Chlöe Explains Why She Deleted Sexy Lollipop-Licking Video

Since she’s begun working on her career as a solo artist, fans have been seeing a much sexier side of Chlöe. The singer has spoken about the controversies that sometimes plague her regarding her racy posts, but she faced a viral moment last month after she uploaded a lollipop licking video to her Instagram. In it, she gave a thank you message to her supporters, but soon, the post was deleted.

The “Have Mercy” hitmaker faced backlash as people claimed she was doing a bit too much to push the envelop, and while Chlöe didn’t address her critics at the time, she recently caught up with Charlamagne Tha God on his show, Tha God’s Honest Truth, where she spoke about her sexy post.

“You know, honestly, in the beginning, it didn’t affect me,” she said. “I’m human, of course, it affects me sometimes, but the reason why I deleted it wasn’t ’cause of what people were saying. It’s just, I didn’t want people to just go to my page and see that. You know, social media is whatever. I’m 23, I’m a grown woman and I think it’s so cool how we can find ourselves. And I’m finding myself right now and figuring out what serves me best.”

She added, “I’m just doing it under a microscope while you all get to do it without anyone watching.” Check out Chlöe’s clip below.

Bow Wow Reacts To Twitter User’s Drake Comparison: “2 Diff Styles. Diff Artist”

They’ve been friends for a decade and have witnessed one another’s triumphant moments in the industry. Bow Wow and Drake have long spoken well of each other with praise, so it did not come as a surprise that Bow shut down a social media user who attempted to compare the two. Earlier this year, the rappers joined together for a celebration and uploaded a few posts to show their style, and in one clip, Drake gave Bow his flowers.

“If it wasn’t for you, it wouldn’t be no me,” said Drake at the time. “That’s why I’mma rock with y’all forever.”

We’re not sure how Bow Wow came across a particular Tweet from October, but in it, a person wrote, “Bow Wow was the original drake.” Usually, Bow takes these sorts of opinions with a grain of salt or even cracks jokes about them, but this time, he was pretty clear that he and his fellow famous friend aren’t even in the same lane.

“2 diff styles. Diff artist. Diff fan base,” he replied. “I just dont see the comparisons this am. Where is this coming from.” While a screenshot of this response made the rounds, over on Bow Wow’s page, a different reaction is posted.

“Thats my dawg. But i dont think we are similar in music. Plus the age in which we both started. If I’m wrong correct me,” he said in this version. Check it out below and let us know if those Drake and Bow Wow comparisons are valid.

Kanye West Publicist Allegedly Pressured Election Worker To Confess To Voter Fraud

As Kanye West is being applauded for bringing back his classics at the Free Larry Hoover concert, a woman reported to be a publicist for the rapper has been named in a peculiar controversy. This week, it was reported that Trevian Kutti appeared at 62-year-old election worker Ruby Freeman’s doorstep with outrageous allegations about fraudulent behavior. Freeman was one of several election workers in Georgia who reportedly signed up to help count absentee ballots, and Kutti alleged that she was in danger.

Freeman didn’t take Kutti at face value because she had already experienced harassment and threats from people from the far right, so instead, she called authorities and told Kutti to meet her at a police station. Kutti agreed.

That’s where video footage was reportedly collected thanks to an officer’s bodycam.

“We didn’t want to frighten you, but we had to find you in this time frame,” Kutti told Freeman, adding the election worker needed to be “put in placement a way to move you, a way to secure you, from what may be secured over the next 48 hours… We have probably have 48 hours in which to move you,” Kutti added. “We would do it on your schedule. I cannot say specifically what will take place. I just know that it will disrupt your freedom and the freedom of one or more of your family members.”

Business Insider reports:

Kutti then said she would call a communications consultant named Harrison Ford to talk specifics and asked the officer for privacy. After the officer recording the bodycam footage walked away, Freeman told Reuters that Kutti and the man pressured Freeman to confess to voter fraud. Freeman recalled Kutti saying, “If you don’t tell everything, you’re going to jail.”

On January 6, the day of the infamous insurrection on the capital, Freeman claimed that a group of protestors arrived at her home. Thankfully, she had already vacated the property after being notified by the FBI that she had been targeted by former President Donald Trump’s supporters. For her safety, she stayed in hiding for months by reportedly living in Airbnbs and “avoiding using credit cards that could pinpoint her location.”

Kutti reportedly also told Freeman that “crisis is my thing” and she was there trying to “tidy up” a “loose end.” It is unclear if there is an investigation into this interaction, as Kutti’s appearance being just two days before the January 6 insurrection has raised eyebrows.

Ashanti Shuts Down Rumors She’s Dating Flo Rida: “That’s My Brother”

It has been a rumor that has plagued Ashanti for years, but the singer is setting the record straight. True, long-lasting friendships are hard to come by in the industry, but according to Ashanti, people have things all wrong with their assessment of her relationship with Flo Rida. For years, the pair have been photographed at events, birthday parties, and even exotic vacations, and with each social media reveal, the public has gossiped about the nature of their relationship.

However, while visiting The Breakfast Club, Ashanti once again cleared up the rumors by explaining why people have been getting the wrong idea.

DJ Envy teased the singer about posting those vacation photos with Flo Rida, but she explained that he’s like her “brother.” Apparently, their teams and entourages get along as well, so they often appear at the same family-style, celebratory events.

“Let the people know Ashanti is not with Flo Rida,” she said. “Be clear! That’s my brother. Me and Flo are super cool… We’ve been going to each other’s birthday parties for like, ten years. So, I don’t know why it’s like, such a surprise.”

This isn’t the first time the singer has corrected speculation about a potential romance with the rapper. Back in April, she jumped in The Shade Room‘s comment section with similar remarks. Check out Ashanti clearing the air below.

Tank Reacts To Joe Budden Calling New Generation Of Male R&B Artists “Trash”

The current state of R&B is once again a hot topic thanks to The Joe Budden Podcast. In recent years, artists, critics, and fans have discussed the evolution of the genre, and while there is plenty of talent in the industry, many have been quite judgmental. Disapproving comments have included criticisms about R&B being boring and not having as much sonic diversity as earlier generations—specifically the 1990s and 2000s—but Joe Budden suggested that things are going pretty well, albeit the women are outshining the men.

He had a significant amount of people cosign his sentiments, however, R&B icon Tank came through with a message for the rapper-turned-podcast host.

“Joe, Joseph. Don’t do this,” Tank said in a video. “My friend, my brother, don’t you do this. Don’t you sit up there and say the new generation of male R&B artists is trash. Don’t you do that. Just say the women are having a moment. Just give them their flowers without trying to put us in the grave. Well, not us, I’m old. But still, just give their flowers.”

Tank mentioned a few names like Brent Faiyaz, Giveon, and Yung Bleu, telling Budden not to call them “trash.” He added that women should be celebrated without tearing down their peers. Check it out below and let us know if you agree or disagree with Budden’s take.

French Montana Visits Capitol Hill To Discuss Opioid Crisis With Officials

Substance abuse has run rampant through the Hip Hop community. We’ve lost several artists over the years to accidental overdoses, while others have watched their careers fold due to their addictions. Those who have survived harrowing experiences have come forward to share their stories, including French Montana who was hospitalized back in 2019.

Since that time, the rapper has shared that he has decided to live a healthier, more sober lifestyle, and he’s taking his concerns about opioid abuse to Capitol Hill.

“He wanted to come here to talk about the opioid epidemic sweeping through the country, especially disproportionately hitting the African American community,” Mike Rubino, a representative for Montana, told The Hill. He added that French spoke “very candidly about his own sobriety” while also detailing his new effort, Pure.

Rubino said the effort will mirror how Montana “managed to get sober and it’s for people that want to get sober in a more unconventional way that doesn’t involve taking more drugs.”

“He’s also spoken to people about immigration as an issue as a naturalized citizen,” the representative. “He went through the entire process and just feels that there’s an onerous burden put on people who want to do things the right way and it’s too long and lengthy of a process.”

Additionally, Montana spoke with several politicians during 13 meetings about how he can maximize his platform to help spread awareness about pressing issues. Those officials included “Reps. Shontel Brown (D-O.H.), Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.), Dina Titus (D-Nev.), Susie Lee (D-Nev.), Kathleen Rice (D-N.Y.), Ritchie Torres (D-N.Y.), Byron Donald (R-Fla.), Ben Cline (R-Va.), Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.) and Adriano Espaillat (D-N.Y.). He also met with Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.).”

Asian Doll Announces Jackboy Breakup: “SINGLE”

There was speculation that this romance was on the rocks, but Asian Doll retorted that her relationship with Jackboy was set in stone. The pair only recently revealed their pairing publicly, and it was the first relationship that Asian Doll has shared with the world since the passing of King Von. Since his murder a little over a year ago, Asian Doll has continued to pay tribute and declare her love for the slain rapper.

Although Doll and Jackboy have been relatively private about the ins and outs of their romance, she has often caused viral moments by mentioning the Florida artist.

At one point, she suggested that she wanted to “tie the knot” and later, she teased about having sex with her beau. However, Doll returned to Twitter this evening to make an announcement about her relationship status.

“SINGLE [celebration emojis] It’s time to live it up a lil mo,” she wrote. Her fans flooded her mentions with questions, but many were happy to see that she was once again single because they believe it will bring a different side out of Asian Doll from this point on. The rapper didn’t reveal what led to the breakup, but fans may receive a hint in the days to come.

Anheuser-Busch Is Discontinuing Travis Scott’s Cacti Hard Seltzer

Over the last couple years, the world of hard seltzer was exploding with new additions. It seemed like every time you turned around, another brand had launched their own version, including several celebrity-backed options. One of which was Travis Scott’s Cacti hard seltzer, which he announced last winter and we gave a full review of this summer. Up until the last few months, it seemed like the seltzer was just another extension of Travis’ many brand collabs, like his McDonalds deal or the merch that went along with it.

But today, in a statement reported by AdAge, the seltzer’s backer Anheuser-Busch has announced the drink will be no more. It’s likely that the move is due to the continuing fallout from Scott’s Astroworld festival, which tragically left nine concertgoers dead due to trampling and crowd control issues.

“After careful evaluation, we have decided to stop all production and brand development of Cacti Agave Spiked Seltzer,” Anheuser-Busch said in a statement. “We believe brand fans will understand and respect this decision.” Though asked directly if the decision was due to the events at Astroworld, the brewer declined to comment further, and so far, Scott hasn’t issued a comment about the decision either.

Slim 400 Murder Prompts Fears Of Gang Retaliation, Claims Police: Report

The loved ones of Slim 400 continue to pay tribute to the slain rapper as Los Angeles investigators search for his killer. It was in 2019 when the Compton rapper was shot nine times in a drive-by, and after spending weeks in the hospital, he was back to giving interviews, this time about his near-death experience.

Sadly, news circulated earlier this week that Slim 400 was once again the victim of a brazen attack, however, this time it was captured on video.

The clip, which can be found online, shows the front of a residence where Slim looks to be standing in a driveway before someone walks up and opens fire. The rapper lunges at his attacker and although the footage is difficult to see, Slim 400 grabs hold of his assailant as the shooter attempts to flee.

It is also being reported that police in L.A. fear that this shooting will prompt retaliation, thus launching some sort of gang war. According to TMZ, authorities believe that Slim wasn’t targeted, but they do think that the shooting was gang-related. Tensions have allegedly been high, claims TMZ, and Slim may have been in the wrong place at the wrong time.

We continue to offer our sincerest condolences to Slim 400’s loved ones.

Travis Scott’s Hard Seltzer CACTI Discontinued: Report

It seems that Travis Scott and his team thought that his intimate interview with Charlamagne Tha God would be helpful, but it, in turn, created more of a mess for the rapper. Scott has been under fire following the tragedy at Astroworld as people have accused him of ignoring the pleas of suffering fans in the audience. Ten people would lose their lives in the chaos and dozens of others were injured, and while Scott has expressed grief over what occurred, he has not accepted responsibility.

Upwards of two thousand people have sued Scott and several others in connection with the tragedy, and the rapper continues to suffer the consequences now that is being reported that he has suffered another business loss.

According to TMZ, Scott’s hard seltzer beverage CACTI has been discontinued by Anheuser-Busch. The company reportedly stated, “After careful evaluation, we have decided to stop all production and brand development of CACTI Agave Spiked Seltzer. We believe brand fans will understand and respect this decision.”

A “source” stated that this decision is not a cancelation, but Scott and Anheuser-Busch agree back in November to end the partnership mutually.

Scott’s rep reportedly issued a statement that read: “Travis was clear in his interview that he is not focused on business right now and his priority is helping his community and fans heal. CACTI asked AB InBev to inform their wholesalers there will not be product at this time.”
