Kate Bush Reacts To Impact Of “Stranger Things” On Popularity Of “Running Up That Hill”

Legendary singer-songwriter Kate Bush says that she loves Stranger Things and is excited to see the show bring new life to her Hounds of Love track, “Running Up That Hill.” After its inclusion in the recently released fourth season of the science fiction series, the song has soared up in streaming numbers.

“You might’ve heard that the first part of the fantastic, gripping new series of ‘Stranger Things’ has recently been released on Netflix,” Bush began in a statement shared on her website.

She continued: “It features the song, ‘Running Up That Hill’ which is being given a whole new lease of life by the young fans who love the show – I love it too! Because of this, Running Up That Hill is charting around the world and has entered the UK chart at No. 8. It’s all really exciting! Thanks very much to everyone who has supported the song.”

The song is played several times in the new season as it is the favorite song of the character Max Mayfield.

The fourth season of Stranger Things is being released in two volumes, with only the first seven episodes having been added to Netflix. Episodes eight and nine will be released in July as volume two. Bush also told fans that she’s looking forward to the second portion of episodes.

“I wait with bated breath for the rest of the series in July,” she concluded.

For its debut week, Stranger Things season four set a massive streaming record for Netflix with over 287 million hours viewed.

Donovan Mitchell Is “Unsettled” & “Unnerved” After Quin Snyder Departure: Report

Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell is reportedly “unsettled” by the sudden departure of the team’s longtime head coach, Quin Snyder. Snyder announced he would be resigning after eight seasons with the organization on Sunday.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Mitchell is “unsettled, unnerved and wondering what it means for the franchise’s future.”

Mitchell was traded to the Jazz on the night of the 2017 NBA Draft after being selected with the 13th overall pick. The All-Star guard reportedly cited Synder’s coaching as a primary reason for committing to a five-year maximum contract extension in 2020. Snyder boasted a .623 winning percentage over the past six seasons, third-best in the NBA. He was also able to take the team to the Western Conference semifinals twice.

“At the core, and what drives me every day is our players and their passion for the game, their desire to constantly work to improve and their dedication to the team and the Jazz. I strongly feel they need a new voice to continue to evolve. That’s it. No philosophical differences, no other reason. After eight years, I just feel it is time to move onward,” Snyder said in a statement. “I needed to take time to detach after the season and make sure this was the right decision.”

Snyder will finish as the second-winningest coach in franchise history behind Jerry Sloan.

“Morbius” Flops In Theaters After Returning Due To Meme Popularity

Morbius has flopped in its return to theaters, two months after the original release, earning just $85,000 on Friday. The critically panned film was given a second chance in theaters by Sony as a result of the popularity of memes regarding the film.

The lackluster return brought its total box office earnings to $73.6 million. The film still holds just a 17% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

The return to theaters comes after Leto recently posted a video on social media of himself reading from a fake script titled Morbius 2: It’s Morbin’ Time.

While the Spider-Man spinoff wasn’t the hit Sony was looking for, Leto recently discussed why he signed on for the project during an interview with Comicbook.com, telling the outlet that he was drawn to the uniqueness of the character.

“It’s harder and harder to find a character that hasn’t been portrayed before,” Leto explained. “And the fact that this character is coming to screens for the very first time April 1st, I’m incredibly excited about that. And the other thing that I loved is that you have this transformative performance inside of this big Marvel movie and that there were kind of three characters in one here, it was perfectly suited for me and what I’m interested in.”

Pusha T Reflects On Pharrell’s Influence On His Career: “You Taught Me Everything”

Pusha T brought Pharrell on stage during his recent performance at Novo in Los Angeles for the Its Almost Dry Tour on Saturday. During the set, he credited Pharrell for kickstarting his music career.

“Without Pharrell, there is no ‘It’s almost Dry’,” Pusha T told the crowd. “He brought a whole different dynamic to my album, Man I love you, bro, for everything, always. You brought me in this game, you taught me everything! Everything! Clothes, dressing, what you want? You did it. Real shit, no lie.”

“Man, I am just so proud of my brother,” Pharrell started off. “He’s been doing this for over 20-years. Number one album in the country. Everybody has been talking about it, y’all know this is the best one. Thank you for being so supportive all these years. And you gotta know when it comes to real masterpieces, when you know you really got one, that’s the thing you say, ‘its almost dry,’.”

After joining Pusha on stage, Pharrell helped him perform their recent hit “Neck & Wrist,” as well as several of their other collaborations. The two have worked together numerous times throughout the years. As a member of the Neptunes, along with Chad Hugo, Pharrell helped produce Clipse’s albums Lord Willin (2002) and Hell Hath No Fury (2006). Some of their biggest hits included “Grindin’,” “Mr. Me Too,” “When the Last Time,” and more.

Later this month, Pharrell will be releasing a song with 21 Savage and Tyler The Creator.

Kim Kardashian Recalls Pete Davidson Putting Pimple Cream On Her In Her Sleep

Kim Kardashian says that Pete Davidson once put pimple cream on her nose while she was sleeping. Kim recalled the incident during the latest episode of the family’s series, The Kardashians, while speaking with her sisters, Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian.

Describing Davidson as being “obsessed with skincare,” Kim added that it’s something they have in common and that he’s “genuine” and “thoughtful.”

She told her sisters, “I had this big pimple on my nose and I kept on complaining about this pimple and being like, ‘Oh my god, I have to get up and put pimple medicine on.'”

“One thing that we, like, seriously have in common is we’re obsessed with skincare and dermatologists and literally beauty products,” the Skims founder said. “I fell asleep at 8:30. I was so tired. And I woke up in the morning with dried pimple medicine on my nose. He put it on for me in my sleep because he knew that I really needed it to go away.”

Later in the same episode, Kim revealed that Davidson once tried to get her number from Megan Fox, before the two met on Saturday Night Live. Fox apparently told him it was “never going to happen.”

On Saturday, Davidson was spotted in Los Angeles holding Saint West’s hand while out shopping with Kim.

Shay Mitchell Announces Birth Of 2nd Child With Matte Babel

Shay Mitchell made her first public appearance since giving birth to her second child with Matte Babel at a BÉIS pop-up event in Los Angeles on Saturday. At the event, she spoke with E! to confirm the new addition to her family.

“I recently just had my second child and this is why this is all so much sweeter because this is the first time I’ve actually been outside of the house since having her,” she told the outlet.

Mitchell first announced that she and her partner were expecting back in February, writing on social media that she had just lost her grandmother and was going through “the most challenging” experience of her life.

“Saying goodbye to a loved one while simultaneously experiencing the joy of welcoming another into this world is the great cycle of life,” she explained at the time.

“I can’t help but think this was the universe’s plan all along, knowing I would need other worldly joy to cushion the blow of losing one of the most important people in my life,” she continued. “Yet, this is proof that love, life and loss can profoundly exist all at the same time. Gram, I miss you every day. Little one, we are so excited to meet you. I breathe a sigh of peace knowing you two are already connected in such a cosmic way.”

Mitchell and Babel welcomed their first child back in October 2019 with the birth of their two-year-old daughter Atlas. Mitchell and Babel began dating in 2017.
