Kanye West & Drake Fans Debate North & Adonis’ Performances On Their LPs

Kanye West and Drake may not have the closest or most amicable relationship these days, but they do have one unique thing in common. Both superstars included a track on their most recent LPs (Vultures and For All The Dogs, specifically) on which their children have a chance to spit some bars. North West takes the mic on “Talking,” whereas Adonis Graham has a throwback verse over some boom-bap, Cypress Hill-esque beats on “Daylight.” In fact, North recently made her Global Spotify Charts debut with this new track, and we all know how successful FATD was. Now the question is, which protégé did it better?

That’s what a lot of fans jokingly debated online, especially after news of North West’s commercial success hit. “adonis gonna run a diss track,” one fan commented under the post below, with another adding, “Kanye’s Daughter > Drakes Son.” However, folks also pointed out that Kanye West and Drake are not the first ones to do this. “Travis featured Stormi now errbody wanna ft their own kid….” one user pointed out. Both child performances are pretty different, though, so maybe “Talking” and “Daylight” can’t even be compared in this regard.

Fans Choose Between North West & Adonis Amid Kanye West’s Vultures Success: See Comments

Of course, this is all just adding to the monstrous hype and discussion around Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s finally released collab album, Vultures. Ye claims that it’s number one in 72 countries including Israel, and we’ll see next week how this chart performance translates into sales and acclaim. This is obviously a very difficult beast to tackle given the Chicago artist’s rampant antisemitism, but most folks already separated that from this rollout. Even though he made it pretty impossible, they are still (disappointingly) mutually exclusive things in folks’ minds.

Meanwhile, the 6ix God is busy on his Big As The What? tour with J. Cole right now, having a lot of fun with the Dreamville MC. He probably won’t drop something new for a while, so maybe we won’t get an Adonis verse for quite some time. But maybe this is when he and North West kick off their solo careers. On that note, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Drake and Kanye West.

Kanye West Claims “Vultures” Is No. 1 In 72 Countries, Including Israel

Folks are still bumping Vultures by Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign everywhere, and it looks like that’s translating into commercial success. Moreover, the former has reposted a report on social media that the album is number one in 72 countries, including Israel. He posted it on his Instagram Story this weekend, and a clip also emerged online of him speaking to a crowd and making the same claim. It’s unclear what are the exact metrics this report is based on, but there’s a lot of ways in which it could manifest: iTunes charts, streaming, or a combination of both. Still, chart data suggested that the project was removed from Apple Music and iTunes charts when it went down temporarily, so how these numbers will manifest is still unclear.

Furthermore, this is a particularly interesting claim because this list of countries apparently includes Israel. Of course, Kanye West wants to highlight this because of his rampant antisemitism references on Vultures, and his bigoted actions and statements off wax. Yet it’s probably more of a reflection of his massive reach and scope of visibility as an artist rather than folks agreeing with these stances. As such, we still need a little more time to determine what the general public consensus is when it comes to this album.

Kanye West Claims Vultures Is No. 1 In Israel & Other Countries

In addition to all that, there are also other elements of Vultures that were still rocky before it finally dropped. One of these is, obviously, sample clearance issues, as Ozzy Osbourne took to Twitter recently to blast Kanye West for trying to use a song of his without clearing it properly. It didn’t end up on the final version of the album, so we know that the untouched version of the project will probably never come out. But this is part of pretty much every Ye rollot at this point, so it hardly comes as a surprise.

Donna Summer’s estate also called the Chicago artist out for alleged copyright infringement. It’s unclear whether these will simply sweep under the rug or if this will actually provoke a takedown of Vultures. Either way, the damage is definitely done, and now fans are waiting for the next installments and a Ye solo album. To find out whether these Kanye West projects drop or not, come back to HNHH.

Kanye West Brings Out North West On Stage In Chicago

Kanye West brought out his daughter, North, in Chicago for a listening event ahead of the release of his new album with Ty Dolla Sign, Vultures 1, earlier this week. The 10-year-old is featured on her father’s new song, “TALKING,” which made the tracklist for the project.

“I love it here/ We gonna take over the year for another year/ It’s your bestie, Miss, Miss Westie,” North sings during her verse. “Don’t tryna test me/It’s gonna get messy.” When The Neighborhood Talk shared the performance on Instagram, fans had plenty of praise in the comments section, “She is HIM reborn!!!!!!! Sent by his mother. He needed North,” one user wrote. Another added: “I’m not gonna hold ya’ll. North has that IT factor. Mark my words. She will be a force.”

The Chicago concert comes despite West admitting to having trouble booking venues to perform in. He had just taken to social media to complain about being ignored by arenas across the country. “We just sold out United Center in seven minutes, and I just want to express to everybody out there to see if there’s anyone that can help with this,” West said in one clip re-uploaded by a fan account. “It’s the only arena that I had access to in the past year. And when I call, people say there’s no avails for me, and you know why that is. So if there’s anybody out there that can help with this, please.”

Kanye West Gets Support From Jason Voorhees Actor For Mask Usage

Kane Hodder, who played Jason Voorhees in several of the Friday the 13th films, has spoken out on Kanye West’s usage of his character’s iconic mask. He says he’s fully in support of the rapper but wants him to get a nicer version of the mask. Ye has been wearing the mask in numerous public appearances and performances in recent weeks.

“I was watching a bunch of the videos and I love it. Kanye, you gotta let me get you a better mask though. That’s kind of a cheesy one. I could get you a nice one and if you would just, during your performance, give the eyes a little bit. That’s what gets people when you’re wearing the mask. Do the big eyes.” From there, Hodder remarked that he’d be down to send Ye a movie-worn version of the mask. He also suggested that Kanye’s polarizing reputation isn’t hurting that of the mask.

For months, Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign, have promoted their joint album, Vultures. From pop-up performances and live listening events, the production duo has keep fans involved at every stage of the project. But supporters weren’t the only folks lasering in on Vultures.

Several musicians including Nicki Minaj, Backstreet Boys, Ozzy Osbourne, and the estate of Donna Summer have refused to give the okay of either their verses or sample usage. These decisions could have certainly contributed to the album’s multiple delays. In spite of the setbacks, the duo managed to drop Vultures. But not everyone can listen to the new album.

Is Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign’s Vultures Available On Spotify?

On February 9, the musicians surprised fans when the highly anticipated album was shared on streaming platforms. However, not even a day later, users began to report that Vultures could no longer be accessed. However, according to Variety, that temporary technical flub didn’t last long. A source close to the musicians told the outlet that the wrong version of the project was imported into streaming services but was quickly updated.

So, is Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s collaborative album, Vultures, available on Spotify? The simple answer is no, at least not yet. As of February 10, Vultures, is available on Apple Music and Tidal.

Kanye West & Latto Go Wild On Our New “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update: Stream

It’s a big week for our Fire Emoji playlist update, which rounded up the best of the best hip-hop that released this week. Leading the way is the much-anticipated collaborative album between Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign, Vultures, which finally landed on most streaming platforms. We highlighted the single “Talking” with North West, which dropped earlier this week, but we’d also recommend highlights like “Fuk Sumn” with Travis Scott and Playboi Carti. In addition, Latto lit up the femcee world with her new single “Sunday Service,” which some fans think is a diss toward other female rappers. She maintains that it’s not that deep, but all that attention for a true-blue banger can’t hurt.

Furthermore, another Fire Emoji highlight, speaking of trunk-knockers from women in hip-hop, is GloRilla’s new single, “Yeah Glo!” Like any amazing Memphis banger, this has an unstoppable and confident flow, heavy drums, and light melodic elements that still preserve the song’s griminess. Another simple but menacing offering this week came from BabyDrill and Luh Tyler, who linked up for their newest record “ScoreGod.” Their nonchalant deliveries and ethereal, organ-like synth hits make an atmosphere that’s as woozy as it is hard-hitting.

HNHH Fire Emoji Playlist: Stream

But you might be wanting a more lyrical offering this week, and for that, look no further than Stove God Cooks’ new single “Melo Chip and a Brick.” It’s a fiery performance from the Griselda-affiliated spitter, paired with a brash but dramatically enveloping sample flip from none other than Conductor Williams. Alas, it wouldn’t be a Fire Emoji update if we didn’t also mention a Chief Keef release, if applicable any given week. His new Mike WiLL Made-It collaboration, the cut “DIRTY NACHOS,” is a fiery and aggressive addition to his already heated catalog.

Finally, for the best release of the week, we have Little Simz’s new EP Drop 7, on which “I Ain’t Feelin It” is a dangerously cool and intoxicating jam. What was your favorite Fire Emoji release this week -– and what did we miss? Drop your thoughts in the comments section down below and check out the playlist above. Kanye West’s “Vultures” Finally On Spotify

It’s been an even wilder past few hours for Kanye West fans than usual, as he finally dropped his Ty Dolla $ign collab album, Vultures. Moreover, the project only landed on Apple Music over the weekend, which obviously had non-users quite pressed and panicked online. However, the LP finally landed on Spotify, YouTube, and presumably other platforms, although it’s still under kind of bizarre technical circumstances. Vultures will show up if you search for it on Spotify, but at press time, it doesn’t appear on Ye’s artist page, which might just be a technical glitch that will be fixed very soon.

Still, there’s the chance that Spotify eventually takes the album down, just like Apple Music seemingly did earlier today (Saturday, February 10). But this could just be due to other technical difficulties, not any action from an entity specifically, so perhaps we’ll never know the real answer there. Kanye West had previously shared text message conversations with his team about Spotify not having Vultures, and it seems like they fixed things up quickly. It’s worth noting that this is an independent release, so sample clearance issues, a lack of a major label, and revisions probably influenced the chaotic nature of this drop.

Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign’s Vultures Finally Lands On Spotify

What’s more is that we apparently have two more volumes of Vultures coming alter this year, plus a Kanye West solo album sometime in the near future. As such, we might get way more music from this collab that they teased but didn’t include on this first installment, such as “Everybody” and “River.” Of course, this also comes amid a lot of drama and backlash for his antisemitic double-downs and other controversial statements, which unfortunately are baked into the music. Those conversations will surely continue, but for now, folks are just dissecting the music.

In addition to all this, the 46-year-old also teased a Super Bowl commercial for Yeezy, but whether it airs this Sunday is anyone’s guess. We can’t imagine the conversation around this ad that higher-ups are having right now. But he’s here to stay, it seems, and what we’ll have to wait for is any retribution or true sign of change that would shift his art away from truly harmful implications. For more news and the latest updates on Kanye West, stay up to date on HNHH.

Freddie Gibbs Praised By Fans For Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign’s “Vultures” Feature

Freddie Gibbs is a fan-favorite feature on Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s new collab album, Vultures. It finally came out this weekend, and just like many fans anticipated, he provided a killer guest verse on the track “Back To Me.” Of course, this was one of the first previewed songs that we heard from this project, and it dates back to their first listening event for it. Over a crisp drum break and ethereal vocal samples, the Indiana MC flows wildly over it, displaying why he’s one of the best spitters in the game right now. Say what you will about Ye, his collaborators, and the ugly parts of this rollout, release, and platform, but talking strictly about the music, the effort here is undeniable.

What’s more is that fans on social media are really excited about finally getting this feature on Vultures after so long. “Freddie Gibbs deserves a lifetime supply of YZY products after giving a verse like that wtf,” one user expressed. “Freddie Gibbs took off on this Ye Album. One of my favorite verses so far this year. Lethal,” another added, and you can find many more messages like these a little further down below. If you don’t have Apple Music (the only platform the album is up on at press time), you can find leaked versions of the cut on YouTube, Twitter, or other social media platforms.

Freddie Gibbs Hops On Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign’s “Back to Me”

However, there was a point in which Freddie Gibbs’ appearance on Vultures was a bit more of a contentious affair. In his rant about wanting to work with Ye and do a better job than his collaborators, JPEGMAFIA ended up taking shots at the Piñata lyricist. This is ironic because Peggy provided production on a couple of tracks on the new album, and all of them are stellar additions. At least this beef didn’t result in either artist delivering mediocre performances or contributions.

Fan Reactions To The Vultures Cut

Meanwhile, with two more Vultures volumes and a solo Ye album reportedly on the way, we’ll see what other features capture fans’ hearts. Was “Back to Me” your favorite track on this first edition or did other features take the cake? Drop your thoughts in the comments and log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Freddie Gibbs, Kanye West, and Ty Dolla Sign.

Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign Drop “Vultures 1” Amid Tons Of Controversy

Vultures 1 is finally in fans’ grasp. After months and months of pushback and tweaks, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have just dropped their eagerly-awaited collaborative album. Once thought to be a singular project, is now three volumes. This was announced back in late January with releases dates of February 9, March 8, and April 5. Many were expecting the first entry to drop on Friday. However, this is Kanye West we are talking about.

Naturally, fans were upset but not surprised by this. But, the reason for this was due to those reworks we mentioned. After the Chicago listening party, Ye and Ty made some last minute adjustments before the New York showcase hence the Saturday release date. This has all caused an uproar, particularly with Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne. Sampling clearing has been another big issue with Vultures as a whole, not just this first installment. However, Kanye removed the once-believed “War Pigs” sample from “Carnival” featuring Playboi Carti and Rich The Kid.

Listen To Vultures 1 By Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign

The actual sample was from “Iron Man,” according to Rolling Stone. If all of this turmoil was not enough, Spotify listeners are really having a rough go of it right now. Vultures 1 is out on Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon Music, Deezer, but not arguably the biggest of them all. As you can see above, it is becoming a trend on X (formerly Twitter) as people are hilariously poking fun at the users of the streaming giant. There is no true reason as to why it is not there yet, but hopefully it will be up later today. There is still so much to come from HNHH about Vultures 1, so be sure to stick around.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new album, Vultures 1, by Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign? Which songs are you gravitating toward the most so far? Who had the strongest feature and why? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to tell us in the comments below. Kanye West Finally Drops “Vultures”… But There’s A Catch: Fans React

Well, it finally happened. Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign, after months of teases, cancellations, listening parties, and antics, have finally released their first collab album Vultures… on Apple Music. Yes, that’s right: if you’re a Spotify or YouTube listener first and foremost, or other streaming services, you still don’t have the album. That’s been a big point of confusion on social media, presumably due to sample clearance issues or specific issues with the streaming platform from a tech or front office standpoint. Nevertheless, the album is technically out, and while people have their theories as to how and why this came out in this way, folks are just happy to have it in their hands.

Furthermore, Vultures 1 released with sixteen tracks and is 55 minutes long. It includes many of the tracks that Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign played for their listening parties, one of which took place last night (Friday, February 9). You’ve probably heard some of them on social media already or caught some interesting bar about them: “Carnival,” “Fuk Sumn,” “Beg Forgiveness,” “Back to Me,” and more. As is typical for a Yeezy release, he and Ty didn’t list any features on the album, but sleuths started to piece it together.

Kanye West’s Vultures 1 With Ty Dolla Sign Finally Drops

Apparently (since a Spotify user wrote this article), the final feature list comprises of India Love, North West, Freddie Gibbs, Quavo (twice), YG, Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, Lil Durk, Bump J, and Rich The Kid. However, some other interesting details about Vultures 1 are starting to emerge and be noticed by fans, as well. For example, Ty is nowhere to be found on the album cover, but Ye’s wife Bianca is on there instead. See more fan reactions down below.

Fan Reactions

Also, the Chicago artist’s debut album The College Dropout dropped on February 10, exactly two decades ago, in 2004. This release apparently has two more volumes on the way, plus a solo Ye album. While it doesn’t aim to clean up past controversies, it does try to forge a path forward from them and finally give fans what they wanted to hear. If you got the chance to listen to it, drop your thoughts in the comments section below and peep the tracklist, too.
