Bleu And Nicki Minaj Have ‘Love In The Way’ On Their New Collaboration

Bleu is back with another afro-fusion banger. Joined by Nicki Minaj, a longtime dream collaborator of his, Bleu attempts to move on from a past relationship. The only issue is, that memories of Bleu’s ex keep getting in the way.

“Baby, your love in the way / But don’t stop it, just keep doin’ what you do / How could I move with your love in my way? / It hurts to love again, and it’s all because of you / ‘Cause baby, your love in the way,” he sings on the song’s infectious, bouncy chorus.

Known for her clever wordplay and sharp pen game, Minaj opens the song with a quick, catchy verse, rapping, “You blew it / I could tell you knew it / But you was like ‘Screw it’ / and I guess I’m fluid’ / Cause I was like, ‘F*ck you and them b*tches included’ / ‘Cause I was goin’ through it / Ain’t nothin’ more to it.”

As the song promises to be an instant hit, it is the result of manifestation. Bleu spoke the collaboration with Minaj into existence over a year ago via Twitter.

Bleu has previously collaborated with Drake and Lil Wayne, making his recent collaboration with Minaj a completion of Young Money’s iconic leading trinity.

Bleu And Nicki Minaj Announce A New Collaboration, ‘Love In The Way’

Bleu has something special cooking up. This Friday, the “Your Mines Still” singer is set to drop a new single with Nicki Minaj, titled “Love In The Way.” The two announced the collaboration via social media today.

The song arrives just over a year after Bleu manifested the track via Twitter. “I would love to work with [these artists] in the future,” Bleu said. “I like speaking things in existence, it seems to work.” Among his dream collaborators were The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, Anthony Hamilton, and Rihanna, but at the top of his list was none other than Minaj.

As his latest collab may suggest, Bleu has become a go-to guest in the realm of Young Money. In June, he was featured alongside Lil Wayne on a Chris Brown track called “Possessive,” from his most recent album, Breezy. In 2020, his remix of “Your Mines Still,” which featured Drake, proved to be a viral hit.

In an interview with DJ Akademiks, he credited Drake for helping him land a bigger deal at Empire Recordings.

“That’s when I started seeing them real numbers,” he said. “Just to put it into perspective, as soon as the Drake record dropped, I was having bidding wars between $8 and $9 million…This is why I f*ck with Empire because they still had me for another project, so once I did the Drake song, they came back and redid my deal to way more.”

“Love In The Way” is out 9/16 via Empire. Pre-save it here.

RealmuzikSK Teams Up With Yung Bleu For Collab EP ‘Up A Level’ and “Pain” Video

There is little doubt that your work will be seen by your peers if it has already been aired on BET and MTV. RealmuzikSK has been doing a lot of that recently, so it’s no surprise that Yung Bleu chose to jump on board with his latest EP, Up A Level.

The EP comes with a video for “Pain,” which features both Yung Bleu and RealmuzikSK this tune in particular is a standout song, taking listeners through a breakup story about betrayal and the agony that comes with it.

Realmuzik, a native of Amite City, Louisiana, has had a rocky road, having encountered homelessness after dropping out of school at the age of 16. He has faced the anguish and battle to subsist while pursuing a musical career rather than a formal degree, yet despite this, he creates Hip Hop that truly reaches the soul.

“My upbringing played a major role in who I am today,” he says. “Lessons I learned from family, the streets and people in my circle are very valuable to who I am.”

Up A Level captures that feeling and includes three tracks that demonstrate his limitless potential. With Pit Bull, Mo3, K. Michelle, Shaggy, Johnny Taylor, Wiz Khalifa, and Rick Ross as influences, the EP is an example of an artist running his own race, and with Yung Bleu in the mix, Realmuzik is bound to come out on top.
