DMX’s Friend Hijacks Memorial Stage & Gets Kicked Off: Watch

We witnessed a beautiful memorial service for the late Earl “DMX” Simmons this weekend, which was broadcast from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. There were amazing performances planned by Kanye West and the Sunday Service choir, as well as plenty of other artists who shared moments in DMX’s legendary career. There were also touching speeches from members of Simmons’ family and his close friends.

Unfortunately, one of the rapper’s closest buddies from the last twenty years, Jungle, was supposedly pretty upset that he was not invited to speak in front of the crowd of thousands so he took matters upon himself and stepped onto the stage to address the masses. Jungle interrupted the flow of the memorial, upsetting many in attendance, including Pastor AR Bernard, who kicked the man off stage.

Right when he began introducing a story that he wanted to tell the crowd, which he never got to conclude, Jungle was interrupted by Pastor Bernard, who told him that there was order to be maintained. “You violated your respect,” chastised the Pastor. “You disrespected my house. You disrespected my house. Regardless of how good you think what you’ve got to say is. You’ve disrespected my house. God bless you, my brother.”

Jungle was quickly escorted off of the stage before the memorial service went on as scheduled.

The moment has been often discussed across social media, with some people taking the side of Jungle, a man who has been friends with DMX for over twenty years. Others have backed up the Pastor, explaining that Jungle had no right but to interrupt the process. What do you think? Should Jungle have been allowed to end his story despite the interruption?

Steve Kerr Reveals Klay Thompson’s Recovery Progress

Heading into this season, the Golden State Warriors were confident that they would be back to how they were in 2015 and 2016, before Kevin Durant showed up. Klay Thompson, Steph Curry, and Draymond Green were all going to be healthy and it was going to be a lot of fun in the Bay Area. Unfortunately, prior to the start of the season, Thompson tore his Achilles, just a few weeks after fully recovering from his torn ACL. It was a truly devastating injury that is forcing Thompson to miss two straight seasons.

Thompson has been working hard to come back from the injury and recently, Steve Kerr told the media about where Thompson is in his recovery timeline. As it stands, the next big step for Thompson is to start running again and Thompson is just two weeks away from that activity.

No matter what, it would appear as though Thompson will not be coming back at all this season, which will allow him to have a fresh start as of next season. The Warriors will appreciate having him back on the floor, and hopefully, he can get back to his normal self.

Stay tuned to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest news and updates from around the NBA.

Mo Bamba Praised After Covering Devin Cannady’s Horrific Injury

Throughout the history of basketball, numerous players have suffered gruesome injuries while trying to land on their feet. When you end up in an awkward position, it could lead to a severe outcome, and that is what happened on Sunday night as Devin Cannady of the Orlando Magic suffered a compound fracture of his ankle.

The injury was extremely gruesome as you could clearly see blood pooling out of the player’s leg. He was grimacing in pain and many of his teammates seemed to be disgusted by the sight. One teammate stepped up to protect Cannady, however, as Mo Bamba immediately took his jersey off and covered the injury so his teammate didn’t have to see it.

“I just saw my teammate was down, and I just did what he would probably do for me. I just thought quick and I didn’t want him to see (the injury). I just took my shirt off my back and gave it to him,” Bamba said.

Bamba was immediately praised for his actions as many felt like it was the most respectful gesture they’ve seen from a player in a long time. As Bamba noted, he did the first thing that came to his mind, and in the end, it was well-appreciated.

AS fo Cannady, he will have to undergo surgery and we wish him all the best in his recovery.

HER, Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, And Jon Batiste Got Big Wins At The 2021 Oscars

The Academy Awards were last night, so the best in film from the past year was properly honored. Per usual, some of the awards were devoted to music as well, and picking up big wins in those categories were HER, Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, and Jon Batiste.

HER got the Best Original Song win for her Judas And The Black Messiah track “Fight For You” over “Husavik” from Eurovision Song Contest: The Story Of Fire Saga (sung by Will Ferrell and Molly Sandén, the latter of whom Rachel McAdams lip-synced for the film), Celeste’s “Hear My Voice” from The Trial Of The Chicago 7, Leslie Odom Jr.’s “Speak Now” from One Night In Miami, and Lauren Pausini’s “Io Sì (Seen)” from The Life Ahead.

Reznor, Ross, and Batiste’s Soul score also picked up a win, in the Best Original Score category, winning over the former two’s score for Mank, as well as Da 5 Bloods, Minari, and News Of The World.

As Billboard notes, these wins were superlative. Reznor, Ross, and Batiste are the first three-member composing team to win Best Original Score in 33 years, following Ryuichi Sakamoto, David Byrne, and Cong Su’s 1987 win for The Last Emperor. Batiste is also just the third Black composer to win in a scoring category, following Prince’s 1984 win for Best Musical Song Score with Purple Rain and Herbie Hancock’s 1986 victory for Best Original Score with ‘Round Midnight.

HER’s victory was also historically significant: For the first time in 35 years, a songwriter or songwriting team won an Oscar in the same awards season that they won a Grammy for Song Of The Year for a different song, as HER’s “I Can’t Breathe” just picked up the Grammy win a few weeks ago.

DaBaby’s Rap Rival Cam Coldheart Dies Suddenly: Report

Up-and-coming Charlotte-based rapper Cam Coldheart has reportedly passed away. Sources say the rapper was only 33-years-old. A cause of death has yet to be revealed. The rapper, whose real name was Cameron Henigan, reportedly leaves behind a few children, although it is presently unclear how many kids he had.

His passing is being described as “sudden” by multiple sources. Cam Coldheart was previously known for having a physical altercation at the Louis Vuitton store with rapper DaBaby. The fight, which was later revealed to have allegedly been staged, was supposedly a hoax, said Coldheart last year. “It’s time to tell y’all what really happened. What’s really going on in the Charlotte music scene? It was fake. It was a hoax, n***a. Some parts was real, but it was definitely heavily fabricated after the fact,” he explained.

In the video, Coldheart was knocked out with a bloody nose and his pants were pulled down to his ankles. “That’s Hollywood for you. Everything I said after that sh*t happened, everything on the internet for the past year was for money, you feel me,” added the rapper in a 2020 interview.

We will keep you posted as a cause of death is revealed. Rest in peace, Cam Coldheart.
