SZA is no stranger to discussing the zodiac signs, which ones she likes, and how their shifting alignment affects her. In fact, she’s one of the definitive astrology girls in popular music and often gets asked about it in interviews and online by fans. That was the case during another recent interview when she was asked which of her songs correlated with what signs. The answers she gave have her fans debating and some are even left offended by the choices.
Most of the songs she chose are from her newest album SOS with the exception of two from her 2017 album CTRL. CTRL opener “Supermodel” is her pick for Sagittarius while the Travis Scott-featuring cut “Love Galore” is assigned to Libras. Some of the most unique and standout tracks on SOS pop up on SZA’s list. The pop-punk flavored “F2F” is perfectly matched with Aries. The Phoebe Bridgers-featuring “Ghost In The Machine” turns up as her official Aquarius anthem. “Gone Girl” represents both Taurus and Virgo. By all accounts, Snoop Dogg is a legendary figure in the Hip Hop scene. Evidently, his legacy coherently speaks for him. The iconic Libra was born on October 20, 1971, and has been a major influence on many rappers after him. Lil Kim has paved the way for many other women after her. In addition to this, she serves as the most significant musical influence for many female rappers today. Her slick flow, lyricism, and feminist approach to rap have made her an exemplary legend. Beyond the music, Lil Kim is a fashion icon. Her bold, luxurious, risqué, and innovative style choices inspired many female rappers’ outfits today.
Pop Smoke’s career was short-lived, but he remains one of the most famous rappers who are Cancers. He was born Bashar Barakah Jackson in Brooklyn on July 20, 1999. Even iconic rapper Nas referenced GloRilla and her viral track in his own song, specifically mentioning her by name in the bonus track “Til My Last Breath” from his album King’s Disease III, where he raps about her and their connection. However, the success of “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” came with its share of drama. GloRilla faced legal issues with Hitkidd, who criticized her on Twitter, claiming that she and her team attempted to gain full ownership of the song. Despite the challenges, GloRilla’s life improved after the release, and now she expresses her criticism of those who believe in marriage, aligning with the lyrics of “F.N.F. (Let’s Go).”

Fans have waited for this album for almost two years, but it looks like the stars had other plans for it. Moreover, Saweetie recently placed partial blame on her zodiac sign for her album delay, which was originally going to drop in June of 2021. During an E! News interview on Monday (March 20), she addressed the consistent postponement of her debut album Pretty B***h Music. As of late, a lot of the conversation around Saweetie regards rumors of her relationships with other rappers. While it’s always at least curious, it’s also disappointing to see her reduced to who she spends her time with, especially given that the rumors concern other colleagues and collaborators in the industry. In fact, it’s something that she addressed on The Single Life on the track “Don’t Say Nothin’,” where her lyrics question why “always speakin’ on who I’m f***in’ on.” In addition, the real disappointment about all these conversations is that she’s building a happy and healthy relationship with Quavo.
With all that in mind, it’s actually not entirely unbelievable that the California rapper would want some time to process things. Sure, her success has been stellar, but often might be bogged down by the extracurriculars of fame and being a female rapper in the industry. Whether it’s for her sales or her relationships, she faced opposition at many turns. Hopefully her debut album will be exactly what she wants it to be, and makes a splash upon its release.
