Recently, Lil Wop received some bigoted and unfortunate clowning for starting to wear women’s clothes and promote their OnlyFans on Instagram. However, we now know, according to the rapper, that said posts were part of a larger and more important process. Moreover, they recently took to the social media platform to share that they are “In The Transition Into Becoming A Full Transgender.” While this came as a shock to many out there, they also received a lot of support and love in the comments. Even with others making jokes or sending hate their way, this is a big step that hopefully gives them a lot of peace of mind and freedom.
Furthermore, Lil Wop previously came out as bisexual in 2022. “I’m Bisexual I like Guys & Girls,” they wrote on social media. “I’m not hacked s**t I’m gay idgaf what anybody think [for real].” In an interview with Say Cheese, they elaborated on their preferences. “Don’t get me wrong, I ain’t out here sucking no d**k or getting f***ed in the a** or no s**t like that… but I’ll make a n***a my b***h. I’m masculine, so I’m a motherf***ing king… I like power.

“I ain’t soft, sweet, or [any] of that s**t,” Lil Wop continued. “I just wanted to put that out to the world. If y’all like me… and you’re a feminine guy or a trans– it’s whatever. It’s love… I want all the love. I’ve had clout my whole life, I ain’t ever gone do no goofy s**t for no clout. I told the Internet, so that’s when the whole world found out.” Unfortunately, when the 27-year-old came out, it was shortly followed by the tense news that they had a falling out with Gucci Mane and their former label, 1017.
“I’m Not Signed To 1017,” the “GUARD!AN ANGEL.” artist tweeted. “I Got Out My Contract With Them In 2018. And I Don’t F**k With Gucci Mane He’s A Weirdo!” We wish the best for Lil Wop on their journey, which will hopefully be a fulfilling and positive one in their life.
