Megan Thee Stallion Says She’s Been Getting Threatening Messages On Social Media

The last week has been eventful for Megan Thee Stallion, and not in the way that she might have hoped. A preliminary hearing in the rapper’s felony assault case with Tory Lanez, who is accused of shooting her in the foot during the summer of 2020, occurred on Wednesday. What should have been a smooth hearing, unfortunately, turned out to be dramatic after multiple false reports about it were shared on social media. Megan did her best to fight back against the claims, responding to messages from DJ Akademiks and Tory himself.

Days after the whole ordeal, Megan revealed something else that she’s been dealing with. She says she’s been receiving threatening messages on social media, with some going as far as to issue death threats. Megan shared one example on her Instagram Story. She posted a screenshot of a message from a user named “megantheestallionsbiggesthater” who wrote, “Megan Needs To Be Shot And Killed.” Megan shared the screenshot and wrote, “This is the type of sh*t i get online and see EVERY DAY.”

Megan’s revealing post comes after she sued her label, 1501 Certified Entertainment, after they refused to claimed her 2021 project Something For Thee Hotties did not fulfill her contract.

Megan Thee Stallion is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Kanye West & Jamie Foxx Link Up After “Jeen-yuhs” Doc Reignites Love For “Slow Jamz”: “Can’t Wait For Y’all To See The Next Step”

Part 2 of Kanye West’s jeen-yuhs documentary released on Wednesday, bringing with it a newfound love for more tracks in Ye’s early discography. One of standout moments was the conception of the Jamie Foxx assisted track “Slow Jamz.”

Kanye West’s debut album The College Dropout is home to a plethora of classic tracks and beloved cuts. Jam-packed with sentimental storytelling, comedy, and musical ingenuity, the album is still hailed as one of the greatest in Ye’s extensive discography. With titles like “All Falls Down,” “Spaceship,” “Jesus Walks,” and “Never Let Me Down,” it’s nearly impossible to not enjoy the body of work as a staple in the Hip Hop community.

Adding to that legendary list is the song “Slow Jamz.” The 5 minute long piece is an amalgamation of some of the hottest styles in Hip Hop and R&B at the time, with Jamie Foxx and Twista lending a young Kanye West their talents. The trio created a megahit, one that would be the first number one Billboard hit in each of their respective careers.

Jamie Foxx has explained the conception of the track on occasion, from talk shows to conversations about Kanye’s talent as a whole. Act 2 of jeen-yuhs took us inside the studio and minds of the artists in an entirely different way, expanding the perspective of the track and widening the love and appreciation for it through a newfound connection to the track itself.

On Saturday, Kanye West posted a video on his Instagram, showing he and current day Jamie Foxx having a conversation:

As of late, nearly every artist we see with Ye results in music in some form or fashion. Will we be getting more Kanye West and Jamie Foxx music soon? We’ll let you know.

Cardi B Roasts TikToker Who Showers Once A Week

Cardi B’s presence on Twitter has always been a treat for her followers, whether it be spontaneously posting memes or responding to fans. And, sometimes, she decides to delete her extra provocative tweets.

For instance, recently Cardi B came across a TikTok video of a woman explaining how she only only showers once a week. In the video, TikTok user @cori.ontheroad explained how she is happy showering sparingly because she works virtually and typically is not around other people: “Yes I did say once a week. I live out in nature with my dogs, alone most of the time. They don’t care how I smell. My remote coworkers through the screen don’t care how I smell. I guess I’m just a dirty girl.”

She went on to explain how showering less has had positive effects on her hair and skin, and that she just wants people to live happily: “But I will say, my skin has been way healthier, my hair has been a lot less brittle, and healthier, and whatever, I’m happy. Shower, don’t shower, live your life people.”

When Cardi saw this though, she was concerned for a number of reasons. Firstly, the New Yorker mentioned how bad the smell could be. But, Cardi seemed mainly focused on how itchy she must have been: “Besides the smell… like b**ch you don’t itch?”

Cardi deleted the tweet a while after sending it, but surely she still means what she said. Check out her response to the dirty lady below.
