Cardi B, Doja Cat, Saweetie, And More Are Kid-Approved In A Cute TikTok Video

Reversing one of TikTok’s favorite challenges, a newly surfaced video proves the kids just might be alright. While the app has become known as a launching pad for some artists’ careers — artists like Bella Poarch, Foushee, and Lil Nas X — it’s also a place where the generation gap couldn’t be more evident as teens challenged their older relatives to identify stars of today like DaBaby, Lil Baby, and others. However, one parent flipped the trend, showing photos of stars to her toddler, and the wholesome video rapidly accumulated a huge number of views, jumping to other platforms as well.

Seeing photos of Beyonce, Cardi B, Chance The Rapper, DaBaby, Doja Cat, Nicki Minaj, Pop Smoke, and Saweetie, the child correctly identifies most of them, getting extra excited for Cardi B and Doja, although we’ll give points for effort for exclamations of “Baby!” and “Pop Soaps!” However, one of the more inexplicable answers is for Megan Thee Stallion, who for some reason, the baby identifies as “Grandma.”

As these acts all hover in the upper echelons of the Hot 100 whenever they drop new music, it’s no wonder they’re kid-approved — or maybe it’s the other way around. In any case, judging by this toddler’s reactions, Cardi and Doja look to have long careers ahead of them — and Megan Thee Stallion might want to check her mail for that AARP card.

Floyd Mayweather Vs. Logan Paul Earnings Breakdown Revealed

Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul will be fighting against each other on Sunday and it should prove to be an incredible spectacle. The fight itself is a bit of a wildcard although the actual fanfare is about to be pretty intense. After all, Logan Paul is a massive entertainer all while Mayweather is one of the greatest boxers of all-time, who has beaten some of the best to ever step in the ring. It seems obvious as to who will win, although no matter what happens, these guys are making a lot of money.

In fact, a new report from Sporting Free claims that there is a substantial earnings gap between Logan and Floyd. Mayweather will make $10 million from the fight, while Paul will only get $250,000. As for the share of the Pay-Per-View earnings, Floyd will get 50 percent while Paul will get 10 percent.

While the gap is pretty large, it makes sense when you consider how Floyd has a lot more to lose here. Not to mention, Paul can still make a lot of money, especially with each PPV costing $50 USD. If 4 million people were to purchaser the PPV, Logan could make $20 million while Mayweather would make $100 million. Needless to say, this is a solid value proposition for all of the parties involved.

Let us know if you plan on watching the fight, in the comments below. Also, be sure to give us your predictions.

Smoke DZA Delivers “The Hustler’s Catalog 2” Ft. Curren$y, Dave East, Westside Gunn & More

It’s a great day to be a fan of bars, with new albums from Lloyd Banks, Papoose, Peter Rosenberg, and Smoke DZA, who has officially come through to deliver his new project The Hustler’s Catalog 2. Featuring a stacked roster of guest appearances from Westside Gunn, Curren$y, Dom Kennedy, Dave East, Benny The Butcher, and more, it’s clear that the sequel is primed to as hard-hitting as its predecessor.

Striking an intriguing tone off the bat with “Big Step,” a slinking grimy endeavor featuring the added talents of Westside Gunn and Curren$y Spitta, it’s exactly the sort of vibe DZA has been perfecting for years now. He proceeds to trade bars with Dave East on the following track “Grey Poupon,” a back-and-forth structure that showcases the chemistry between the two New Yorkers. On “Peace,” DZA tackles a jazzy instrumental as he lets fly a dexterous display of lyricism.

It’s no surprise that Benny The Butcher came through to join in the attack, being that he’s developed a healthy habit of bodying featured verses on damn near every lyrically-driven release that hits the streets. It’s a testament to the respect that DZA has built through constant and quality bodies of work, much to the delight of those who still appreciate lyricism and raw, golden-era esque production. On that note, “Stashhouse” immediately conjures up a cinematic tone, evocative of the mafioso hip-hop that was once so ubiquitous in the game.

It’s clear that DZA is a student of that bygone era, and has since built up enough experience to consider himself a leader by example. Though perhaps he’s more comfortable flying under the radar, fans would be remiss to let this one fall by the wayside — support Smoke DZA and stream The Hustler’s Catalog 2 now.

Jake Paul & Tyron Woodley Roast Each Other During Stare-Down

Jake Paul just came off of a huge knockout victory over Ben Askren and since the win, many have been wondering when he would go up against someone who actually has a chance at beating him. What’s interesting, however, is the fact that many thought Nate Robinson would beat Paul, and they said the same about Askren. However, with Paul proving people wrong at every turn, they have consistently moved the goal posts. Regardless, Paul is now set to go up against Tyron Woodley in what should be his toughest test yet.

The fight is set to go down on August 28th and fans can’t wait to see how it all plays out. It seems to be a toss-up as to who can win and we may very well see Paul get pushed to more than just two rounds. Yesterday, Paul and Woodley took part in a stare-down which was all for their pre-fight press conference.

As you can see in the YouTube video below, the two had a lot of words for each other, and it’s clear they will be motivated come August. For instance, Woodley noted that he is the champ, while Paul reminded him that he hasn’t won anything in a very long time. Paul also noted that Woodley is pushing 40 and that should he lose to Jake, he will be losing to a kid who acted on Disney shows.

Needless to say, there is a lot at stake here, and we can’t wait to see how each man responds.

Malik Beasley Reportedly Started His Jail Sentence This Week

Malik Beasley had one of the best seasons of his career, at just 24 years old. With the Minnesota Timberwolves, Beasley averaged just shy of 20 points per game, and throughout the year, he looked like a player with a bright future in the NBA. Unfortunately, Beasley’s season was also filled with drama as he was in a social media love triangle with the mother of his child Montana Yao, and Larsa Pippen. This was a story that lasted for weeks, and just a few weeks ago, Beasley apologized to Yao in a lengthy IG message.

Prior to the season, Beasley was arrested on drug possession and violent threat charges as he allegedly pointed a gun at some family members who were in his driveway. Back in February, Beasley was sentenced to 120 days in jail for the incident, and it was to be served after the season.

According to TMZ, Beasley has officially entered the Wright County Jail in Minnesota where he will be serving the 120-day sentence. Beasley’s sentence officially began on Tuesday, June 1st, which means he will be out of Jail in time for the beginning of October, which is when the basketball season is set to restart.

Stay tuned for updates on this situation as we will be sure to bring them to you.

Fousheé Has A Whimsical Thug Romance In Her Cheeky ‘My Slime’ Video

Viral favorite singer Fousheé released her debut album Time Machine this week, along with the cheeky video for “My Slime.” The self-directed video finds Fousheé and the goon of her dreams robbing a bank, going on the run, and forced to split up when he finally gets caught. The incongruity between them — him with his gold grill and ski mask and her with her whimsical schoolgirl look — makes for a lot of comedy as she plays the lovestruck Harley Quinn to her beau’s blinged-out Joker. Even the bank tellers are smitten with their romance — although, Fousheé’s poor trigger discipline makes me want to gnaw off my own fingers.

“My Slime” isn’t the first time the singer — who really only wants to “Sing About Love” — has toyed with the dichotomy between the soft, cotton-candy vibes of her dreamy R&B and the aggressive, boastful projections of rugged rap aesthetics. In her video for “Gold Fronts,” the stripped-down, drumless backing track allows an off-kilter but engaging backdrop for Lil Wayne to flex his lyrics while Fousheé sings about wanting a pair of gold fronts — a historically atypical topic for the sort of soulful music she creates. By playing with expectations, she puts her own unique twist on all the songs on Time Machine, which is out now via RCA Records. Get it here.

LPB Poody & Lil Wayne Remix Viral “Batman” Song With MoneyBagg Yo

Rising Florida rap star LPB Poody has a viral hit record on his hands with “Batman.” The song has been performing well on social media for weeks and the official remix will help to give it another boost, adding Lil Wayne and MoneyBagg Yo onto the smash.

Receiving co-signs from two of music’s biggest stars, LPB Poody is destined to have himself a big summer with the “Batman” remix. The 20-year-old keeps his catchy hook intact, adding new verses from Bagg and Weezy, who shines with plenty of quotable, as always.

Listen to the new remix of “Batman” below and let us know what you think. Who had the best verse on the song? Lil Wayne? LPB Poody? Or MoneyBagg Yo?

Quotable Lyrics:

And all my slimers be slimin’, we wipe his nostrils, he snotty
I swear that shotty like sinus and that Bugatti like Sonic
The, the, the hedgedog, how I sped off
Drop the top and take the head off
Pick a bitch up, drop some bread off
Get my dick sucked, take the edge off
Kill that pussy, knock it dead off
Then I fled off, clean your bed off
She gave me a blow job, I love that job, I can’t get laid off

Lakers Fans Want Kyle Kuzma And Others Sent Overseas Next Season

Twitter can be a horrible place during the NBA playoffs if you’re a player that is. For the fans, it is an incredible place to maneuver as fanbases ruthlessly go at each other, all while jokes and slander fly like no one’s business. When players aren’t living up to their hype, the comments can be quite brutal and over the past few months, it has become a trend to envision a player being sent overseas if they continue to play poorly.

A perfect example of this happened last night as the Lakers were eliminated at the hands of the Phoenix Suns. No one was putting the blame on LeBron James as fans recognized that his supporting cast was just not living up to their contracts. Kyle Kuzma was hit the worst with such slander, while Andre Drummond also caught some pretty negative comments.

As you can see in the tweets below, fans joked about Kuzma’s upcoming trip to the Chinese Basketball Association, where he would get to choose between the Shanghai Sharks and the Guangdong Tigers. These are two teams that are mainstays in this meme, and we will certainly continue to see this type of slander throughout the playoffs.

For players, these comments can certainly be annoying although if they stay off social media the day after each game, they can easily come out of it unscathed.
