J. Prince Reveals He Heard Kanye West's New Album in Saudi Arabia

J. Prince revealed that he has heard the new Kanye West album. Hitting Instagram, J. Prince posted a picture with Ye in Saudi Arabia, highlighting he has heard the forthcoming music.

“Nice listening to some of the new album with the homies in Saudi Arabia,” J. Prince said. “It’s hot. One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Full of Respect, Structure, and Peace.”

Last week, Ty Dolla $ign announced he and Kanye West are ready to take their new album on the road. Hitting Instagram, Ty Dolla $ign announced a “multi stadium listening event” for the album. The event is slated for Nov. 3.

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have completed a collaboration album and are now seeking a partner company to release it. According to Billboard, Ye is mulling over five offers and “will make a decision soon.”

Ye and Ty Dolla originally targeted Oct. 12 for the album but are now looking for another Q4 date. The report states that while the music is considered the best West has made since 2018, executives are concerned with his return timing amid the conflict between Israel and Hamas. Some labels have already passed on distributing the project, while one startup powerhouse, Too Lost, is believed to be a potential partner.

On Sunday, October 1st, Ye hosted a private listening event for his new album inside a recording studio overseas in Italy. Via The Sun, it seems Kanye was being Kanye, stating he “yelled and appeared out-of-sorts” during the preview of his new project.

This is the first we hear of new music since his public anti-semitic comments drew much backlash from the Jewish community and beyond. While this would seemingly be an exciting moment to share what’s in the vault, sources say Kanye looked a bit crazy during the playback.

Ty Dolla Sign Announced That He And Kanye West Will Hold A ‘Multi Stadium’ Listening Event Next Month

Ty Dolla Sign fans who were disappointed that he canceled his More Motion Less Emotion Tour may have something to look forward to next month, as the LA singer just announced that he and Kanye West are planning a “multi-stadium” listening event akin to Kanye’s listening events for Donda a few years ago on November 3. However, there’s little other info about it, so maybe take this with a grain of salt, considering how slapdash Kanye’s previous ambitious endeavors have been — and how his last year went, what with his basically burning his empire to the ground.

If anything, you’ve got to wonder why Ty has hitched his horse to this particular wagon, which has been racing at top speed toward a thousand-foot cliff with no brakes and two broken axles. He and Kanye are reportedly searching for distributors for their upcoming joint album, but you have to imagine that West’s brand is pretty much radioactive right now. Even doing the one thing everybody hoped he’d do when he was on the warpath last year might not be enough to right the ship; neither Donda was much to write home about, and you sort of have to balance the hope for a return to form against the fear that Kanye will just double down on all the shenanigans that lost him his shoe deal, bank accounts, and marriage (supposedly) in the first place.

Kanye West is ready to roll out his next album. According to Italian newspaper II Messagero, Ye will debut his new album at the RCF Arena on Oct. 20. The arena’s capacity is 80,000 people.

NPR Podcast shares a guest list, which includes Ty Dolla Sign, Playboi Carti, and Travis Scott.

Ty Dolla $ign was in attendance for the festivities, with a possible feature on the new album. The two have previously collaborated multiple times, including on Ty$’s song “Ego Death,” released in 2020.

One thing that did not go unnoticed was the absence of Ye’s wife, Bianca Sensori. The two have been attached to the hip, it seems, being photographed left and right whenever they appear in public.

Regardless, day one Kanye fans can only hope that new music is on the horizon!

Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign Are Reportedly Looking At Distributors For Their Forthcoming Collaborative Album

Ye, formally known as Kanye West, has returned to X (formerly Twitter), but that’s not all he’s doing. According to Billboard, West has teamed up with “By Yourself” singer Ty Dolla Sign for a collaborative full-length project. The only thing standing in the album’s way is a problem with distribution.

Billboard reports West and Ty are looking for a new distributor deal for the forthcoming release. Billboard alleges that the musicians are fielding upwards of five offers from companies at the present moment and are leaning towards one favorable option. Initially, the entertainers’ goal was to share the collaboration with the public this past Friday, October 13. However, a deal wasn’t reached. So, they’ve moved the release date. They hope to drop the album before the year ends.

West and Ty have come together on numerous occasions in the past, including on the 2021 song “Junya Pt 2,” 2019’s “Everything We Need,” 2016’s “Real Friends” and 2014’s “Only One.” Before that, they worked together on Ty Dolla $ ign’s “Ego Death” (2020) and on West’s “Everything We Need” (2019), “Real Friends.”

West’s last full-length project, Donda 2, was exclusively released on his Donda Stem Player, developed in partnership with Kano Computing.

Ty Dolla Sign is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Is Ty Dolla Sign’s ‘More Motion Less Emotion Tour’ Canceled?

Fans looking forward to catching Ty Dolla Sign’s More Motion Less Emotion Tour might just be out of luck. Songkick’s calendar for Ty Dolla Sign is showing a slew of canceled shows, while Ty’s own website has no upcoming events listed. Even Live Nation only has one show coming up in Costa Mesa, CA on October 21.

So…

Is Ty Dolla Sign’s ‘More Motion Less Emotion Tour’ Canceled?

Although no official announcements have been made either way, it certainly looks like it is, for all intents.

We’re not entirely sure what prompted the cancellations, other than the fact that we’ve seen similar events being dropped from the likes of Lil Baby, Lil Durk, and more this year. Certainly, the live entertainment industry is still reeling from the effects of the pandemic (which, sorta hasn’t really ever stopped so much as we all decided to go on about our business after over a million people died from a completely preventable breakdown of public policy and social discourse). Venues are doing less business at their bars, and with Live Nation nixing merch fees for artists, their venues are are sure to see revenues take a hit.

Artists themselves are struggling, too. While top-line artists like Beyoncé, Drake, and Taylor Swift have devoured all the oxygen (and money) that would probably ordinarily be going to indies and rising artists, even established majors are finding it tough to sell tickets, route tours, and turn a profit from a hungry public that demands more bang for their buck than but has a lot fewer of those bucks to spread around.

It wouldn’t be surprising to find out Ty’s in this boat, for now, all this is just conjecture. And speaking of conjecture, there’s speculation among fans that he’s been working on Kanye West’s new album, which fans on Twitter believe is being recorded in Italy
One thing is for sure: This is a tough break for openers Leon Thomas and Symba, who could have used the exposure — and the tour money.
