Cher has finally broken her silence and is standing by her man following a fight that broke out in Cannes last month between her boyfriend Alexander “AE” Edwards and Travis Scott, taking to X (formerly Twitter) to simply state:
I’m Proud of Alexander. He Didn’t Start The fight Against 2 Men,… He finished it, Gotta Love Him
While it remains unclear exactly what sparked the fight, it occurred on May 23 at nightclub owner Richie Akiva’s “THE AFTER” party, which took place following the AmfAR Gala at Cannes Film Festival. Edwards was in attendance with his group (which included Cher, Tyga, and others). Other celebs attending the event included Future, Evan Ross, Odell Beckham Jr., Joe Jonas and others, many of whom took turns DJing throughout the night.
The fight appeared to start as words were exchanged between Scott and Tyga when they both found themselves behind the booth. Video footage shows Edwards and Scott getting into a shoving match before security intervenes and an emcee tells them to break it up and “take that sh** outside.”
Tyga was not involved in the physical altercation, nor was Cher.
Both Tyga and Scott have been romantically linked to Kylie Jenner in the past, although there is no indication that this fight had anything to do with her. Cher, 78, has been dating Edwards, 38, on and off for about two years. Edwards is an executive at Universal Music Group and has produced for Tyga in the past. (The two are also reportedly good friends.) Edwards has a child with ex-girlfriend Amber Rose, whom he broke up with in 2021.

On this date in 2013, the media was in a frenzy around the death or the whereabout of Timothy Blair, a rapper from the Bronx who was better known as “Tim Dog”, who is most famously known for his West Coast diss track “Fuck Compton”. However, Tim Dog will now be forever etched in the history books of Hip Hop after being accused of Playing Dead, as described in Elizabeth Greenwood’s best seller about celebrities who are believed to still be alive.
On February 14, 2013, The Source exclusively revealed the death of Tim Dog, but just three months later, mainstream media such as MSNBC and even urban media such as Vice began to question the validity of The Source’s report and even accused “The Bible Of Hip Hop” of aiding Tim Dog in a death fraud scheme.
Tim Dog was wanted in several different jurisdictions around the world for defrauding women out of hundreds of thousands of dollars, so it was suspected that when his death was reported that it was only another one of his schemes to get out repaying one of his defrauded victims. After over a year of research by many different outlets, it was eventually revealed that Tim Dog died from a heart attack in his home in Fulton County, GA on February 14, 2013.
It’s been a while since Isaiah Rashad fans have heard a new full-length project from the Chattanooga-born performer. His last album, The House Is Burning, arrived nearly four years ago in 2021. Since then, he’s been on a bit of a break from releasing solo music, though he has appeared on various other artists’ projects in recent months.
Fortunately for fans, however, it looks like he has a new project on the way. During a recent show, he announced that he’s got something in the works. According to him, it will “most likely” drop later this year, though he didn’t confirm an official release date. He said that the title is still up in the air too, but either way, fans can’t wait.
This isn’t the first time fans have heard mumblings of a new Isaiah Rashad album dropping this year, however. Back in February, a list of Top Dawg Entertainment artists planning to release projects in 2024 surfaced online, and Rashad was on the list. Both ScHoolboy Q and SiR were also listed, and have already dropped this year. Only time will tell who could be next, though if the list proves to be correct, it’ll be a major year for the label regardless.
Rashad’s exciting announcement isn’t the only thing to get a crowd hyped at one of his recent shows, however. Earlier today, a clip of him closing out a performance by playing Kendrick Lamar’s iconic Drake diss “Not Like Us” also surfaced online. As expected, his audience went wild, dancing and rhyming along to the track. What do you think of Isaiah Rashad announcing that he has a new project in the works dropping later this year during one of his recent shows? Are you looking forward to finally hearing it? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.
Scarlett Johansson has threatened to sue Sam Altman and his business OpenAI, claiming that they stole her voice for ChatGPT without her consent. Johansson, who portrayed the voice of the AI assistant in the science fiction film “Her” (2013), said that her closest friends were unable to distinguish ChatGPT’s “Sky” voice from her own. Johansson said in a statement that Altman wanted her to be the voice of his AI system and that, in spite of her refusal, he nevertheless used a copy of her voice. Additionally, she said that Altman even tried to sign Johansson again.
“Two days before the ChatGPT 4.0 demo was released, Mr. Altman contacted my agent, asking me to reconsider,” she wrote in the statement that was released yesterday. “Before we could connect, the system was out there.” Altman refuted Johansson’s voice being used without her consent. OpenAI stated that it strives to stop its artificial voices from mimicking those of actual people. Additionally, the company says it supports more robust safeguards against deepfakes.
Scarlett Johansson is prepared to take legal action against the AI company. “The voice of Sky is not Scarlett Johansson’s, and it was never intended to resemble hers,” Altman said in a statement late Monday. “We cast the voice actor behind Sky’s voice before any outreach to Ms. Johansson. Out of respect for Ms. Johansson, we have paused using Sky’s voice in our products. We are sorry to Ms. Johansson that we didn’t communicate better.” Last week, OpenAI unveiled a demo of their most recent ChatGPT model. It featured “Voice Mode,” in which an expressive AI responded to inquiries. Among the voices was “Sky.”
To answer concerns over the selection process for the ChatGPT voices, OpenAI announced that it is “pausing” the usage of the Sky voice. Johansson said that two letters were sent by her legal representative to Altman and OpenAI. They requested that they explain the precise procedure by which they developed the ‘Sky’ voice. Additionally, the dispute with Johansson arises at a difficult moment for OpenAI. The company is being sued by writers, artists, and media businesses for allegedly utilizing their works without permission or payment. Overall, Scarlett is not going to let AI use her voice without her consent.
While it seems like half of the rap world is beefing, Eminem (who is no stranger to rap beefs himself) sat this one out and instead opted for a more positive experience over the weekend as he joined daughter Hailie Jade as she got married to her longtime boyfriend Evan McClintock.
On Instagram, Hailie Jade shared a few wedding photos along with the caption:
“Waking up a wife this week. We couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration. So so many happy tears were shed, laughs & smiles were had, & so much love was felt. Evan and I are feeling so grateful for all of the family & friends that traveled to support us and be a part of this new chapter of our lives as husband & wife.“
The wedding, which took place over the weekend at at Greencrest Manor in Battle Creek, Michigan, was attended by the couple’s friends and family, including Em, his ex-wife Kim, and Alaina (Em’s adopted daughter). Halie, wore a mermaid-style white dress with a sweetheart neckline and a flowing tulle train while her father and husband wore traditional black tuxedos.
While the newlyweds were certainly the stars of the show, Eminem performed traditional father roles such as walking his daughter down the aisle and joining her for a father-daughter dance on a rose-infused dance floor. No word what song they danced to.
The couple left the ceremony in a vintage Cadillac convertible. The two met in college in 2016 and have been together ever since. McClintock did reportedly say that he asked Em for his daughter’s hand before popping the question.
