LeBron James Gifts Offset Signed Sneakers & Lobos Tequila For His 30th Birthday

As of last week, two-thirds of the iconic Atlanta rap trio Migos are officially 30 years old. On Tuesday, December 14, Offset became the second Migos member to reach the age of 30, and a week later, the FATHER OF 4 artist is still being showered with presents from his friends and loved ones.

Earlier on Wednesday, it was reported that Cardi B gave her husband and close collaborator a gift that most people couldn’t even dream of: a $2 million check. Judging from Offset’s Instagram story, that’s not all that he got for his birthday because apparently, LeBron James also sent him an incredible gift as well.

According to TMZ, the Los Angeles Laker star gave Offset a big bottle of Lobos tequila and a pair of all-white Nike Air Force 1s, with both pairs donning LeBron’s hand-written signature. It’s unclear from Offset’s story if there is significance behind LeBron’s decision to send him a new pair of Air Force 1s, but the four-time NBA champion’s signature is an incredibly nice touch.

The Migos rapper is a well-documented sneakerhead, so fans will have to wait and see if Offset rocks or stocks his LeBron James-signed Air Force 1s. Check out the video of Offset’s new sneakers here. Considering that no one will likely top Cardi B’s gift of two million dollars, do you think that LeBron came through with a good gift?

Tommy Fury Divulges On His Desire To Fight Jake Paul

Tommy Fury was supposed to fight Jake Paul on Saturday, however, he backed out due to a broken rib and a chest infection. Instead, Jake got to fight Tyron Woodley, where he eventually won via sixth round knockout. It was a pretty bad fight for the first five rounds, although in the end, Jake prevailed.

Fury was forced to watch the fight from home, and in a recent interview with “The Unibet Lowdown,” Fury explained what he would have done had he been in the ring. As you can see, he was studying the match very closely.

“I would have been smashing the jabs out there and fold up with the right — he just wouldn’t have been there because it was that bad. It was a bad, terrible fight,” Fury explained.

Fury went on to say that he hopes to be able to return by March of next year. In fact, Fury is dead set on fighting Jake Paul, as he wants to prove to the world that he can defeat the YouTube star.

“I’ll do anything possible to speed up this recovery process because the quicker speed to get better, the quicker I get into the ring and get this fight done,” Fury said. “Everybody wants to see this fight. You wanna proclaim yourself as a boxer. Stop calling out UFC people. Come and fight me.”

It remains to be seen whether or not a fight will happen between Jake and Tommy, so stay tuned to HNHH for any updates.

Roddy Ricch Reveals He Almost Called Himself “Lil Bird”

When an artist chooses to take that next step with their career and start to release music, they need to brand themselves appropriately. If your legal name doesn’t have a nice ring to it, then you may need to get creative and find something that helps prospective fans learn more about you. Before Roddy Ricch was Roddy Ricch, he was Roderick Wayne Moore Jr. But before he became a multi-platinum artist, there was a slight chance that the rapper would call himself something completely different. He revealed his almost-name in a new interview with Big Boy.

When asked what other names he considered before settling on Roddy Ricch, the rapper admitted that he tried out “Lil Bird” for a brief period of time.

“Like, from bird?” asked Big Boy.

“Yeah, Lil Bird,” confirmed Roddy.

“Damn, you was like, ‘man, eff this lil stuff,’ you know what I’m saying?,” said Big Boy.

“Nah, I still go by it sometimes!” replied Roddy.

He didn’t clarify exactly who calls him “Lil Bird” but it might be a family nickname or something that his friends gave him when he was younger.

Do you think he ultimately went the right way by choosing Roddy Ricch over Lil Bird? And do you think he would have experienced similar success as Lil Bird?

Vincent Jackson’s Cause Of Death Revealed

Former NFL star Vincent Jackson passed away at the age of 38 this past year in February. It was a truly tragic loss that had many football fans in shock. After Jackson had gone missing, his family asked authorities to go looking for him, and eventually, they found him in a hotel room where he had been dead for a few hours. It was a truly sad loss, and since that time, the family has been searching for answers.

Just last week, Jackson’s wife revealed that he actually had Stage 2 CTE. Of course, CTE is no joke and it has claimed the lives of various football players. According to TMZ, the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner did an autopsy on Jackson, and today, the official cause of death was revealed.

Jackson died of natural causes brought on by chronic alcoholism. Alcohol abuse can put tremendous strain on your system, and unfortunately, it ultimately led to Jackson’s death. This is something we have seen a lot of when it comes to players suffering from CTE, and it is tragic to see yet another athlete succumb to such a terrible brain disease.

Our thoughts go out to Jackson’s entire family during this difficult time.

NoCap Acknowledges His “Flaws” On New Single

NoCap has been going strong this year. Even as we enter Christmas week, he’s not taking any moment from granted, especially after his recent stint behind bars. It feels like each week, he has a new single out and continues to climb to the top along with the Never Broke Again crew.

NoCap’s YouTube page remains a goldmine for his fans to find loose tracks. Though several of his loose singles have made it to DSPs, the rapper’s found success in releasing one-offs onto YouTube. This week, he delivered a new track titled, “Flaws.” The production is a change of pace, tackling hollow R&B vocal samples with pain-fueled melodies as he offers a portrait of self-reflection.

Check out the single below and sound off in the comments.

We don’t walk through TSA when the jet here
I think it’s my second time being here

JoJo Siwa Nearly Gets Tackled By Jae Crowder At Lakers Game

You never know who you might see sitting courtside at a Los Angeles Lakers home game. As that remains a fact of life, it’s also apparent that when you’re seated courtside at said Lakers game, you never know what might happen to you as you watch the game.

Entertainer JoJo Siwa was seated with her friends at Tuesday night’s game against the Phoenix Suns, which resulted in yet another disappointing loss for the LeBron James-led squad. When the game was still in reach during the first quarter, a loose ball was heading toward the first row of the courtside area after a flunked alley-oop attempt from Rajon Rondo to James. Jae Crowder hustled to retrieve the ball, attempting to keep it in play before it was ruled out of bounds, and in doing so, he nearly tackled JoJo Siwa and her friends.

Crowder found a tiny hole next to Siwa and narrowly avoided her, but he hit the ground hard. He ended up being alright, getting back up immediately. Siwa had a big smile on her face after the incident, seemingly in disbelief that she was almost wiped out by a man triple her size.

Check out the footage below. Next time you’re sitting courtside at a game, you better be aware at all times because this could happen to you.

Congress Is Investigating Live Nation’s Role In The Astroworld Tragedy

Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino received an open letter this morning from Congress asking to talk and provide documents about the Astroworld tragedy. In the letter from the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, Representatives said that “We are deeply saddened by the deaths that occurred at Astroworld Festival and are committed to investigating what went wrong to inform possible reforms that could prevent future tragedies.”

It’s the next wrinkle in the aftermath of the devastating Astroworld crowd control incident on November 5th that led to 10 attendees losing their lives. Live Nation was the promoter of the event along with Travis Scott and they’ve already raised eyebrows this week for news that they reportedly tried to get part-time staff at the festival to sign liability waivers after the fact. Here are the questions that Congress is seeking to get answers from Rapino and LiveNation about the event:

1. Please provide a narrative detailing the roles and responsibilities for Astroworld
Festival, including, but not limited to, venue security, crowd control,mass
casualty incident planning, emergency communications, and medical care,
between Live Nation Entertainment, its subsidiaries, partners, and subcontractors;

2. Describe any pre-show security assessments, planning, and briefings conducted
by Live Nation Entertainment or its partners, subsidiaries, or subcontractors,
including any details regarding any safety concerns raised prior to the
performance;

3. Please provide details regarding Live Nation Entertainment’s actions in response
to same-day reports of fans breaking through security barriers;

4. What precise time was Live Nation Entertainment first made aware of casualties
on the evening of November 5, and what steps were taken in response to that
information;

5. What precise time was Live Nation Entertainment first made aware that law
enforcement had declared the event a “mass casualty event,” and what actions did
Live Nation Entertainment take between that report and the performance’s
termination at approximately 10:10 p.m.;

6. Please share your assessment of the cause of the stampede and whether it could
have been prevented;

7. Please address reports that Live Nation has withheld pay from Astroworld
employees until they have signed revised employment contracts that release Live
Nation from liability; and

8. What steps does Live Nation plan to take to prevent another injury or death at a
promoted or held event.

What happened at Astroworld was an inexcusable, colossal fail that someone has to be liable for. It looks as though Congress not only wants to address that liability, but they also want to outline steps so that something of this nature never happens again.
