Jack Harlow Lives A Glamourous Lifestyle With Anitta In His ‘First Class’ Video

Hot off the release of his sophomore album, Come Home The Kids Miss You, Jack Harlow has dropped the video for his Billboard chart-topping hit, “First Class.”

The video sees Harlow on an adventure with Brazilian singer, Anitta. In the video, directed by Jack Begert, the two bask in their wealth, enjoying their glamorous lifestyles. Harlow and Anitta lock eyes while taking separate glass elevators in a hotel. Anitta is later seen capturing Harlow with a telescope. All the while, Harlow takes flights on a private helicopter, dances in the middle of a dessert, and sits in an empty nightclub, accompanied by a bucket of ice and champagne. At one point in the video, Anitta motorcycles her way along a road, on which, painted letters spell out the word ‘glamourous.’

The song itself heavily samples “Glamorous” by Fergie on the chorus. “I grew up loving Fergie, like she literally inspired me,” Harlow told ET last month, “When I was in 5th grade, I tried to perform ‘Fergalicious’ at the talent show I have, like, a strong artistic connection to Fergie. I’ve been wanting to [sample her] for a while, and it just came together, and I figured it’s time.”

You can watch the video for “First Class” above.

Come Home The Kids Miss You is out now via Atlantic. Stream it here.

Jack Harlow and Anitta are Warner Music artists. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Doja Cat’s Talks Down On A Past Lover Who Underestimated Her Worth On The Vengeful ‘Vegas’

While new music from Doja Cat as a lead artist has yet to arrive in 2022, the rapper has still managed to be absolutely impressive throughout this year’s first four months. She blew everyone away with an excellent set at Coachella last month, so much so that many believed that she should’ve headlined the festival. Prior to that, Doja and SZA won a Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance thanks to their “Kiss Me More” collaboration. To top it all off, Doja also helped to bring back Taco Bell’s beloved Mexican Pizza, a menu item that fans of the fast-food chain, including Doja herself, have been begging for since late 2020.

Long story short, it’s been a pretty active year for Doja and she continues her streak with her latest single “Vegas.” The track is set to appear on the soundtrack for the upcoming film ELVIS which is set to arrive in theaters next month. On “Vegas,” Doja takes a moment talk down on an old lover who failed to see her true worth. “Had your ass sittin’ first class with your burnt ass out in Abu Dhabi,” she raps with a vengeance. “Could’ve been what we shoulda been but you lost a bet.”

ELVIS, which stars Austin Butler and Tom Hanks, is set to premiere in theaters on June 24th. While it may be a little while until we hear solo work from Doja, she is set to appear on a track called “Happy” from Post Malone’s upcoming album Twelve Carat Toothache.

You can listen to “Vegas” in the video above.

SZA Deleted TikTok For Mental Health Awareness Month: ‘Delete Anything…That Doesn’t Serve You’

Following a stunning appearance at the Met Gala, SZA has announced she’s taking a small break from social media. This break seemingly follows fans calling the “Good Days” singer out for attending the Met Gala, despite not putting out her highly anticipated sophomore album.

Back in April, SZA tweeted, “Not going to any more awards or events til my album out.” Fans quickly pulled up this tweet after she made an appearance at the Met Gala. The next day, following an influx of callouts in her mentions, SZA took to Twitter to express her frustrations.

“I swear to God if I didn’t accidentally fall in love w music .. I would NEVER EVER COME OUTSIDE,” she wrote. “Y’all suck the joy and life out of EVERYTHING. Thank God for purpose cause Outside of art it’s f*ck y’all . Now run w that.”

Earlier today, she took to Instagram to further express her disdain for social media, and the internet in general.

“Get off the internet. The internet is demonic,” she wrote on her Instagram story (per NME). “I deleted my TikTok for mental health awareness month. I encourage everyone to delete anything anyone and everything that doesn’t serve you. Bless.”

All things aside, fans may not have to wait much longer for new music from SZA. On the red carpet at the Met Gala, she said her new album was complete, assuring viewers “It’ll be a SZA summer.”

Tyga Returns With “Sheikh Talk” Single

It was just about a month ago when Tyga eased into New Music Friday releases with his “Lifetime” single, and at the time, he also delivered its accompanying visual. Although we haven’t heard anything about an album rollout just yet, Tyga has returned with another release: “Sheikh Talk.” Unlike “Lifetime,” where Tyga delivers a more brooding take, “Skeikh Talk” finds the rapper back in his boastful bag. He knows to create a party bop, so expect to hear more from Tyga as we creep closer to the summer months.

Meanwhile, aside from his music releases, Tyga has been stealing attention due to his legal woes. The rapper’s “Wavy Baby” sneaker collaboration with MSCHF has landed him in hot water after Vans fired off a lawsuit alleging that the kicks were copies of their classics. MSCHF reportedly claimed that “Wavy Baby” was an art project, but a judge approved a restraining order, anyhow.

I ain’t tryna gang-gang, twins whistling
I can hear snake n*ggas still hissening

Doja Cat Samples Elvis Presley On “Vegas” Single

She first introduced this track when she recently took to the Coachella stage and now we have received the official release of Doja Cat’s “Vegas.” The single is featured on the soundtrack to the forthcoming film, ELVIS, about late music icon Elvis Presley. The Baz Luhrmann-directed biopic stars  Austin Butler, Tom Hanks, Helen Thomson, Richard Roxburgh, Olivia DeJonge, Luke Bracey, and more. It will reportedly hit theaters next month on June 24.

Movie Insider describes the biopic as:

“The film explores the life and music of Elvis Presley (Butler), seen through the prism of his complicated relationship with his enigmatic manager, Colonel Tom Parker (Hanks). The story delves into the complex dynamic between Presley and Parker spanning over 20 years, from Presley’s rise to fame to his unprecedented stardom, against the backdrop of the evolving cultural landscape and loss of innocence in America. Central to that journey is one of the most significant and influential people in Elvis’s life, Priscilla Presley (Olivia DeJonge).”

On “Vegas,” you’ll find Doja and Co. have remixed Presley’s classic “Hound Dog,” so take a listen and let us know what you think of this one.

Quotable Lyrics

Two fingers up, one down, and my toes ten
Flewed out, my boobs out, put a cork in it
Love it when you be cryin’ out when I’m court sitted
I don’t think he gon’ make it, do not make me start ragin’
B*tch, I’m losin’ my patience, this ain’t stayin’ in Vegas

Logic Calls On Russ To Round Out “Therapy Music”

As we inch that much closer to the release of Vinyl Days, Logic continues to fire off new singles. We recently received two new songs from the rapper—tracks that were supposed to arrive as a two-pack but Def Jam apparently had other plans—and today (May 6), he returns with a new collaboration. Logic has teamed up with Russ for their track “Therapy Music,” and it’s a single that fanbases of both artists will enjoy.

As Russ officially rolls out his DIEMON record label with partner and longtime friend Bugus, we’re expecting to hear more from his camp in the months to follow. He recently shared that DIEMON signed its first artist, LaRussell, so fans are excited to see what develops. Logic also has a bit of news of his own as Vinyl Days is rumored to be set for arrival next month, and judging from what we’ve heard, it sounds as if he’s taking things back to the rhythms of the early days of Hip Hop.

As we await more news from both artists, stream their new collab “Therapy Music” and let us know what you think.

Quotable Lyrics

I keep my ego in check, just me and this instrumental pumpin’ through this cassette deck
Money don’t represent my rank
Yeah, Logic rose from jack but even the Titanic sank
I seen cats with egos bigger than cruise ships lose it
Gain power and abuse it
Same to take my kindness for weakness and confuse it
Same type don’t know I stay with a gat and know how to use it

Amber Heard’s Team Slams Johnny Depp, Calls His Trial Behavior “Pitiful”

Amid ongoing updates regarding Amber Heard taking to the stand in the explosive lawsuit case involving her ex-husband Johnny Depp, her team has shared a new statement with HNHH. We have continuously reported on Deep filing a defamation lawsuit against Heard and the actress, in turn, fired off a lawsuit of her own. The world has commented on each new shattering revelation of alleged sexual, physical, mental, and emotional abuse in their marriage.

Today (May 5), we received a statement from Heard’s team and in it, they condemned Depp and insinuated that he was indeed harmful to Heard. This comes not long after Depp’s representatives claimed that Heard’s testimony was the “performance of her life.” Heard’s spokesperson claims: “As evidenced by the statement just released, Mr. Depp’s defamation claim is falling apart so rapidly that his counsel are turning from prosecutor to persecutor.”

“They boast that Mr. Depp’s story has not changed,” the statement continued. “If so, since he lost the Domestic Violence Restraining Order and he resoundingly lost the libel case in the UK, perhaps he should consider a new strategy rather than the recycled approach of attacking the victim, and refusing to take responsibility for his own conduct.”

“If Mr. Depp was truly innocent, why has he repeatedly apologized to Ms. Heard and promised to put the ‘monster away for good.’ One of Ms. Heard’s disappointments is Mr. Depp’s inability to distinguish fact from fiction – a malady which appears to have spread to his legal team. That same team is so panicked they are fighting tooth and nail to prevent compelling evidence and photos from being introduced. Small wonder Mr. Depp does not have the fortitude or courage to even look at Ms. Heard at all throughout the proceedings – as he could not in the UK trial – and, instead he doodles and snickers.”

Heard has taken heat for years as the public has seemingly defended Depp throughout their contention. His fans have even launched a Change.org petition to have the actress removed from Aquaman 2, and it has already gained 3 million signatures.

“Mr. Depp’s behavior in this trial has been as pitiful as it was in their marriage. Apparently, they feel they must double-down on their demonstrably losing two-part strategy: distract the jury and demonize the victim,” the statement concludes.
