Asian Doll Reveals She Also Lost Three Family Members Alongside King Von’s Death

Over the last six months, Asian Doll has had to deal with a lot. In November, she lost her rapper boyfriend King Von to a shooting by an alleged member of Quando Rondo’s crew. Asian was, of course, devastated by the loss, as the two considered one another their twin flame. Her grief for King Von has been her public focus since he passed, however, she revealed on twitter this morning that she has suffered even more loss behind closed doors. Asian’s stepfather, brother, and grandmother all passed away between the time Von died and now, as she revealed on twitter today. Her mental health is clearly taking a beating, with the tweet being followed up with a simple: “Sad.”

I lost von, my step daddy, my brother & my grandmother all in 6months…. Wow,” she tweeted Monday morning.

Many fans came to her aid, just wanting the best for her and hoping that she feels better soon.

It seems that Asian has been really evaluating what’s important in her life, though, and cutting out things that aren’t. She also told fans on Monday that she’s “been letting bridges burn…”

Above all, though, Asian Doll definitely doesn’t let anything kill her self-esteem, posting photos of herself dripping in crystals alongside the caption, “Da Wife” shortly after this moment of openness with her fans.

Jack Harlow Showcases Kentucky In “Route 66” Video With EST Gee

Jack Harlow is doing everything in his power to establish Kentucky as a hot spot for hip-hop. While the area has never been tapped into as far as a rap-heavy zone, there has been a wave of artists coming out of Louisville and its surroundings, including Bryson Tiller, the aforementioned Harlow, 2KBABY, and the rising star EST Gee, among others. In the new music video for Harlow’s “Route 66”, he links with EST Gee to show off what Kentucky can produce in terms of rap stars.

The track is from his debut album That’s What They All Say, which received a lot of critical acclaim when it released a few months ago. “Route 66” is an ode to Kentucky with the 2020 XXL Freshman explaining how the state’s been changing artistically, telling fans that the Dixie Chicks aren’t the only musical products to have come out from there. EST Gee joins him for a verse, showing up for the video and heading to some of Kentucky’s biggest landmarks with Jack.

This weekend, Jack Harlow confirmed that he will be performing on Saturday Night Live this month. With the release of the “Route 66” video, the 22-year-old is starting off the month with a bang, poised to continue with even more fire with his SNL debut.

Max Holloway Makes Bold Claim About Conor McGregor Rematch

Max Holloway recently won against the likes of Calvin Kattar back in January and since that time, he has been looking for his next opponent. The UFC star has fought some pretty big names in the past and it would only make sense for him to get to go up against a superstar. In fact, while being approached by TMZ recently, Holloway made a revelation about what his next fight was supposed to be.

Essentially, had Conor McGregor defeated Justin Poirier, Holloway would have been well on his way to a rematch against the Irish star. However, since the fight didn’t go in McGregor’s favor, Holloway’s future is a bit up in the air.

“[Holloway vs. McGregor] was on a very short list for UFC if everything went well in [Conor’s] last fight and it didn’t,” Holloway said. “And I don’t wanna kick a dog when it’s down. At the end of the day, we’ll see what happens.”

For those who may not remember, Holloway and McGregor fought all the way back in 2013, and McGregor ended up winning via a third-round decision. A rematch would have certainly been fun to watch, but for now, we’ll just have to settle for something else.

The Game Shares “End Games” Mixtape After Being Accused Of Scamming Artists

The Game is being accused of running some shady business on social media, allegedly reaching out to a number of artists and expressing an interest in working with them and growing their careers. He’s being accused of asking for these artists to pay $1,000 to get reposted on his socials or be added onto mixtapes, and it appears as though the mixtapes have been shared officially.

The mixtapes, which were shared on a secondary SoundCloud account, don’t offer much promotion for the artists featured on the projects, which is exactly what the rappers involved have allegedly been complaining about. The page only has 353 followers (at the time of publication) and despite being shared three days ago, most of the songs have less than 100 plays. Still, Game is trying to offer a platform to these artists, sharing the link in his bio and writing, “OUT NOW click link in bio, let’s run these numbers up.”

The artists featured include Chivo, Baby Jay, Geezy, Mic Corbin, and dozens of other aspiring rappers. The Game is not featured on the three mixtape compilations that were uploaded– he simply hosts it on his page.

The Game has yet to comment on the allegations that he has been scamming artists. However, this doesn’t really appear to be a scam. Game is following through on his promise, from the looks of things. Because the artists aren’t being posted on his main page though, this just doesn’t seem like a smart opportunity for artists looking to proactively impact their careers.

Joakim Noah Gearing Up To Retire With The Bulls: Report

Joakim Noah was a fan-favorite during his peak years with the Chicago Bulls as he was a no-nonsense gritty type player who was dominant on both sides of the floor. He didn’t mind getting into people’s faces and he certainly gave LeBron James some problems during a few playoff matchups. After leaving the Bulls, Noah bounced around the league for a while and last year, he was even playing for the Los Angeles Clippers. Since that time, Noah has been out of the league.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Noah is ready to retire from the NBA, after 13 seasons of basketball. What makes this retirement interesting is the fact that Noah will most likely sign with the Bulls so that he can retire with Chicago.

It remains to be seen if this will simply be a one-day contract or if it will be a deal in which Noah will get to play with the team for the rest of the year. At this point, the deal has yet to be signed although new information should be coming down the pipeline.

Either way, this is good news for Noah who will get a touching sendoff to his NBA career.

Jay-Z’s Monogram Announces Nationwide Cannabis Law Awareness Campaign

When the record labels didn’t sign Jay, he launched Roc-A-Fella. When Cristal seemingly brushed off their Black consumers, Jay launched Ace Of Spades. And now, with the legalization of cannabis following the War On Drugs that disproportionately affects Black and Brown Americans, Jay launched Monogram as one of the few Black entrepreneurs in the cannabis industry. Today, Monogram announced a nationwide campaign that they’re launching to highlight the remnant effects of the War On Drugs and the lack of progress that’s actually been made.

The new campaign includes murals, billboards, mobile ads and wild-postings across cities like Washington, D.C., Miami, NYC, L.A., and San Francisco displaying fact-based headlines over images of eight individuals who’ve been charged for cannabis-related offenses.

“Cannabis laws are out of date and disproportionately cruel and punishing when compared to the rest of the legal code. We still don’t have proper regulation for texting and driving in Missouri, but staying home and smoking weed will get you locked up,” Jay said in a statement.

“I created this campaign to amplify the voices of those who have been penalized for the very same thing that venture capitalists are now prospering from with the emerging legal cannabis market,” he continued. “Far too often we forget that these are real people whose everyday lives and futures have been affected by this outdated legislature – people like Bryan Rone, who can no longer pursue a career in sales because of a cannabis-related conviction in 2003.”
