Patriots’ 2023 Season Opener To Honor Tom Brady

Tom Brady is literally the greatest player to ever don a New England Patriots jersey. Selected in the 6th round of the 2000 NFL Draft, he went on to dominate pro football. Much of that dominance happened in New England, where he won six Super Bowl titles. It is also the place where he set many league and franchise records. However, Brady finished his career in Tampa Bay, finally retiring in 2023.

Despite leaving the Patriots, he is still held in high regard by the organization and many fans. However, there are those who may never forgive Brady for leaving. Furthermore, the organization is ready to honor the man who played 20 success-filled seasons for the team when the 2023 season gets underway. It comes on the same day that the NFL will announce the schedules for 2023.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft announced ahead of the NFL schedule reveal that the first Patriots home game of the 2023 season will honor Tom Brady. “I invited him back to be with us at the opening game and let the fans in New England thank him … it will be the beginning of many celebrations to honor Tom Brady,” Kraft said. Kraft has owned the Patriots since 1994, and saw the brand’s success explode exponentially with Brady at the helm. Kraft, nor the team, will likely never find a player as franchise-defining as Brady again.

“He’s very excited to come back and see our fans. It will be a great, great celebration,” Kraft said of Brady. However, a few things remain unknown. First, it’s unclear when this will take place. The full NFL schedule will be announced at 8pm EDT on May 11. The only thing that has so far been revealed about the Patriots’ schedule is that they will play a November 12 game in Frankfurt against the Colts. Furthermore, it’s unknown what “honoring” Brady will entail. It could mean the Patriots retire his jersey. The Patriots have retired seven jersey numbers, the last one being that of Bruce Armstrong in 2000. What would you like to see the Patriots to do honor Brady? Let us know in the comments below.

Tom Brady Slams Fox Rumor as “Fake News”

Tom Brady is set to join the Fox broadcasting booth in 2024. However, reports surfaced on May 5 that Brady was starting to have second thoughts about the 10-year deal he had signed. Initially reported by the New York Post, Brady allegedly voiced concerns about the travel involved with doing the job full-time. Unlike a remote broadcast such as ESPN‘s ManningCast, Brady would be a full-time, on-site color commentator. That would require a minimum of four days of travel a week during the season. Brady’s contract with Fox is reportedly worth $375 million.

However, Tom Brady has never been to take media speculation lying down. He made that clear when putting various reporters on blast during his prolonged retirement saga. True to form, Brady has hit back at the Post‘s claims that he might be about to walk out on his lucrative broadcast deal.

Brady Dismisses Walk-Out Rumors

As part of the media cycle prompted by the New York Post bombshell, Sports Illustrated published an image explaining the situation on Instagram. Brady took to the social media platform, commenting “FakeNews” on Sports Illustrated‘s post. Furthermore, sources told TMZ that Brady was already beginning preparations for this broadcast role, despite being over a year away from taking to the booth. While Brady had the option to start in 2023, he chose to defer a year to focus on “other parts of my life that need some time and energy”.

It’s a blow to the already shaky credibility of the New York Post. The Post has a reputation as a right-wing outlet prone to sensationalism. Another comment seen on the Sports Illustrated Instagram post reads “Lol from one of the most unreliable sources”. Prior to working at the Post, Marchand was a reporter for ESPN. Earlier in the week, another member of the Post‘s sports team abruptly deleted a tweet claiming that Aaron Rodgers and Sauce Gardner had spent seven hours at dinner together. However, it’s clear that the rumors Brady was reconsidering his broadcasting future are unfounded.

Tom Brady May Drop Out Of Fox Broadcasting Deal

Prior to his two retirements, Tom Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million deal to broadcast the NFL on Fox once his playing career was over. After retiring, un-retiring, playing a miserable 2022 season, and re-retiring, the start of the broadcast deal was pushed to 2024. This would allow Brady to enjoy a full season without football before taking on the heavy commitment of at least a decade of broadcasting.

Broadcasting has long been an avenue that professional athletes pursue after their playing career. Additionally, broadcasters have found great success with the likes of the Manning Brothers’ Monday Night Football show. “The Manningcast” has been a smash hit for ESPN. However, in yet more bad news for Fox as an entity, Brady might not be 100% on his deal.

Brady Beginning To Hedge On Fox Deal

According to the New York Post‘s Andrew Marchand, Brady might not go through with the broadcasting deal at all. Having spoken to sources close to Brady, Marchand claims that the legendary QB is having second thoughts about the ten-year commitment to Fox. One of the biggest issues for Brady is reportedly the travel commitment for the job. As Brady wouldn’t want to do it for “anything less than 100%”, that would mean four days of travel a week. That is opposed to only traveling for game days on a less stringent schedule. This differs greatly to the ManningCast, which is done remotely by Peyton and Eli.

This commitment comes at a time when Brady is building a post-divorce life. He very publicly separated from his wife Gisele Bündchen during the season. Brady now shares custody of the children he had with Bündchen. Given that it was Brady’s decision to return to football in 2022 that reportedly ended his marriage, he may not be keen to jeopardize his family’s future further with more commitment to football. Fox‘s football broadcasting is currently led by former NFL tight end Greg Olsen. He has helmed the network’s broadcast since 2021. Prior to that, Olesen did bye-week work for them in the final years of his career. Brady has not officially pulled out of his contract. However, if Marchand’s reporting is true, that could be something we see announced in the coming weeks and months.

Tom Brady Threatens Lawsuit Over AI Usage

Tom Brady discussed many avenues the former NFL QB may run across in retirement. Brady decided to call it quits for a second time after the 2022-23 season. One of the avenues Brady has mentioned in the past was trying stand-up comedy. That news caught the attention of many in the comedy realm. As stand-up isn’t as easily done as one might see it to be. However, one comedy podcast decided to take Brady’s stand-up gig to a whole other level.

Dudesy is the first podcast run entirely by AI. The show’s hosts, Chad Kultgen and “Freewill” Will Sasso, discuss the world of artificial intelligence in the most unserious of ways. Recently, the show created an entire 1-hour comedy special with Tom Brady. The special was made by AI but featured a voice similar to Brady’s. When the special dropped on the podcast’s Patreon channel, word began spreading quickly on the AI impression of Brady. The special became so popular that Brady himself even learned about it.

Tom Brady Doesn’t Find AI Stand-Up Funny

However, Brady didn’t see the humor in the created special. Brady’s legal team sent a cease and desist letter to the podcast’s hosts. But the hosts don’t really see the harm in the special. However, they have complied with Brady’s legal team and have removed the special from their content pages. However, the hosts mentioned that this incident has not stopped them from potentially having other AI-generated content featuring celebrities and public figures.

Maybe Brady was jealous over such a great comedy special that he didn’t create. However, that may not be the biggest issue here. AI is continuing to break down walls on what it is capable of. This Tom Brady comedy special is just the latest example. The show has become larger than ever thought possible with the Brady AI special. However, for now, the show may want to stick to ‘Stone Cold Steven Austin Reading Will Sasso’s Childhood Diary.’ At least, that’s what one fan believes. It’s me. I’m the fan. Do you believe that Brady was right in taking legal action against the show? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section. For the latest in AI and sports, keep it right here with HNHH.

Antonio Brown Claims Tom Brady Yelled At His Agent

Antonio Brown’s departure from the NFL may go down as one of the most memorable moments of all time. Brown decided to ditch his pads in the middle of a game and hit the jets to the locker room. That moment was the final time Brown ever stepped on the field with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, the Pro Bowl receiver now says a lot was going through his mind during that time. Including what would end up being a massive fallout with former teammate Tom Brady.

In an interview on the Millions $ Worth Of Game Podcast, Brown talked about what actually went down between him and Brady. “So now when we get the ring in 2021, I’m the last guy that signed. My agent, Ed Wasielewski, is getting called, cursed out by Tom Brady over why is he pushing back for the contract for scraps. Imagine if you heard that, the same guy that brought you in to win a ring, the same agent he told you to hook up with to get the deal, is not telling me, the guy’s calling him, saying, yo, cursing him out about scraps of a contract.” Check out the video including Brown’s comments below.

Antonio Brown Still Respects Tom Brady The Player

Later in his interview, Brown did mention that he is thankful for the opportunity to play with Brady. During his tenure in Tampa, the pair did go on to win a Super Bowl. So, the entire journey for Brown and the Buccaneers wasn’t a complete failure. However, Brown felt like he was being slighted by those he thought he could trust. During Brady’s public divorce from Gisele Bundchen, Brown made numerous jokes on social media about Brady.

It doesn’t seem as if Brady and Brown will be rekindling a relationship any time soon. Brown has also made headlines this week after a verbal altercation with a security guard over the weekend. The former Buccaneers receiver was asked to leave the field during an arena football game. Which, he didn’t seem to care about how the situation was being handled. However, fans in attendance claim that Brown was gracious and kind during every fan interaction during the event. What will be the next step in the journey for Antonio Brown? Certainly, it will be bound to make headlines. For the latest NFL news, keep it right here at HNHH.

Antonio Brown Explaining His Outburst During Jets Game

Antonio Brown’s final moment in the NFL is one of the most memorable of all time. The former Pro Bowl receiver was last seen giving the fans deuces as he trotted off the field at MetLife Stadium. His Tampa Bay Buccaneers were in the middle of a game with the New York Jets when the moment happened. Brown broke the internet with his decision to walk off the sidelines during a game. Most couldn’t believe that this was the way Brown’s legacy would finish its final chapter on the field. Now Brown is telling his side of the infamous story.

On a recent episode of MILLION $ WORTH OF GAME, Brown discussed what he was thinking during the moment. According to Brown, there were so many variables involved in the situation. First, the star receiver was frustrated with Tampa QB Tom Brady. Brown claims that Brady was upset with him over not taking a contract that Brown felt was disrespectful. Also, Brown stated he was dealing with an injury that the coaches did not listen to him about. The combination of issues seemed to bring Brown to the brink. Which caused the receiver to split during the game.

Antonio Brown Was Frustrated With Tampa Bay

Brown’s departure did not sit well with the Buccaneers organization and was the last time he was seen in the league. AB’s career was once heading directly to Canton as a Hall-of-Famer. However, his last three seasons have left a sour taste in the league. Brown never played one game as a member of the Raiders. As the receiver and the organization were at odds from the moment, he joined the organization. But Brown was a part of the Super Bowl winning Buccaneers team from 2021. However, his numbers might not have been what one would expect from such a talent.

Brown’s career is still Hall-of-Fame worthy. Multiple Pro Bowls, four-time All-Pro, and is a member of the 2010’s All-Decade Team. Brown has literally done it all as one of the best to ever play the game. However, his off-the-field antics and legal issues have put a black eye on his extraordinary legacy. Do you think what Antonio Brown did was wrong that day in New York? Is Brown still a Hall-of-Famer? Drop your thoughts on the matter in our comment section. Meek Mill Joins Robert Kraft’s $25M Campaign To Combat Antisemitism

Just a few days after Kanye West issued an apology of sorts to the Jewish community, Meek Mill’s joined a fight to combat antisemitism. Robert Kraft recently announced a $25M initiative to combat anti-Jewish hatred, which has undoubtedly increased over the past few months. Kraft enlisted the help of Tom Brady and Meek Mill for the initiative, which will go through the Patriots owner’s Foundation to Combat Antisemitism. Kraft explained that the rising number of antisemitic incidents inspired him to raise awareness of what’s happening across the country.

“What’s happening in America today, it is a big part of my life,” Kraft told People about the new initiative. “There’s been work done that shows that 50% of Americans do not realize that antisemitism is any problem, and the Jewish population is roughly 2.4% of the population in the US but yet receives over 55% of the hate crimes.” With the help of Meek Mill and Tom Brady, Robert Kraft aims to “educate all Americans” on the hateful acts perpetrated against the Jewish community.

Meek Mill, Tom Brady Join Robert Kraft’s Initiative

Kraft’s foundation already began rolling out its campaign via social media through the Blue Square emoji. They’ve shared a number of stories that highlight the struggles Jewish Americans face right now. “[Tom Brady] and I are still very tight and he will be using this blue emoji when we kick off again,” Kraft said of enlisting the retired quarterback for his campaign. It seems as though Meek Mill will likely join Tom Brady and Robert Kraft on the social campaign, as well.

The Philadelphia rapper’s involvement doesn’t come as much of a surprise, especially since Kraft played a big role in helping launch the REFORM initiative. Meek Mill will join Robert Kraft during a trip to Poland next month for the March of the Light. The event takes visitors through the locations of concentration camps in the country. Robert Kraft explained Meek Mill will join him to “see what went on” during the Holocaust. The rapper later shared the news on Twitter, writing, “Shout out to Robert,” along with several diamond emojis.

Meek Mill And Tom Brady Join $25 Million Antisemitism Initiative Founded By Robert Kraft

Over the years, Meek Mill and Robert Kraft’s relationship has been quite interesting to watch. The “Expensive Pain” rapper and New England Patriot’s Chief Executive Officer bond was strengthened when Kraft served as a key financial contributor toward the #FreeMeek movement via his Reform Alliance to backed in 2017 to fight for the rapper’s release from prison. Although the pair since collaborated in many ways, Meek’s latest post on Twitter revealed another large initiative on the horizon.

As confirmed by Kraft’s recent interview with People, Meek Mill and former New England Patriot star quarterback Tom Brady will be joining the businessmen’s $25 million antisemitism initiative. The multi-level campaign organized by Kraft’s Foundation to Combat Antisemitism aims to educate Americans on how to fight antisemitism.

“What’s happening in America today, it is a big part of my life. There’s been work done that shows that 50% of Americans do not realize that antisemitism is any problem, and the Jewish population is roughly 2.4% of the population in the US but yet receives over 55% of the hate crimes,” said Kraft.

As part of the campaign’s social media campaign, supporters are encouraged to use the designed blue emoji to show their support and as a visual “symbol of solidarity.” Brady is on board and will be using it across his posts once the campaign begins. When discussing the former New England Patriot, Kraft said, “He and I are still very tight, and he will be using this blue emoji when we kick off again.”

Education on the matter is important to Kraft. He revealed that he encouraged Meek to join him on a visit to Poland citing he wanted the musician “see what went on” in Holocaust death camps.

Meek Mill is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Tom Brady Seemingly Responds To Gisele With “False Friends” Quote

Tom Brady has been going through it as of late in the aftermath of his divorce from Gisele Bundchen. The two had been together for over two decades, and they had multiple children together. However, they ultimately grew apart and got divorced in the middle of the season. Overall, it was a shocking development that took its toll on the field. Brady was not the same player he has been in the past, and many blamed it on his separation.

Recently, Gisele spoke to Vanity Fair about the divorce. There had been plenty of rumors floating around concerning why Bundchen left the NFL legend. Mostly, fans assumed it was because he went back on his promise to retire from the league. Although, Gisele contested this idea, saying it was because they simply didn’t want the same things anymore. “When you love someone, you don’t put them in a jail and say, ‘You have to live this life,’” Gisele said. “You set them free to be who they are, and if you want to fly the same direction, then that’s amazing. We’re not playing against each other. We are a team … and that’s beautiful. I look back and I have no regrets. I loved every bit of it.”

Tom Brady Gets Philosophical

According to Page Six, Tom Brady seemingly had a response to Gisele’s interview. While taking to his Instagram story, he posted a quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson. The quote is about what success truly is. What makes this quote so interesting, however, is the reference to “False Friends.” “What is success? To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends,” the quote reads.

Ultimately, no one truly knows what Brady was trying to say here. He has been fairly cryptic on social media as of late, which is a common theme among divorced men. Either way, he is Tom Brady which means he can do whatever he wants. He should just go out and enjoy being single. Based on Gisele’s trips to Costa Rica, it’s clear that that’s what she is doing.
