Beyoncé is just hours away from officially releasing her forthcoming project, Renaissance, though it did leak a few days in advance. As more information on the project circulates, Bey revealed some of the samples she used on the project, including Kellis’s 1999 hit record, “Get Along With You.” Unfortunately, it seems like Beyoncé didn’t get Kelis’s approval before using the sample.

Kelis’ fan page celebrated the singer’s inclusion on Beyoncé’s album but in the comment section, the “Milkshake” singer appeared to express her frustrations from her chef account. Kelis claimed that Beyoncé and The Neptunes, who produced the song, did not involve her in any discussion surrounding the use of the sample.

“My mind is blown too because the level of disrespect and utter ignorance of all 3 parties involved is astounding. I heard about this the same way everyone else did. Nothing is ever as it seems, some of the people in this business have no soul or integrity and they have everyone fooled,” she wrote.

Fans were stunned by her claims but Kelis has made her issues with the music industry quite clear. In 2020, she revealed that Pharrell and Chad Hugo never paid her the albums they produced for her. Prior to that, she expressed shock over her rare album Wanderland appearing on streaming services.

Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian made headlines when she announced that she was pregnant for the second time with her ex-husband and current member of the Chicago Bulls Tristian Thompson, this time via surrogacy. Now one of Kardashian’s former spouses, former Los Angeles Laker Lamar Odom, has come forward with a cheeky response to his ex’s second child.

“She could have hollered at me for that,” the 42-year-old former Sixth Man of the Year said, PageSix reports. Odom won two championships with Kobe Bryant and the Lakers in the 2000s, before retiring in 2014 after 14 seasons in the NBA.

Odom and Kardashian were married in 2009 and were together for four years before reports of substance abuse and infidelity started to come forward. After Odom was arrested for drunk driving in December 2013, Kardashian filed for divorce. Two years later, with divorce papers still unsigned, Odom was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel after a near-fatal overdose.

Thompson and Kardashian started dating after Khole’s split from Odom. Thompson, who won a championship with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016, eventually had a daughter, True Thompson, with Kardashian in 2018. The pair have been on and off again since, due to Thompson’s extensive history of cheating. While the pair are apart, they still chose to have a second child together via surrogacy.

Thompson has bounced around the league in recent years after parting ways with the Cavs in 2020. He played stints in Boston and Sacramento before being moved on to the Indiana Pacers. He was traded to the Bulls at the end of the 2022 season, where he signed a one-year $1 million deal.

Movie and television star actress Tichina Arnold, known for her roles in Martin, Everybody Hates Chris, and Survivor’s Remorse, has finally divorced her husband, Toronto Raptors assistant coach DaRico Hines, after a brutal process that started back in 2016.

Arnold first announced her intent to divorce her husband back in 2016, when she claimed there was a video that surfaced of Hines having sex with another woman. Hines and his lawyer have repeatedly denied requests for comment on the specifics of Arnold’s allegations, but they acknowledged that Arnold and Hines were working on a “private and deeply personal matter”.

That matter was officially finalized as of July 15, when a judge signed off on Arnold’s divorce. The date of separation was listed back in 2016, so the pair were officially married for three and a half years. They share no children, and both waived rights to collect spousal support. According to the docs, each will keep their clothing, jewelry, and bank accounts. 

Arnold has remained busy in the years since her breakout role on Martin. She starred as Tina Butler in the fifth season of The Neighborhood, as well as a major role in 2019’s The Last Black Man in San Francisco. She is currently slated to star as the lead in Wonder London, a family film focused on race and equality.

Now that she’s officially a free woman, fans of Arnold are excited to see what the actress has next up her sleeve.

Weeks after suffering a miscarriage, Carena V, is mourning the loss of her boyfriend, JayDaYoungan. The rapper was shot and killed on Wednesday night in Louisiana. Though his sister claimed reports of his death were premature, police later confirmed his passing.

Carena V shared a slew of photos and videos of the two looking happily in love in a tribute post on Instagram. She penned a heartfelt post, describing JayDaYoungan as “a kind-hearted sweet soul” who was very forgiving.

“Thank God my last words to you were I love you, I hope you know how much tho…. Im so hurt bae, how could you leave me like that 💔 I would’ve never left you …. EVER , one thing we could do is make each other smile, such a kind hearted sweet soul… the thing I admired about you most is you forgave, always… and that’s all that really matters bby,” she wrote. “That’s what God wants the most out of everyone so I know you made him proud… first mazi now you ion know how I can keep going… im sooooo hurt… my best friend, my headache, my husband, my everything, my baby, you didn’t deserve this… i still can’t believe it.”

The mother of JayDaYoungan’s child also spoke out about his passing in a series of tweets today. She shared a photo of herself, Jay and their child together on a plane before revealing that they spoke right before his passing.

“Thankful I was able to see / spend time together with him & our son.. who knew that morning would’ve been our last time seeing him,” she wrote. “I’m hurt bad. We went through so much since 2017. My first love, my first everything. I will never be the same,” she wrote in another tweet.
