The Weeknd & Post Malone Are Over Their Exes On “One Right Now”

We’ve only received one single from Post Malone this year when “Motley Crew” arrived over the summer, and he has returned with a new collaboration alongside fellow superstar The Weeknd. Both artists seem to be carving out new phases of their careers and on Friday (November 5), the pair delivered “One Right Now.”

This is the first time the two singers have appeared on wax together and fans can’t get enough. We should be hearing much more from Post considering back in April, his manager reportedly shared that the singer planned on releasing two new projects. When fans could expect them remains a mystery. The Weeknd’s next album, rumored to be titled Dawn, is finished, said the XO icon last month.

Stream “One Right Now” and let us know your thoughts.

Quotable Lyrics

You’re a stain in my legacy
We can’t be friends, can’t be family (Oh)
You probably f*ck with my enemies
I can’t let you be next to me
Oh, you belong to the world now
So just me leave me alone now
We’ll never touch again

Ye Says The ‘Worst Thing I’ve Ever Done Was Sign Big Sean’ And Adds That He Is Not On Good Terms With Him Or John Legend

Just over two months after he released his tenth album Donda, Ye delivered his first full interview since the project was released through an appearance on N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN’s podcast, Drink Champs. The trio talked about a number of topics that included Donda, his presidential run, and his rocky marriage with Kim Kardashian, but comments about his former GOOD Music signees Big Sean and John Legend have caught many by surprise.

N.O.R.E. asked Ye to pick between Big Sean and Pusha T, two artists who have long been associated with his GOOD Music label. It’s here that Ye delivered harsh comments about Sean. “When I die, on my tombstone it’s gonna say: ‘I deserve to be here because I signed Big Sean,” Ye said. He continued, “I’m saying [that] the worst thing I’ve ever done was sign Big Sean.” After N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN delivered surprised reactions to his comments, Ye explained his reasoning behind the harsh statement.

“Nah man, look, I know this man mama bro, you know what I’m saying? I’ve changed this man’s family and both John Legend and Big Sean, when I ran for office, got used quick by the Democrats to come at their boy that actually changed their life and that’s some sellout sh*t.” He added, “I don’t rock with neither of them and I need my apologies. I ain’t saying they gonna change, but n****s is scared.”

After Sean presumably caught wind of Ye’s comments, he seemingly responded on Twitter with a slew of laughing emojis before directly addressing Ye. “Was just wit this man, he ain’t say none of that!!!” Sean said with two pictures of him, Ye, and Hit-Boy. “And this was after the interview! I’m dying laughing at you @kanyewest [laughing emoji].”

Kanye West Says The “Worst Thing” He Ever Did Was Sign Big Sean

The shenanigans have already begun now that Kanye West’s Drink Champs appearance has hit the internet. We’re only in the first moments of the episode and already clips are beginning to make the rounds. We’re kicking things off with a snippet shared by the L.A. Leakers where Kanye is seen speaking about Big Sean, and it was a mention that the Detroit rapper expected.

After the teaser trailer was released earlier today (November 4), Sean tweeted, “I just got asked to be on the next Drink Champs so I’m assuming Ye talkin [crying laughing emojis].” He was more correct than we’re sure he expected.

In the viral Drink Champs clip, Noreaga asked West, “Pusha [T] or Big Sean?” and the question seemed to light a fire under Ye.

“Oh, I love this!! Let me tell you,” West began before he got up and grabbed a “R.I.P.” headstone prop. “I already decided that when I die, on my tombstone it’s gonna stay, ‘I deserve to be here because I signed Big Sean.” The crowd erupted in laughter but it was clearly an uncomfortable moment. Still, Noreaga wanted to know Kanye’s answer to his question and interpreted the dramatics as West choosing Sean.

“No, I’m saying that the worst thing I’ve ever done is sign Big Sean,” answered West. Yet, still, Noreaga told everyone to clap because he misheard Ye’s answer, thinking he said “best.” When he learned what was actually said, Nore was shocked.

“Nah man, they let that—I know this man mana, bro,” said Ye. “You know what I’m saying? I changed this man family and both John Legend and Big Sean when I ran for office got used quick by the Democrats to combat they boy that actually changed they life. And that’s some sell-out sh*t and I don’t rock with neither of them and I need my apology.”

“N*ggas is scared.” Recently, Big Sean revealed that his time with Ye’s G.O.O.D. Music had come to an end. Check out the clip below.

Lil Durk Announces His New Album, ‘7220,’ And Promises ‘Anthems And No Skips’

Lil Durk has never been one to go too long without releasing a new project to his supporters. In fact, in the last five years, the Chicago rapper has dropped six mixtapes and five albums, including Voice Of The Heroes, his joint project with Lil Baby which they released earlier this year. Just months after that album arrived, Lil Durk is already preparing his next body of work. He teased it on his Instagram Story through an image of a whiteboard which revealed that its title would be 7220. He also captioned the image, “7220 coming soon,” adding, “The voice in album mode.” A message on the whiteboard promised the project would contain “anthems and no skips.”

Die-hard Durk fans pointed out that the album’s title is a part of Durk’s grandmother’s house, where he used to live with a number of his family members. The announcement comes after a string of guest appearances that the rapper shared over the past few months. He joined EST Gee on Moneybagg Yo’s “Switches & Dracs” and connected with G Herbo and 21 Savage for a remix of Nardo Wick’s “Who Want Smoke??” He also partied with Future in FaZe Kaysan’s video for “Made A Way.”

In news not related to music Durk has or will release, he previously announced that he will go back to school in order to receive his high school diploma. “I’m going to get my high school diploma,” he wrote on Twitter. “I want to challenge myself on my goals and real life situations.”

Tahiry Calls Joe Budden A “Woman Beater” But Claims He’s “Far From [Bisexual]”

The news heard ’round the internet had to do with Joe Budden’s sexuality. A clip of The Joe Budden Podcast was shared on the internet showing Budden saying he liked both men and women without context, causing social media users to run with the narrative. In reality, Budden and his co-hosts were discussing DaBaby’s mending fences with Rolling Loud and embarking on a tour hosted by festival organizers.

As Budden spoke about the LBTQIA+ organization clapping back at TMZ for allegedly misquoting their representative during their interview stating that they had forgiven DaBaby, Budden uttered the “I’m bisexual… Spread the word.” He wasn’t speaking about himself.

After going viral for allegedly being bisexual, Budden returned to acknowledge that the word had certainly been spread. Hours ago, his ex-girlfriend Tahiry José hopped on Twitter with commentary about the online moment, denying that Budden liked men sexually while also calling him out once again for allegedly being abusive.

Joey May be a women beater but far from Bi… and Vado better stop calling , DM’ing me and popping up to my old crib. I’m jus saying [yawn emoji],” she tweeted. Her romance with Budden was played out in excruciating detail on Love & Hip Hop many years ago. “Na, i would’ve known! We did things. & ’m submissive…. ONLY IN BED! So that’s a hard pass. No point intended. Lol.”

“I’ve put the past behind me….THANK YOU THERAPY…. Phone please stop ringing!!!! He’s a calculated person, a smart person, so smart , it’s hurts him a lot of the times! stay tuned!” She called the ruckus “click bait” but added if Budden wants to try new things, he should be able to. LaKeith Stanfield Suffered “Crippling Anxiety” While Filming “The Harder They Fall”

This week, The Harder They Fall hit Netflix, and to celebrate, Jay-Z joined Instagram. The Roc Nation mogul acted as one of the film’s producers and in addition to amassing millions of followers on Instagram in less than 24 hours, Hov hosted a party to celebrate the movie. The Harder They Fall stars Idris Elba, Regina King, and LaKeith Stanfield, and each of the entertainers has been posting about their anticipated feature.

Earlier today (November 4), Stanfield shared a video of himself on set where he was connecting with one of the horses. In the caption, he detailed his personal journey and being in a “bad space mentally” during production.

“I couldn’t see what life had in store to teach me about myself that i needed to know,” the actor wrote before detailing his experiences with the horses on set. “One day ‘magnolia’ (that wasn’t the horses name but i refused to not call him that in my head) bucked me off, and in that moment i heard him loud and clearly. BE STRONG OR GET OFF. I took control of the reigns and eventually we bonded so much so that it was emotional for me to leave the farm once i wrapped.”

He admired how the animals didn’t judge him and were “reliable and unconditional.”

Now all i had to do was learn to take control of my life in the same way. What better team to create such a profound memory with in J and the talented cast. There is a sadness in me if you look closely into the eyes of Cherokee. Everyday on set i was experiencing crippling anxiety and suffering silently inside. I would drink every night after work and try to laugh off my pain. The real Cherokee made me keep Fighting as i thought about how he had to fight to survive. How the youth in Chicago has to fight everyday to survive. Here’s to fighting through the trauma to get to myself. Here’s to almost 6 months sober. Here’s to the fact that the bigger the goal God has for them, the taller they stand and, The Harder They Fall.
