Chris Rock & Lake Bell’s Romance Continues With Beautiful Boat Date In Croatia

Things are only getting more serious between Hollywood couple Chris Rock and Lake Bell. Earlier this month, we reported that the two actors have been spending more and more time together, and now, the latest headlines reveal that they’ve taken their romance overseas to Croatia.

This past weekend, the 43-year-old and the comedian were spotted in the city of Dubrovnik, where they walked around and took in the beautiful view before hopping on a boat for a stunning ride on the water.

Page Six notes that Bell and her beau “couldn’t keep their hands off each other” while walking side-by-side. At one point, as she took a phone call in the middle of a plaza, cameras caught her wrapping her arms around Rock in an intimate way.

Both stars were dressed to the nines for their day of rest and relaxation, with the Madagascar voice actor pairing a black t-shirt with a button-up in the same colour, a pair of jeans, brown dress shoes, a tan hat, and some sunglasses.

For her part, Bell wore a navy blue-coloured jumpsuit with fringe detailing at the ankle; her accessories included a small grey tote bag and some simple but elegant black heels.

It seems they’ve been enjoying their time away from work for a while now – last week they were photographed holding hands while walking along a boardwalk in Trogir, and earlier today, the mother of two dropped off a bikini-clad video on her own Instagram feed (though Rock wasn’t included).

Kodak Black’s Lawyer Requests That A Third Party Tests The Alleged Drugs Found By Police

Kodak Black’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, has filed a motion to have the alleged drugs seized by police during the rapper’s recent arrest in Florida inspected by an independent party. According to documents obtained by Radar Online, Cohen says that testing from a third party is “essential” for a fair hearing.

“It is impossible … to explore a defense on behalf of [Kodak] without being able to inspect, weigh, and independently test the substances,” Cohen said in a statement.

He reportedly added that it is, “essential to ensure his right to a fair hearing, his right to confrontation, his right to prepare a defense on his own behalf, his right to effective assistance to counsel, and due process of law pursuant to the protections afforded to him by the Sixth and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution and the Florida Constitution.”

While he was released on a $75,000 bond, Black still faces two felony charges, one for possession of a controlled substance without prescription and another for trafficking. He was found with 31 oxycodone pills and $74,960 in cash during a traffic stop in Fort Lauderdale on Friday. Police had searched his vehicle after allegedly smelling marijuana.

“Never judge a case based on an arrest,” Cohen said initially after the arrest. “There are facts and circumstances that give rise to a defense, especially in this case. We negotiated a bond of $75,000 and we will move forward with resolving the matter quickly.”

Black also responded to the arrest by sharing his mug shot on social media with the caption, “SMH Not Again.”

Lil Uzi Vert is following the arrival of their “Space Cadet” single with another release – this one produced by Sonny Digital – called “I KNOW.” The new arrivals will be featured on the upcoming Red & White EP, which the “Silly Watch” rapper has promised will come shortly before their long-awaited P!NK EP.

The latest track was uploaded exclusively on Soundcloud, where LUV initially intended to release his follow-up to Eternal Atake, though it remains unclear if that’s still the plan.

On “I KNOW,” the Philadelphia native kicks off their second verse with, “Step back patient, and wait my turn / I was the one, yeah, I was the one / I am not one to wait, so you gotta say when you ready / You are disloyalty, so tell me when we go steady (Steady).”

Fans seem to be impressed with Lil Uzi’s latest efforts so far, and there are high hopes that his upcoming projects will satisfy in the same way.

Quinta Brunson & ABC Sued For Copyright Infringement Over “Abbott Elementary”

Since the debut of its pilot episode on December 7, 2021, ABC’s Abbott Elementary has become one of the most popular and critically acclaimed new comedy series on television. The half-hour mockumentary workplace comedy follows a ragtag group of teachers at an underfunded inner-city school in Philadelphia, a.k.a. the titular Abbott Elementary. The hilarious new series is helmed by Philadelphia’s own Quinta Brunson, and it boasts an eclectic core cast of Brunson, Tyler James Williams, Janelle James, Lisa Ann Walter, Chris Perfetti, and Sheryl Lee Ralph.

In his March appearance on LeBron James’ The Shop, Donald Glover praised Brunson’s work on the series, and shortly after the conclusion of its first season in April, Abbott Elementary was swiftly renewed for a second season. Now, just one week after it was revealed that Abbott notched seven Emmy nominations ahead of the 74th annual Emmy awards, it appears that Quinta Brunson and ABC have hit their first roadblock with the sensational new show.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Brunson and ABC have been sued for copyright infringement by Christine Davis, who alleges that Abbott Elementary is a “knock-off” of her show This School Year. Court documents reveal that Davis is claiming that Abbott steals several elements from This School Year, including “nearly identical” characters, suspiciously similar plotlines for the first few episodes, the “look and feel of the inner-city school, the mockumentary style, unique plot synopsis, and set design.”

While the show has not been aired before, Davis attests that her script was registered with the copyright office in early 2020, and she alleges that the script was shared with Shavon Sullivan Wright and Cherisse Parks of Blue Parks Productions — neither of whom is affiliated with Abbott Elementary and Hulu, which like ABC is a Disney property.

“Without [Davis’] permission, license, authority, or consent, [Brunson & ABC] knowingly and illegal used [Davis’] works to create the Abbott Elementary television show,” the lawsuit claims. To attest for the alleged copyright infringement, Davis is seeking a jury trial and an order for “Brunson and ABC [to] turn over all profits they made from the show.”

Brunson nor ABC has publicly commented on the lawsuit, but today, Brunson did announce that Abbott Elementary has officially started production on its second season. Keep it locked to HNHH for more details, and let us know in the comments if you think that Davis’ lawsuit will be successful.
