A woman who claims that rapper T.I. and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris drugged and raped her in 2005 has filed a new lawsuit against the couple after at least one previous case was dismissed. In 2021, the couple was accused of sexual assault by a lawyer representing 11 people who claimed to have been victimized by the couple or their entourage; criminal investigations were urged but not pursued, as the statute of limitations had passed since the alleged incidents took place.
However, under California’s Sexual Abuse and Cover Up Accountability Act, a one-year “look-back” window to file lawsuits a one-year “look-back” window to file lawsuits in cases of alleged sexual abuse with expired statues of limitations was instituted, and although it expired this year, some cases were allowed to be filed on Tuesday (January 2) due to the holiday. According to Rolling Stone, this Jane Doe plaintiff, an Air Force veteran who says she was around 22 or 23 at the time of the alleged incident, filed the 15-page lawsuit late Tuesday.
T.I. and Tiny have vehemently denied the allegations for the past three years, with T.I. even addressing the suits on the 2021 track “What It’s Come To.” In a statement, they continued to deny the accusations, writing, “This plaintiff has been threatening to file this lawsuit for THREE years. For THREE years, we have emphatically and categorically denied these allegations. For THREE years we have maintained our innocence and refused to pay these extortionate demands for things we didn’t do. For THREE years, we’ve maintained the same position while the claims in this story have changed time and time again. Our position is clear. We are innocent of these fake claims, we will not be shaken down, and we look forward to our day in court.”
Tiny Harris has spoken out in support of her son King amid a bright spotlight surrounding some recent family drama. “Man this lil dude @the_next_king10 has always been my sweetheart but a terror at the same time. Nah he ain’t frm the hood but Unlike any of his siblings he stayed in trouble fighting all the damn time & for slap boxing in school everyday like it was a sport!! But every parent with multi children know it’s always that 1!! I’m truly Blessed for mine!! My two sons telling their story in their music. #FatherLikeSons @domani support our Kings!!!” Tiny wrote on Instagram.
It comes after Domani, King’s brother, also spoke out on the situation. “I think everything King is trying to say is just coming off, he’s using the wrong words, I feel like, and I told him this. I feel like what he’s trying to say is [that] what was on TV is not exactly what actually happened, and I think he’s only trying to say that because people try to treat him. And I don’t know what be going on when he go outside. But I think he [was] just trying to say he went to school from his grandma house, he stayed at his grandma house,” Domani wrote earlier this week.
The latest spate of viral attention for King Harris and his family stems from a livestream gone wrong a few weekends ago. A livestream at a Falcons game on November 26 went sideways after King started arguing with his parents. Voices and tensions continued to rise as the two sides yelled at each other. At one point, T.I. could be heard yelling “N-gga! You are an embarrassment to your family! You are an embarrassment!” Later, King appeared to post an obscured photo from behind a car wheel. He added the text “I stand on BUSINESS. DON’T GIVE A F-CK WHO U ARE.”
Of course, the family has always found itself in the spotlight. Earlier in November, T.I. couldn’t help but clown his son, King Harris, over the latter’s new teeth. During an appearance on The Baller Alert Show, King was asked about his newly-whitened teeth. However, before he could respond, T.I. jumped in with some roasts. “Well, the tooth of the matter is…” his father said, leading to several minutes of jokes from everyone involved. Highlights included “Toothpac Shakur” and “Queen Lateethfah”. Despite this, King took it all as good fun and quickly fired off some shots of his own at the show hosts.

King Harris has spoken out after getting into a shouting match with his parents, T.I. and Tiny at the Atlanta Falcons’ game against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. T.I. had been performing at the game in honor of the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. King addressed the incident on Instagram afterward.
“I Stand on BUSINESS DONT GIVE A F*CK WHO U ARE,” King wrote. “IDGAF WHO U ARE MF CANT PLAY WIT ME N MY FACE NOT GOIN FOR DA IM A GROWN ASS MAN NOW … If ima mistake say dat stop making da world think u fw me when u DONT” He also shared a tribute for his grandmother while previewing a new song. “As long as you stay by my side,” he captioned that post.
While streaming on Instagram at the game, King claimed that he would go to his grandmother’s house because he was “getting into fights.” His mother then grabbed the phone to explain: “I’m a tell you the reason why he wanted to be over there. ‘Cause he can suck a pacifier over there ’til he was 12 years old. He didn’t do that at the house. He cried like a baby.” From there, King began yelling at someone off camera: “What’s wrong with y’all? Why ya’ll doing that to me? Y’all know me, you know I stand on business. Why would you let someone play with me like that?” In the background, T.I. says: “You are embarrassing yourself and your family.”
T.I. wasn’t the only rapper to make an appearance at the game on Sunday. The Falcons also welcomed Ludacris, Cee-Lo Green, Big Boi, Ludacris, Jeezy, and Quavo to Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the celebration of hip-hop. Be on the lookout for further updates on King Harris on HotNewHipHop.
T.I. and Tiny scored a big win in their case against Sabrina Peterson in court on Tuesday. Their former friend, who has accused them of assault, will have to pay out over $90,000 to cover legal bills that the couple accrued while getting 5 of her 7 claims dismissed. Rolling Stone reporter Nancy Dillion reported on the ruling on Twitter afterward.
“In a loss for Sabrina Peterson, judge ruled Tuesday she must pay T.I. and Tiny a whopping $96,703 to cover their legal bills in getting 5 of the 7 claims in Peterson’s original lawsuit dismissed T.I. and Tiny wanted $116,902,” Dillion wrote. She added that Peterson felt she shouldn’t have to pay anything.
T.I. & Tiny Attend Rip Michaels’ April Fools Comedy Jam
Peterson first came forward with her accusations against the couple in 2021, claiming that T.I. held a gun to her head and said, “Bitch, I’ll kill you” during a heated argument. She also cited numerous other women while accusing them of sexual and physical abuse. T.I. and Tiny vehemently denied the allegations, to which Peterson ended up filing a defamation lawsuit. T.I. and Tiny addressed Peterson’s defamation lawsuit on Monday, arguing that they meant “no malice” when they branded their assault accuser a liar.
At the time of the allegations, T.I. and Tiny released a joint statement explaining the situation. “Whatever we ever have done has been done with consensual adults who into what we into and like what we like,” T.I. said at the time. “We want something, we know exactly where to go to get it, we ain’t never forced nobody, we ain’t never drugged nobody against their will. We ain’t never held nobody against their will, we never made nobody do anything, we never trafficked anything. Well, sexually traffic, anything. I ain’t ever raped nobody.”
According to legal documents obtained by Billboard, MGA Entertainment is now seeking $6 million from T.I. The news follows T.I. and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, losing a lawsuit against the company last month. The pair had claimed that the company used the likeness of a teen pop girl group created by Tiny in 2009, the OMG Girlz, as inspiration for their popular doll collection. Tiny called the verdict “horrible” following the news.
Now, MGA is firing back. The company’s lawyers claim the lawsuit was handled improperly, and they are looking to be reimbursed for hefty legal fees. “The OMG Girlz’ litigation tactics, over-reaching claims, and misconduct — including violating one of this Court’s … rulings as to require a mistrial — justify awarding MGA the over $6.1million in fees spent litigating this matter,” the lawyers wrote.
MGA’s lawyers continued, “Both in the manner the OMG Girlz litigated this case, and the weakness of the substantive claims and theories the OMG Girlz presented (as confirmed by the jury), the Court should conclude that this case stands out from others.”
The legal battle saw the pair accuse MGA of modeling their “L.O.L. Surprise OMG Girls” dolls after the group. “The animated OMG Dolls copy the OMG Girl distinctive physical appearance, hair styles and hair colors, dress and mimic the OMG Girl released sound recordings,” T.I. and Tiny’s lawsuit against MGA read. The couple also accused the company of racism, attempting to convince a jury that the dolls showcase “cultural appropriation and outright theft of the intellectual property.” MGA’s legal team claimed the trial was unfair due to these racism accusations, and it was later ruled a mistrial. MGA’s Chief Executive Officer, Isaac Larian, said that he “feels great” following the verdict.
Nearly a week later and Chika continues to face backlash surrounding her comments about T.I. and Tiny’s grandchild. The Industry Gamesrapper aired out her grievances after Zonnique Pullins’ child sat in first class and allegedly began to cry during the red-eye flight. This led to a long-winded tirade on Twitter including a variety of insults. One of which read, “I hope you get a paper cut between each finger tomorrow, you senseless wench.” Ultimately, Tiny, Zonnique, and the babysitter fired back at Chika, who then tried to justify her Twitter rant.
Still, Chika has no remorse about targeting two children in her late night rant. After a fan asked Chika if she apologized to the mother and the child, the rapper wrote, “Why would i do that?” Still, she said her tweets weren’t personal, nor did she feel sorry for “venting about a scenario/stranger.” Ultimately, another flurry of backlash piled out yet she stood her ground on the matter and explained that she also faced insults due to the incident. “plus, shorty tried to insult me back so at THAT point, we even. she wasn’t even on the flight,” she wrote.
The nanny taking care of the two children, who weren’t actually twins, called out Chika following her initial rant and insulted her B.O. This turned into a point that people in her mentions have apparently focused on. One user called her a “musty heaux” and encouraged the rapper to “get some soap.” Chika responded, “imagine commenting on the scent of someone you can’t afford to sit beside.” She continued to explain that people only mentioned her smell because of her weight.
“btw, like i said on my story: shawty was tryna get her lick back cuz i called her and her children a plethora of names in jest. but bitch, i showered 30 min prior to boarding and my clothes were fresh out the dryer. you saw fat & thought, ‘lemme attribute a smell to her body,’” she continued.
As the internet continued to pile on, Chika concluded her rant by, once again, insulting Zonnique Pullins’ and her child. “and that’s why it’s STILL fuck your kids. i complained (rudely) for a real reason. you and your busted ass nanny just chose to be trash & lie on the internet,” she wrote. “again, choke.” Check out her tweets below.
In a recent interview with Mr. Jay Hill, Zonnique Pullins revealed that she was hurt by her mother Tiny Harris’ relationship with her stepfather T.I. during childhood, as she was with him all the time. While much of the interview was censored, the OMG girl made her feelings about the way her mother acted in her childhood explicitly clear. She also stated that, even if the issue still bothers her, she is grown and not in a position to care anymore because she’s an adult.
The OMG girl said, “I would say what hurt me is honestly my mom being with TIP all the time. Like even now, today, that’s how it is. They’re just tied to the hip,” she said. “It’s like they’d rather go places with each other, so any time, she gotta go, he gotta go.” In response to being asked about painful moments in her life, Zonnique also said that she realized that she was emotionally numb from teaching herself not to be hurt by things.
Zonnique Says That Her Mom Is Her Best Friend
Despite wishing that she had more mother-daughter moments, Zonnique holds no resentment toward her mother. In fact, she has stated multiple times that her mother is her best friend. “I don’t hold that against her that she was on the road and doing all those things. I guess I would have liked to have those mommy-daughter moments, but honestly, now that I’m a mom, I guess that’s what I would have wanted with my daughter,” she said on the Mr. Jay Hill Podcast.
The “Baddie” singer had this to say about her relationship with her parents in a 2018 Slate interview. “My mom has always been my best friend and my mother all at the same time. With my stepdad, I’ve obviously been around him my whole life, pretty much since I was 5. But I think now that I’m older and we can have those talks. We’re just really comfortable now that I’m grown. I just love my relationship with my parents, period.” What are your opinions on Tiny’s and Zonniqie’s relationship? Tell us in the comments below.
Last year Tiny Harris filed a lawsuit against the makers of the L.O.L Surprise! dolls after accusing them of copying their look from her defunct all-girl singing group the OMG Girlz. The judge has just declared a mistrial.
Bloomberg Law reports:
The maker of the popular L.O.L. Surprise! OMG Dolls was granted a mistrial in an intellectual property dispute with rapper T.I. and former teen pop group OMG Girlz, after a California federal judge determined that prohibited testimony on cultural appropriation was introduced.
Prior to trial, which began Jan. 17, Judge James V. Selna of the Central District of California barred testimony about the dolls’ alleged racist cultural appropriation.
MGA Entertainment originally sued OMG Girlz, Clifford T.I. Harris, and Xscape singer Tameka “Tiny” Harris—whose daughter, Zonnique Pullins, was a part of the music group—in December 2020. It sought a declaratory judgment that its OMG Dolls didn’t infringe on the intellectual property rights of the former band after receiving a cease and desist letter.
The OMG Girlz—who performed from 2009 to 2015—responded with counterclaims alleging misappropriation of their name and likenesses, trade dress infringement, and unfair competition. They also sought damages and an order blocking further sale of the infringing dolls. They claimed that the dolls’ names and appearances are similar
to the members of OMG Girlz, and a comparison “makes it clear that the OMG Dolls were intentionally designed to trade on the OMG Girlz’ likeness and brand.”
The OMG Girlz’ original counterclaims also alleged cultural appropriation, accusing MGA Entertainment and its CEO Isaac Larian of using his “doll business to misappropriate the likeness of Black female artists.” Those claims were removed in subsequent filings, and Selna granted MGA’s motion to exclude mention of that claim at trial.
T.I.’s son, King Harris, grew up in front of the world during the height of the rapper’s musical career. He first introduced himself on Family Hustle when he was in elementary school but since then, his formative years have been in the spotlight which means that any and all mistakes he makes are under a microscope.
King Harris has found himself getting in trouble with the law, and also facing backlash for aligning himself with the streets. However, T.I. explained that his son has only acted up because he didn’t want to live off of the success of his parents.
“I have excellent communication with all my kids. I try to listen as much as I speak to them. [King’s] position is, ‘I just don’t want to be celebrities’ kid. I don’t want to live off of y’all’s success. I don’t wanna have to just be in y’all’s shadow,’” Tip told Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay.
“[King] wants a clean slate. I try to tell him he’ll never have that,” T.I. continued. “You were born with it. You can’t give it back… I love him and I understand he has a strong sense of moral standards and integrity.”
Due to King’s actions, T.I. often faces backlash for his parenting skills. Still, he pointed out that he’s absolutely not the only parents who have to deal with their child’s behavioral issues. For any family with more than three children, T.I explained that there’s bound to be at least one child that goes against the grain.
“As much criticism I received about my son, I would like to shed light on the fact – we all got badass kids! They can seem like I’m the only one on here who got badass kids,” he said.
Last year, police arrested King Harris for not wearing his seatbelt in a car. However, Tip addressed the situation, claiming his son will be locked up if his behavior doesn’t change.
