Aaron Rodgers Calls of Engagement to Shallene Woodley

aaron rodgers shailene woodley

A Super Bowl championship ring won’t likely be the only ring that Aaron Rodgers won’t be getting in 2022 as the Green Bay quarterback recently ended his engagement to actress Shallene Woodley.

The news comes just a year after Rodgers, 38, and the Divergent actress, 30, announced their engagement, much to the surprise of many.

Neither Rodgers nor Woodley provided any official information about the split, although it appears to be fairly amicable. (The couple has no children.) A source told People that “it just wasn’t working” between the two, stating that Rodgers and Woodley very different people with busy careers and there were obstacles that they couldn’t surmount. They will remain friendly; there’s no bad blood and no drama. It just didn’t work out for them.”

Some have speculated that the split might have been caused by their drastically different political and social views. Whereas Woodley is an outspoken activist about many causes, Rodgers has been a prominent figure in the fight against mandated Covid-19 vaccinations.

Neither has posted anything on Instagram since the breakup announcement.

The Game Agrees He Was Left Out of the Super Bowl Halftime Show

The Game to young rappers advice

The Hip-Hop family tree of Dr. Dre was on full display during the Super Bowl halftime show. The Good Doctor was joined by Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and the surprise guests of Anderson .Paak and 50 Cent. But was somebody missing? The Game seems to think so.

The Compton legend reposted a message from an associate reading “FYI: @losangelesconfidential Should’ve been on stage at the Super Bowl I’ll be first to say it.”

Game reposted the message to his Instagram with the simple message of “Shit brazy fr”

That message would follow some additional posts. Do you think that The Game should have been included?

99 Neighbors Cruise Through A Smooth ‘Eastside’ Invitation For ‘UPROXX Sessions’

99 Neighbors issue a smooth invitation on their groovy single “Eastside,” pairing the laid-back, melodic track with a casual performance on the latest episode of UPROXX Sessions. The group, which normally consists of seven members, came through Uproxx Studios with a stripped-down, two-man lineup consisting of rappers Sam Paulino and Hanknative, who provide all the vocals on the song, while Jared Fier, Juju, and Somba make their presence known on the lilting, midtempo beat. Other members of the group include Aidan Ostby, a vocalist, Connor “Swank” Stankevich, also a rapper, and Shane Kaseta, the group’s graphic designer and photographer.

First-time listeners might be surprised to learn that the group hails from Burlington, Vermont, which is not exactly a hotbed of the jazz, R&B, and hip-hop that influences their sound. However, once the band formed in 2018, it didn’t take them long to acquire national recognition, thanks in part to securing the co-management services of Pat Corcoran, who formerly managed Chance The Rapper. 99 Neighbors were included as the first act in Corcoran’s 2019 label deal with Warner Records and they’ve steadily grown their profile since.

Watch 99 Neighbors’ groovy performance of “Eastside” above.

UPROXX Sessions is Uproxx’s performance show featuring the hottest up-and-coming acts you should keep an eye on. Featuring creative direction from LA promotion collective, Ham On Everything, and taking place on our “bathroom” set designed and painted by Julian Gross, UPROXX Sessions is a showcase of some of our favorite performers, who just might soon be yours, too.

99 Neighbors is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.
