention to seek the presidency for a second term in 2024. (Photo by Win McNamee/Getty Images)

Pomerantz, also a veteran defense lawyer, submitted his resignation letter in February 2022. Prior to this, the author was gearing up to go forward with a RICO case against Trump. Though his team failed to go through with it, Donald Trump may not get off completely scot-free. Currently, the former reality star has evidence against him via a probe through Alvin Bragg, Manhattan’s latest District Attorney. There’s an investigation into alleged hush money given to Stormy Daniels for her reported affair with Trump some years ago.

This is all far from the end of Donald’s Trump legal battles. Recently, the politician was ordered to pay taxes after evading “local, state and federal taxes over more than a decade.” Though his team plans to appeal, Trump was ordered to pay $1.6 million in the fraud case. This number is viewed as a cakewalk for him, considering. “That’s equivalent to about $25 to Donald Trump. He probably spends more at Mcdonald’s,” political commentator Scottie Hughes states. If that’s not enough, Trump is also facing a lawsuit stemming from the 2021 Capitol riots. This comes after former police officer Brian Sicknick died one day later, suffering two strokes before he passed.
