Stephen A. Smith is certainly known for his ability to dish out hot takes. The man has said some pretty outlandish things over the years but he still gets all of the ratings. For some, he is a detriment to sports conversation while in the eyes of others, he is the best in the business. He is someone who is incredibly entertaining and you cannot deny his ability to shine on TV.
Today on First Take, Smith debated Steph Curry’s contributions to the game of basketball and whether or not he made the sport worse by ushering in the three-point era. In Smith’s estimation, Curry actually helped elevate the game. However, Smith believes the game was made worse by someone, and that person just so happens to be Michael Jordan.
“Michael Jordan is responsible, as much as anybody, for changing the game for the worse,” Smith said. The justification for this take was actually quite interesting. He notes that MJ ushered in the era of individuality and that as a result, players stopped treating basketball like a team sport. Smith thinks that if it weren’t for Jordan, the game would still be like it was in the 80s, which is arguably a better product than what we have now.
Smith finished by saying that he has accepted the current state of the game, however, there are certainly people out there who feel like basketball is a lot worse for wear than it used to be.

In 1989, the Air Jordan 4 was released to the world and from then on, a star was born. This is a shoe that continues to get a lot of love from sneakerheads and every year, it also gets a ton of new colorways. Jumpman is very much aware of how good this shoe is and there is no doubt that it is a sneaker that lends itself well to unique colorways.
Recently, @zsneakerheadz took to Instagram with a photoshop rendering that reveals an Air Jordan 4 that will be released next year. This new colorway is called “Seafoam” and it will be a women’s exclusive. As you can see down below, this shoe mostly has a white and black upper, however, the seafoam green can be found on parts of the midsole. This is a very clean color scheme and we’re sure fans will be excited to sport these in the summer months.

A$AP Bari is putting A$AP Rocky on blast.
On Sunday, the new father shared a slideshow featuring three photos of himself with the caption “GRIM!”
A$AP Mob’s A$AP Bari commented under the post by appearing to take shots at Rocky. “You burnt out….” he wrote.
He continued to disparage his fellow Mob member in another Instagram post promoting Rocky’s upcoming album. “Shit trash,” he commented.

Rocky’s fans came to his defense by bringing up Bari’s controversial past, including his guilty plea to sexual assault in 2019. “@younglord I’m surprised you’re not burned out Bari. Assaulting women and paying Taiwanese manufacturers to print on Gildan blanks is hard work,” one person wrote, according to XXL.
It’s unclear why Bari has decided to turn against Rocky. Following Rocky’s arrest in April, Bari defended his groupmate and accused another A$AP Mob’s A$AP Relli of snitching on Rocky over an alleged 2021 shooting incident. “This rat ass ni**a told on Rocky,” Bari claimed. “Fu**ing rat.”
Rocky, who welcomed his first child with Rihanna last month, has not responded to Bari’s disses. He is readying his new album, which recently spawned the single “D.M.B. (Dats Mah Bitch).”
