Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer Released: Welcome To Vice City 2025

Just when you thought the gaming world couldn’t get any crazier, Rockstar Games dropped the bomb we’ve all been waiting for. The official trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI. The anticipation had reached a high point after it was leaked on social media. But now, the cat’s officially out of the bag. And it’s bringing some serious heat. The trailer is a visual feast for GTA enthusiasts. Confirming what many had speculated, the game is indeed set in the iconic Vice City. However, Rockstar Games has thrown in a curveball by introducing the first-ever female protagonist to the series – meet Lucia. Starting off her journey in prison, Lucia’s sassy remark, “bad luck, I guess,” sets the tone for the rollercoaster ride that awaits players.

One standout feature is the game’s embrace of the digital age. The trailer offers glimpses of TikToks and live-streams. This signals that social media will definitely be integrated into this game. It’s a reflection of our modern, interconnected world. Crimes are committed not just on the streets but also captured in the virtual realm. As the trailer unfolds, Tom Petty’s “Love Is a Long Road” plays in the background. Audiences then witness several criminal activities take place. Classic GTA vibes are present, with high-speed chases, heists, and everything that makes the franchise memorable.

GTA Returns To Vice City

And, of course, staying true to its Florida setting, there are alligators lurking in unexpected places. Characters are seen wrangling these alligators in various settings (pools, liquor stores, streets, etc). The trailer also provides a sneak peek into the dynamic between Lucia and a male character, hinting at a partnership that goes beyond crime – they seem to be lovers in addition to partners-in-crime. Lucia says towards the end: “The only way we’re gonna get through this is by sticking together and being a team.”

While the trailer leaves us on the edge of our seats, one crucial detail is still shrouded in mystery – the release date. The only nugget of information Rockstar Games dropped is that Grand Theft Auto VI is set to hit screens in 2025. As we buckle up for another wild ride through Vice City, one thing’s for sure – the wait is going to be agonizingly long for GTA fans worldwide. Stay tuned for updates, and in the meantime, watch the trailer above.

50 Cent Once Again Shades STARZ: ‘I’m Not Selling Any Other Shows to STARZ’

50 Cent Expendables

Don’t look for 50 Cent to deliver more BMF or any other shows to STARZ. Hitting Instagram, his on and off war with the premium cable channel is back on, calling the company “the wrong people.”

“I have the number 1, 2, 3, and 4 top Tv shows in African American, and Latina households and i hate that i did them with the wrong people,” he wrote. “I’m not doing any BMF spin offs or selling any other shows to STARZ.”

50 already has three BMF spinoffs planned for the network but it appears that it is the end of his run.

Could it be possible he found the right people elsewhere? 50 Cent has been tapped to lead the new series Vice City for Paramount +. According to Deadline, the series is a partnership of Lionsgate Television, Paramount Television Studios, and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson‘s G-Unit Film & Television.

The series is an original idea from writers and executive producers Darnell Metayer and Josh Peters, who will serve as executive producer and director. Executive producers also include G-Unit, as well as Alex Young and Jason Spitz for 87 Eleven.

Vice City will follow three friends and former soldiers returning to Miami in the mid-80s after a dishonorable discharge for their involvement in the Iran Contra scandal.

The synopsis adds:

Disgraced, displaced, and forgotten by the country they served and with no good job prospects, the three friends partner with a mysterious Colombian immigrant, uniting their financial needs and criminal ambitions to form a heist crew. Fueled by the need for American green, they traverse a violent and dangerous path in pursuit of the American Dream.

It Turns Out 50 Cent’s ‘Grand Theft Auto’ Teaser Was On The Nose But Not Quite What It Seemed

Earlier this month, 50 Cent shared an image from the game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and wrote, “I will explain this later, GLG GreenLight Gang this sh*t bigger than Power trust me. Boom.” Naturally, this had people thinking that he was teasing some sort of involvement with the GTA franchise, perhaps in the highly anticipated sixth mainline game in the series. Now, though, we know what the post was really about: A new show that has a current working title of Vice City.

Deadline reports that Paramount+ is developing the show from Lionsgate Television, Paramount Television Studios, and G-Unit Film & Television. The publication’s summary of the show reads:

Vice City follows three friends, and former soldiers, who return to their home city of Miami in the mid-’80s after being dishonorably discharged from the military for their involvement in the Iran Contra scandal. Disgraced, displaced, and forgotten by the country they served and with no good job prospects, the three friends partner with a mysterious Colombian immigrant, uniting their financial needs and criminal ambitions to form a heist crew. Fueled by the need for American green, they traverse a violent and dangerous path in pursuit of the American Dream.”

The show is written and executive produced by Darnell Metayer and Josh Peters (both known for their work on Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts), while Chad Stahelski (of the John Wick franchise) will serve as executive producer/director.

50 Cent Developing “Vice City” Show Based On “Grand Theft Auto”

Despite how big of a franchise Grand Theft Auto is, there hasn’t really been many moves to take the story to the big screen. There have been rumors of a GTA film and television series, though none of them materialized. However, it seems as though 50 Cent is the one man who’s preparing to take the famous video game series and bring it to the big screen. This is especially the case, given his success with crime-related dramas.

Last week, Fif hinted at some sort of project with Rockstar. The rapper shared a photo of GTA: Vice City logo and hinted that something big was in the works. “I will explain this later, GLG GreenLight Gang this shit bigger than Power trust me. Boom #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi,” he wrote. Despite blatantly showing off the Vice City logo, many believed he was helping with the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6. However, that doesn’t appear to be the case.

50 Cent Announces “Vice City” Show

According to Deadline, 50 Cent is currently developing a new show with the working title Vice City for Paramount+. The rapper’s G-Unit Film & Television, Lionsgate, and Paramount Television Productions are working together to produce the show. The upcoming series is an original production from seasoned vets, including two Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts alumni. Darnell Metayer and Josh Peters will work as writers and executive producers for the show. While Chad Stahhelski, who worked on the John Wick franchise, will also be an EP.

The story will take place in the mid-80s after three friends return home after being dishonorably discharged from the military due to their involvement in the Iran Contra scandal. “The three friends partner with a mysterious Colombian immigrant, uniting their financial needs and criminal ambitions to form a heist crew,” Deadline reports of the plot. “Fueled by the need for American green, they traverse a violent and dangerous path in pursuit of the American Dream.” 50 expressed his excitement on Instagram, writing, “From the director of John Wick Chad Stahelski & ya Boy 50 VICE CITY 🔥GLG🚦💣BOOM💨I don’t miss.” Check Fif’s post above and let us know your thoughts in the comments.

XXXTENTACION’S ‘?’ is Now the Most Streamed Album on Spotify

XXXTentacion's Family Welcomes his Son, Gekyume Onfroy

The popularity of XXXTentacion is just as big as ever. The late rap superstar’s ? album is officially the most streamed album in the history of Spotify. XXX’s effort passed Drake’s Scorpion for the honor.

According to Complex, last November Drake’s Scorpion had a billion stream lead on ? but now trails the effort in a score of 7.884 to 7.883.

Earlier this year, XXXTENTACION’s “vice city” is became available on all DSPs for the first time.

“vice city” is one of X’s most well-known compositions from his “SoundCloud Era,” and it was the first song to appear on his SoundCloud page. From sampling Laura Mvula to using a Logic-style rhythm he found on YouTube, the song demonstrates XXXTENTACION’s talent even at the tender age of 16. This piece of work is more than just a song for X fans. It was the first glimpse inside the complicated and at times depressing mind of someone with whom many of his fans could identify. When compared to other artists at the time, it was instantly evident how raw and original X was, and his genre-free approach established a gateway to the music-making environment we take for granted today.

Ahead of the release, The Estate of Jahseh Onfroy released an official statement:

We continue to be amazed at the love and support that X’s fans show on a daily basis. We know how much his music means to all of you, and his impact continues to be as powerful as it’s ever been.

It is important to us to continue to honor Jah’s legacy, and in that spirit we are planning an exciting 2022. One of our first initiatives is to get as much of X’s music from his earliest days as an artist up on all DSPs. We have been working diligently to clear as much of it as possible, and we are excited to announce our first release this Friday with “vice city” hitting all streaming services for the first time. We will continue to release music as we clear it, and are making sure we do it in a way that stays true to how X released each song originally.

Visit www.makeouthill.com now to sign up and stay up to date with X-related news, and be the first to be notified as the site evolves. Follow @makeouthill on Twitter for more updates.

Beyond the music, we know X’s fans have been waiting patiently for the documentary and we will be sharing updates on it soon.

Thank you again for your support and for continuing to honor and celebrate the life of Jah.
