Lil Uzi Vert Reacts To Lil Pump’s New Forehead Diamond

Lil Uzi Vert has been all over the place as of late, popping up on Slime Language 2 on the track “Proud Of You” and teasing his next few musical releases on social media. The 26-year-old rapper has been showing off his relationship with City Girls’ rapper JT, proudly displaying their love to the world through a series of cute photos and videos.

Earlier this year, the Philadelphia-raised superstar debuted his new look, revealing that he had spent $24 million on a diamond, which was pierced to his forehead. With his career on a steep decline, fellow rapper Lil Pump has resorted back to clout chasing for a quick buzz on Instagram, which he did again by ripping off Uzi’s forehead diamond. “@liluzivert this one is 28 mil,” wrote the Trump-endorsing rapper with a picture of him stunting a diamond in the middle of his face. People have not been kind to Pump in the comments, ripping him apart for yet another embarrassing display online. Even Uzi was lost for words, simply responding to the rapper with one word: “Wow.”

That’s all Lil Uzi had to say on the picture, racking up over 49 thousand likes for his one-word response. His reaction is reminiscent of the way Uzi turned down Lil Xan’s attempt to collaborate on a new song, in which he kindly told the much-hated-on rapper that he “mumbles alone” when Xan asked him for a studio session.

What do you think Uzi was thinking when he saw Lil Pump’s new (likely fake) forehead diamond?

Joey Bada$$ & Diddy Celebrate Oscar Win

This past Sunday, April 25th, marked the 93rd Academy Awards — and while the year in cinema was lighter than usual, there were certainly a few notable moments to be seen. For one, Daniel Kaluuya took home the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award, while Best Actor winner Sir Anthony Hopkins paid tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman during his acceptance speech.

It also marked a big night for hip-hop, as Joey Bada$$ found himself joining the ranks of the rap game’s Oscar-winning talent — a pool occupied by the likes of Eminem, Three 6 Mafia, Ludacris, Common, and Diddy, who doubled down with another addition to the collection. After the Travon Free-directed Two Distant Strangers took home the Academy Award for the Best Live Action Short Film, star Joey Bada$$ took a moment to call up executive producer Diddy in a celebratory fit of glee.

In a clip circulating on social media, Diddy can be seen congratulation Bada$$ during a FaceTime call, channeling the energy once seen during his iconic “I’m A SAVAGE” video. “What the fuck, so proud of you ni*ga!” screamed an exhilarated Diddy. “What the fuck! Wouldn’t be no Oscar if it wasn’t for you king.”

Director Travon Free also celebrated the big win with a call to Diddy, whose boundless enthusiasm has yet to be paralleled. “Sean Combs baby, we did this baby, we did it baby,” said Free, flashing a glimpse at Diddy on FaceTime. “That’s Diddy right there baby. Producer extraordinaire. We did it baby, we bringing it home, Diddy. Look at that party baby, they waiting for us. I’m calling you as soon as we leave.”

Diddy himself took a moment to pen an accomplished reflection on Instagram. “I’m incredibly blessed to WIN MY SECOND OSCAR as a producer for UNDEFEATED and now @2distantstrangers!! Words can’t describe how I feel right now winning alongside my brothers,” he writes.

Check out Two Distant Strangers starring Joey Bada$$, officially an Academy Award-winning short film, on Netflix now. Congratulations to Diddy and Joey!

Kanye West’s Nike Air Yeezy 1 Grammy Sample Sells For Record Amount

Kanye West has a storied history when it comes to sneakers. Before joining Adidas to create his very own brand, Kanye was working with Nike and in the late 2000s, he came through with the Nike Air Yeezy 1. Over the years, there have been a plethora of samples that have hit the auction block and recently, Sotheby’s received the most coveted pair yet. This shoe was a Nike Air Yeezy 1 sample that was made specifically for the Grammys. The shoe has a black leather upper and various unique details that make it stand out.

The opening bid for the shoe was a modest $1 million but now, it has officially sold for $1.8 million. The winner was Rares App who is known for buying extremely rare sneakers to add to their inventory. This was a massive win for Rares and it also sets a big precedent. A shoe has never sold for this much money before, and it’s basically confirmed the fact that Kanye’s output with Nike is some of the most valuable footwear on the market.

This auction will certainly lead to some other massive sales in the future. If you’re someone who holds a Nike Air Yeezy sample in their collection, you might just want to think about selling.

“Slime Language 2” Debuts At #1 On Billboard 200

Young Thug and Gunna made some exemplary moves over the weekend, paying the bails of thirty jail inmates who were previously convicted of low-level offenses at one of the most historically overcrowded correctional institutions in America. The Young Stoner Life representatives are getting a lot of love for the commendable decision to help thirty families get back together, and their good karma is already paying off with their new album Slime Language 2, which showcased the talents of YSL members Unfoonk, Karlae, Yung Kayo, Yak Gotti, and more, has officially debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200.

According to the first-week sales figures for Slime Language 2, the new album, which features Drake, Future, Lil Baby, Travis Scott, and so many more, moved approximately 113,000 equivalent album units. After a successful first week of sales, Young Thug, Gunna, and everyone at YSL are seemingly trying to keep the album at the top of the charts by dropping eight extra songs as part of the deluxe edition, featuring DaBaby, Don Toliver, NAV, Jim Jones, and others.

This is the third album from the Young Stoner Life collective to reach the top spot on the Billboard 200, following Young Thug’s So Much Fun and Gunna’s WUNNA. Congratulations to everyone on the label for such a successful first week of sales.

Young Thug & Gunna Post Bail For 30 Low-Level Offenders

Young Thug and Gunna are men of the people. With their recent album Slime Language 2, a compilation concocted alongside Lil Keed, Duke, and the rest of their YSL associates and allies, currently at the top of the charts, Thugger and Gunna have been mobilizing to do their part beyond the studio.

A new report from WSB-TV2 indicates that the pair recently posted the bail of thirty low-level offenders at Atlanta’s Fulton County Jail over the weekend, with the intention to reunite the prisoners with their families. Thugger opened up about his motivation to help the less fortunate, speaking to the outlet shortly after visiting the jail. “This is where we are from,” he stated. “We just woke up and went to the jail with the lawyer and, you know, DA’s and the prosecutors, you know, the bonding companies and just got as many people as we can out.”

“You never know what somebody been through,” added Gunna. “There was people sitting out three or four years and couldn’t get out on a bond. If they did the crime, then they can do the time, then it’s all right. But it’s like you’re giving them a bond higher than what they stole.”

Young Thug hinted that this would not be the last time he and Gunna stepped up to help his community. “It feels so food to the point where you start feeling that’s why God put me here,” he explained. “He put me here to do this.”

It’s certainly a noble gesture by Thug and Gunna, and one has to wonder if their example will lead other artists to follow suit in the name of bettering their own respective communities. We’d like to commend the YSL duo on their leadership, generosity, and empathy — show some appreciation to Gunna and Young Thug in the comments below.

Anderson Silva Pens Heartfelt Message For Chris Weidman

Seven years ago, Anderson Silva snapped his leg after trying to perform a kick on Chris Weidman. It was a gruesome injury that had many fans disgusted when they saw it live on TV. Now, seven years later, the exact same thing has happened to Weidman, as he looked to perform a leg kick on Uriah Hall. The injury took place on Saturday night and it’s something that no one expected to see. It was truly gruesome and now, Weidman won’t be able to walk for eight weeks as he just went through surgery.

Silva witnessed the injury and it immediately reminded him of what he went through so many years ago. In a classy gesture, Silva took to Instagram where he wrote some kind words of encouragement for Weidman. Needless to say, Silva wouldn’t wish that kind of leg injury onto anyone.

“My deepest and most sincere sentiments champ. Have faith, I wish you a speedy recovery. In this moment I wish you and your family light, love and knowledge. To the fans of the sport, please respect this moment of this incredible warrior and let’s wish that he is 100% very recovered soon. May God bless you and your family @chrisweidman,” Silva wrote.

Hopefully, Weidman is able to make a full recovery sooner rather than later. Whether or not he continues to fight, remains a mystery although it’s a decision he will have to make with his family.

Now That HER Has An Oscar To Go With Her Grammys, She’s Going After The EGOT

HER is only 23 years old, but she’s already racked up four Grammy Awards and picked up an Oscar last night, as she got the Best Original Song win for her Judas And The Black Messiah track “Fight For You.” This puts her halfway towards an EGOT (winning an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award), on which she has now set her sights.

Speaking with ET after her win, HER said, “Oh, there’s absolutely going to be an EGOT in my future, hopefully. But yeah, I’m also super passionate about acting as well, so you may see me up here as an actress also. And I love musicals, me and Brandy have been talking about it a lot. She’s inspired me since she did a musical [Cinderalla]. Honestly, I cannot believe that we’re here. […] I’m still speechless, I feel like the Oscars are happening tomorrow and I’m dreaming right now. I’m still pinching myself, so I have no words.”

Only 16 artists have ever achieved EGOT status, although four of those artists finalized the feat in just the past few years. In 2018, John Legend, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Tim Rice simultaneously EGOT’ed after collectively winning an Emmy for producing Jesus Christ Superstar Live In Concert. Alan Menken also got his EGOT by picking up an Emmy last year.

If HER pursues an EGOT in earnest, she has a shot at becoming the youngest person to ever do it. The current record-holder is Robert Lopez, who is known for his work on projects like Frozen and The Book Of Mormon and was 39 years old when he completed his EGOT. Legend is a close second, as he was 39 years and 8 months old when he got the EGOT.

Justin Bieber Clowned After Debuting New Dreadlocks

Justin Bieber just can’t seem to catch a break. Even after he poured his heart out on his latest studio album, explaining how perilous fame has been for him after having grown up in the public eye, the 27-year-old Canadian artist continues to face the wrath of the public after debuting a new hairstyle. Bieber showed off his new dreadlocks, which instantly went viral as people commented on his new look, calling out the singer for cultural appropriation.

Over his career, Justin Bieber has not shied away from accusations of cultural appropriation. Tying up his hair and rocking the start of some dreads, Bieber got clowned by the majority of people commenting on his new look, with some saying he looks like a “rich homeless man.” Others drew comparisons to Lil Pump, with a number of folks stating that they believed this was a photo of the 20-year-old rapper before reading the caption and seeing Justin’s name. “Why did I think this was lil pump showing he got his face tats removed,” said one person in The Shade Room’s comments.

As you surely know, this is not the first time Justin Bieber has come under fire for debuting a new look. So fat, Justin hasn’t said anything about how people are perceiving his new look.

See below to see how everyone is reacting to his hair.

Chiefs TE Sean Culkin Explains Why He’s Turning Salary Into Bitcoin

Cryptocurrency has become massive over the past decade, especially in light of the meteoric rise of Bitcoin. As of writing this article, Bitcoin is hovering around $53,000 USD and just a couple of weeks ago, it reached an all-time high of $64,000. Needless to say, BTC is very volatile although if you hold it for a very long time, you will always come out with some massive profits.

Now, NFL tight end Sean Culkin is going all-in on Bitcoin as he announced that he will convert his entire salary into Bitcoin. His base salary is $920,000 and all of it will be put into Zap’s Strike which is a conversion app that turns Fiat into Satoshis. In a recent interview, Culkin explained why he’s doing this.

“I don’t want to have to feel pressured to be like, ‘I don’t know if I’m gonna buy this week,’” Culkin said via Yahoo! Sports. “For me, it makes sense to get paid in the hardest form of currency, and it’s something that is resistant to inflationary pressures that I think is very relevant in this current economic environment.”

Considering we are in the midst of a Bull Run, turning all of your Fiat currency into Bitcoin seems like a smart investment. However, when the three-year Bear Market rears its ugly head like it did in 2014 and 2018, it will be interesting to see if Culkin sticks to his guns and continues to invest his money this way.
