Big Sean Accused Of Biting Baby Keem But OG Fans Know The Truth

Big Sean is currently causing a debate indirectly with his recent single, “Yes”. According to Billboard, the second teaser track to the upcoming album Better Me Than You got its music video yesterday afternoon. Apparently, some Baby Keem fans caught wind of the Big Sean visuals and got to listening and watching. After presumably dissecting it intently, they are coming to the conclusion that the Detroit MC is biting heavily off the pgLang signee’s rap style. They aren’t exactly pointing to what aspects Sean is pulling from. However, we are assuming it has something to do with the zany and high-pitch bits he sprinkles into his delivery.

Outside of that, we feel this is pretty original Sean. We are definitely getting some Dark Sky Paradise vibes, especially with the black and white visuals for this track in particular. Additionally, we can hear the song “Paradise” all day long. Listen to those two songs back to back and tell us what you think.

Big Sean’s Latest Single Has Fans (Wrongfully) Accusing Him Of Stealing Baby Keem’s Flow

I’ve been trying to take it easy on Gen Z, I really have. You guys have had it hard. But you know what? Sometimes, you are your own worst enemies. Like today, when some of you accused Big Sean of biting Baby Keem‘s flow, despite the former having been around and using the same flow for over a decade and a half before you even learned the latter existed. All of recorded human knowledge in the palm of your hand, and you choose to be wrong AND loud about it. Not very demure, not very mindful.

It all started when fan account @rapalert6 shared a clip from Sean’s new video, “Yes,” on Twitter (which we all agree will never actually be called X, right?). Users began to respond with goofy statements like, “We really live in a world where baby keem has 40 year old sons,” and “Kendrick and Baby Keem bout to send Big Sean a cease and desist.”

Oof.

Of course, there were plenty of other users who were quick to set the record straight. “Y’all showing your age thinking Big Sean stole that from baby Keem, Big Sean been doing that for 10+ years,” wrote one. Another noted, “17 year olds who never heard ‘Paradise’ are saying he biting Baby Keem when he’s actually the one these rappers copy.”

Big Sean’s flow has been the subject of controversy for much of his career (no, he doesn’t “rap off beat,” yes, everybody and their mom stole HIS flow from “Supa Dupa,” he doesn’t seem to have beef with Kendrick Lamar, and that would be a closer contest than many are willing to admit), but this time, the fans have gone too far.

Big Sean Drops Grim Visuals For “Yes” Single

If things check out, we should be receiving Big Sean’s brand-new album Better Me Than You on August 31. Of course, fans were supposed to have their hands on the tape back on August 9. However, thanks to the good old leaking community, Sean decided to make some minor adjustments beforehand. That’s we and a lot of other believe, however the Detroit MC pushed it back due to wanting to plan out concerts and such. That very well may be true, but with leaks ruining so many things from dropping on schedule or at all, we feel that’s what is going on here. Depending on how you look at it, Sean was able to drop another single this past weekend with The Alchemist.

Currently, we are up to four teaser tracks, which also include “Yes”, “Precision”, and “On Up”. Out of all the ones we have heard so far, we feel that Big Sean did his best work on “Yes”, which is single number two. So far, it seems this will be the album’s biggest banger. If that’s the case, we should be in for a solid album from Sean Don. The epic and dark instrumental suits his aggressive and “no f***s given” attitude on the track. His flows and deliveries are also engaging as he hits you with his familiar cool, calm, and collected voice. Additionally, he gets a little more animated and zanier to jolt some extra energy into his already thrilling performance. To give fans more to chew over, Sean teamed up with Lyrical Lemonade to deliver some equally gloomy visuals for “Yes”. They accentuate what the song sets out to be and we encourage you to check out the creative production below.

Ariana Grande, the GRAMMY® Award-winning and multi-platinum sensation, has once again conquered the charts with her latest single, “yes, and?”. The track debuted at an impressive #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking Grande’s eighth chart-topping hit and her twenty-first song to secure a spot in the Top 10. This achievement solidifies her status as the only artist whose lead singles from all seven studio albums have debuted in the Top 10.

But that’s not all – “yes, and?” not only dominated the domestic charts but also soared to #1 on the Billboard Global 200 Chart, marking Grande’s third #1 on the global stage. The song also clinched the top spot on the Digital Song Sales Chart.

Ariana Grande’s Spotify reign continues with “yes, and?” making an explosive debut at #1 on the Spotify Global Chart, amassing 11.2 million streams. The single also claimed the #1 position on the Apple Music Top 100 Global chart, while its official music video secured the top spot on YouTube Trending for Music.

“yes, and?” serves as the lead single for Grande’s much-anticipated seventh full-length album, eternal sunshine, slated for release on March 8 via Republic Records. The single is a collaborative effort, with Grande taking on writing and production alongside Max Martin and Ilya Salmanzadeh, while Christian Breslauer skillfully directs the official music video. Ariana Grande continues to prove her musical prowess and dominance on a global scale with yet another remarkable chart-topping success.

As fans eagerly await Ariana Grande’s new album, there was a growing interest in identifying her most popular tracks on music platforms and how much she earned per stream. By analyzing the number of listens on popular music platforms, three top tracks were identified – “7 rings,” “Save Your Tears,” and “One Last Time,” due to their significant streaming numbers.
