Derrick Milano & Ty Dolla $ign Sing About “Control” On Latest Release

Derrick Milano has already earned himself a Grammy Award for his co-writing efforts on Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage” (along with the Beyoncé remake), and now the 27-year-old has returned with a hit of his own.

On “Control,” Milano teams up with Ty Dolla $ign to sing about getting aggressive in the bedroom.

“She like her n*ggas in control (In control, woah), she like her n*ggas in control (In control, woah, ayy)/ She like aggressive shit (She like aggressive shit) say she like it rough, when n*ggas grab her neck and shit (Grab her neck and shit),” the track’s lyrics read.

Earlier this month, Milano also released the solo single, “die4iT,” which also has sultry and sexually explicit tones

Ty, on the other hand, has been seemingly riding the high of a series of collaborations, including the Cheers to the Best Memories album made with dvsn, and “Late to the Party” with Joyner Lucas.

Instagram Gallery: Megan Thee Stallion’s Most Fire Nails

Megan Thee Stallion’s booked and busy, and that remains just as true for her key nail tech, Coca Michelle.

The self-proclaimed visionary behind Tina Snow’s most creative and insane nail designs, the manicurist has also previously done nails for celebrities like Summer Walker, Normani, Jhene Aiko, Cardi B, and Rosalia. Michelle has been doing nails since she was six years old, thanks to the exposure provided by her family’s nail salon, and is the one responsible for the almost daily sets that Megan has been posting lately.

We’ve gathered a list of Megan’s best sets below.

Good News Set

This set was designed for Megan’s 2020 Good News album, and is worn by Megan on the album’s cover art. The intricate design includes Megan’s name etched out in bold, mimicking a headline, along with other impossibly small details that perfectly capture a copy of a print paper.

Rolling Loud Set

The manicurist crafted this neon, floral masterpiece for the rapper’s 2021 Rolling Loud Miami festival appearance, featuring neon flowers that complimented Megan’s bright orange fishnet fit. The singer coupled the nails with a bedazzled bra top, glittery orange eye makeup, and gold-orange rings.

Jade Jewelry Set

Michelle initially tried out this set on herself, posting the demo pictures on her Instagram. The two teamed up for a picture of their nails, showing off the unique clear, geometric jade-green vision, decked out with gold jewelry decals and finished off with white tips.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Set

Megan is widely known for her anime obsession and she has always been vocal on her Instagram about the latest shows she’s watching. She even cosplayed as Todoroki from My Hero Academia for her Paper Magazine cover. This set shows off one of her favorite anime, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, with the face of a different character from the show embedded on each finger. In an interview with Vogue, Michelle revealed how Megan and she formed a bond over their mutual love for anime, and how the singer put her onto the show, especially its Stardust Crusaders arc.

Hello Kitty Set

This Hello Kitty-inspired set flexes Coca’s versatility, as she takes a spin on the children’s cartoon show by adding in designer elements, such as the Chanel logo. The addition of super cute decals such as donuts, bows, and pearls displayed atop different pastel colors makes the set stand out.

Thermal Cam Set

Megan headed out to Atlanta in September sporting this set for the return of Music Midtown’s yearly festival. The blue and orange thermal cam nails matched the hot girl coach’s fit for the show, an orange “Hot Girl” crop top and metallic booty shorts.

Galaxy Set

Coca proves that not even the sky is the limit when it comes to her skills and creativity. The nail tech went hard on these galaxy nails, showcasing a different planet on each nail and countless stars and nebulas in beautiful splatters of blues, oranges, reds, and purples.

Spooky Set

The first set of many for the spookiest month of the year, Thee Stallion shows off her simple, but hard design. Square, classic white nails are coupled with a dripping blood design styled in a stiletto shape to look like blood on teeth.

X-Ray Set

Continuing on the spooky theme, this next set demonstrates Michelle’s knowledge of textures in an x-ray design. The almost glow-in-the-dark black and blue work of art features a different body part in x-ray, with a hand on each pinky, a skull on a middle finger, and a spine on an index.

Venom Set

Megan showed some love for Venom, the anti-hero from the Spider-Man franchise with this set. “This is probably my favorite anti-hero ever,” wrote Megan. The black and white nails capture the alien’s design with white polish used to mimic its liquid-like form. Decals include Venom’s bulging eyes, its sharp, pointy teeth, and signature slimy pink tongue.

Young Thug Brings ‘Punk’ To ‘SNL’ With Electric Performances Of ‘Tick Tock’ And ‘Love You More’

The music world is currently enjoying Young Thug’s second album Punk as the rapper released it on Friday. He first announced the project two years ago, which came less than a week after he released his debut So Much Fun. After previewing songs at Miami’s Rolling Loud festival and during his NPR Tiny Desk, the rapper released Punk with just a slight delay. To further promote the project, Young Thug brought his talents to Saturday Night Live for a pair of electric performances.

Thug started the night with a brief performance of “Tick Tock,” the promotional single the rapper released prior to Punk. It came with the presence of a live band that featured Travis Barker on drums who ended it with an energetic drum solo. Later on in the night, Thug returned to the stage to perform “Love You More” with Gunna as well as Nate Ruess from the bands Fun and The Format. Travis Barker was also on drums for this performance while Ruess covered the song’s hook and Gunna delivered a verse of his own.

Altogether, Punk presents 20 songs and additional appearances from Drake, Future, J. Cole, Travis Scott, Gunna, Doja Cat, T-Shyne, Bslime, Post Malone, ASAP Rocky, Lil Double 0, and Jeff Bashker.

You can watch the performances in the videos above.

Punk is out now via 300 Entertainment/Atlantic Records. Get it here.

Young Thug Rides Out To The Ms On “Road Rage”

Young Thug announced Punk two years ago, shortly after releasing his official studio debut, So Much Fun. The lengthy wait for the album’s release left fans with much anticipation, though, projects like Slime Language 2 and Slime & B with Chris Brown effectively held fans over until Punk dropped.

The tracklist is stacked with features from Drake, J. Cole, Gunna, Future, and even the late Mac Miller. Many of his collaborators join the ever-eccentric world of Thugger but the rapper himself pushes the boundaries of his universe even further on Punk. “Road Rage,” for example,” finds Thug diving into his desires to obtain wealth by any means. With Taurus and prodbysmo handling the dreamy production on the track, Thugger showcases how he’s manifested his dreams of buying a Corvette to crashing it, only to purchase another one.

Hotboii Takes A Shot At His Enemies On “All The Opps”

Coming out of Orlando, Florida, Hotboii has been impressing his fans with a plethora of dope high-energy tracks that speak on a variety of topics, including gang culture, money, jewelry, and any other hedonistic tendencies. His drops have always been consistent, and this past week, he delivered for his fans as he dropped the brand new song “All The Opps.”

As you will immediately notice, this song is incredibly catchy and features that energy we all know Hotboii for. Throughout the track, the artist takes aim at his opps and disses them in some pretty creative ways. From bad music to being simps, Hotboii has a lot to say about those who oppose him. Overall, this makes for a great song, that can be streamed below.

Quotable Lyrics:

All the opps music straight garbage, I need ear plugs
All the opps broke as hell, ain’t hard to get no income
All the opps be beefing ’bout a bitch and then forgive her
All the opps would be relevant, probably if I dissed them

Dwayne Johnson Is “Brutal & Uncompromising” As “Black Adam” In New First Look

After the DC FanDome event this weekend, superhero fans have a lot to look forward to. Not only were we give the highly anticipated trailer to The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz, but we were also given a first look at Dwayne Johnson in his new role of Black Adam.

“Ladies and gents… Enjoy your WORLD EXCLUSIVE first look,” the 49-year-old tweeted yesterday. “He is ruthless. He is unstoppable. He is the reason the hierarchy of power in the DC UNIVERSE is about to change.”

The four minute clip begins with an intro from Pierce Brosnan, who plays Dr. Fate in the film. “I’ve never seen the likes of it before,” he says. “Having done James Bond for ten years, four films, nothing compares to this.

Black Adam also stars Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, and Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher.

Speaking on his co-star, and the leader of the pack, Johnson, Hodge said, “he’s more brutal, uncompromising, fuelled by the depths of his pain — he’s Black Adam.”

We then get to hear some words from the Man in Black himself. “As you guys know, this character, this film, this universe, have been a gigantic passion project of mine for a very long time.”

“The truth is, I was born to play Black Adam,” the actor said with confidence, before sharing that the film is currently in post-production, and of course, giving fans a sneak peek at the intensity that will be coming their way when Johnson takes the big screen.

The movie is set to hit theatres on July 29th, 2022. See the first look from the DC FanDome in the clip below.

Jamila Woods & Peter Cottontale Link Up For Lovely New Track “WYD”

Peter Cottontale is a master of r&b production all while Jamila Woods is one of the most interesting singer-songwriters out there. With that in mind, it should be no surprise that they would want to come together and deliver a truly enticing collaboration that would get fans excited. On Friday, that is exactly what they delivered with the brand new track “WYD (You Got Me)” which features both artists at their best creatively.

The track sees Woods starting things off with a verse about a relationship in which the two partners always have each other’s back. They are so in tune with one another that they know when the other is sad or unhealthy, which leads to a beautiful pairing. Peter Cottontale enters the track with some high-pitched vocals that ultimately work well within the instrumental. Overall, this makes for a great collaborative track, and you can check it out, below.

This Wilt Chamberlain Highlight Reel Has NBA Fans In Awe

Wilt Chamberlain is one of those players who young NBA fans simply cannot comprehend. When you look at his career averages, you quickly realize that he was one of the best scorers to ever play the game. Unfortunately, due to the era in which he operated, his talents are sometimes undermined. In fact, you can’t go one day on Twitter without someone trying to question Wilt’s infamous 100-point game and whether or not it was legitimate.

Thankfully, some of the doubts surrounding Wilt were put to rest yesterday as a 4K HD colorized video of some of Wilt’s best highlights made its way to the internet. As you can see down below, Wilt was nothing short of dominant as he hit fadeaway jumpers all while making defenders look pretty silly.

For many, this was the first time they got to see HD Wilt highlights like this, and it turned out to be quite the experience. As you can see in some of the tweets below, fans were impressed, although some still believe Chamberlain is a myth. For instance, there are still some questioning the validity of these defenders. On the flipside of that, many are convinced that Wilt could dominate in this era, especially at 7’1″.

Let us know what you thought of the highlight package, in the comments section down below.
