Since the release of their latest single, “If I Get Caught,” DVSN has certainly stirred the pot and open pandora’s box for conversations on potential toxic relationship.

The group originally finished the recording of the record back in January, with the intention to release it in March. Instead, it was release this Summer. One would say it is perfect timing because Winter months are labeled as “cuffing season.” On the other hand, the warm weather season entices more outside activity that may or may not involve the cuffing season.

“You get to see this person and mentality in its boldest of thoughts,” said Daniel. “There’s something in the honesty of the song, although it may be triggering.”

It has certainly triggered some listeners and raised some eyebrows. “If I Get Caught” has also prompted a response from half of the R&B quartet, Xscape. Kandi Burress and Tameka “Tiny” Harris dropped their response and added their sauce to the pot of controversial R&B. In the chorus they sing:

If you get caught cheating
middle finger up ni**a f**k you

Both Nineteen85 and Daniel Day have shared their experiences of getting caught. While they have learned their lessons of the past, the point of the record stretches beyond toxicity.

According to the the R&B duo, (Daniel Day & Nineteen85) their forthcoming album is a story. “If I Get Caught” is only “chapter one of it” that discuss ego.

T.I. And Tiny’s Los Angeles Sexual Assault Case Was Dismissed As They Continue To Deny The Accusations

Atlanta trap rap pioneer T.I. and his R&B singer wife Tiny Harris have avoided sexual assault charges in Los Angeles after prosecutors decided not to move forward with the case, according to TMZ. A police report was initially filed earlier this year by a woman who claimed that the couple drugged and assaulted her after she met them in a club in 2005. However, according to court documents obtained by TMZ, the incident would be outside the statute of limitations, so they have decided not to pursue charges.

Meanwhile, T.I. and Tiny maintain that the multiple accusations against them — which have come from several women in the past year — are false, attributing the allegations to a cash grab led by a woman they “have had difficulty with” for “well over a decade.” In April, they demanded that the women accusing them of these incidents reveal their identities. T.I. addressed the accusations in his May track “What It’s Come To,” reiterating his demand for the alleged victims to come forward.

The cases against T.I. and Tiny were spearheaded by lawyer Tyrone A. Blackburn, who alleged to represent eleven women who brought forth similar accusations of drugging and assault. Since then, the couple’s VH1 show was canceled, and it was revealed T.I. won’t appear in the upcoming Ant-Man sequel.

T.I. And Tiny Challenge Their Sexual Assault Accusers To ‘Reveal Themselves Publicly’

T.I. and Tiny Harris, who were recently accused of sexual assault by a lawyer seeking criminal charges on behalf of a group of women who say the couple drugged them on separate occasions, fired back in a statement shared with Billboard after a new group of women made accusations via claims made in a statement to Page Six.

The three women joined the “dozens” of women currently employing Tyrone A. Blackburn as he urges authorities in multiple jurisdictions to pursue criminal charges against the couple. One of the women recounted a 2010 incident in Miami in which she says she was forced to swallow a pill, taken to a hotel in South Beach and forced to engage in sex with the couple, despite being unable to consent. The other two describe similar accounts of being drugged, with one claiming she was “sex trafficked in Nevada, California, and Florida.”

T.I. and Tiny previously denied the accusations, calling them a “shakedown” by Blackburn and blaming the slew of new allegations on one initial accuser, Sabrina Peterson, who they say they “have had difficulty with” for “well over a decade.” In response to the new spate of accusations, they doubled down, telling Billboard: “The Harrises are still waiting for the accusers to reveal themselves publicly. By continuing to hide behind anonymous allegations, the unnamed accusers effectively render themselves not credible and unworthy of belief. We say: Let the light shine on their identities so we can go about disproving these scurrilous accusations.”
