Tiffany Haddish Reaches Settlement with Alleged Sexual Assault Victims

Tiffany Haddish Weighs In On Wearing Bonnets In Public Controversy

Tiffany Haddish has reportedly reached a settlement with the two alleged victims who sued her for sexual assault. According to Radar Online, Haddish worked out an agreement privately.

A lawsuit filed against Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears states the two comedians groomed a 14-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy. TMZ states that Haddish and Spears are accused of coercing the two minors into explicit skits.

The siblings, identifying as Jane and John Doe, state they have endured lifelong trauma. The boy added that he was molested by both defends.

In the lawsuit, Jane Doe stated Haddish taught her how to mimic fellatio for a skit that would be filmed for “Funny or Die.” Haddish allegedly brought John Doe to Spears and molested him while filming a video titled “Through a Pedophiles Eyes.”

Haddish moved the case from state to federal court and temporarily sealed the complaint due to images of minor John undressed. The case remained sealed throughout due to John still being a minor.

A dollar amount was not disclosed, but as part of the deal Haddish is to publicly apologize for her role in the skits and to recant that the suit was a shakedown.

Comedians Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears are being sued for allegedly grooming two children.  A lawsuit filed against the two from a 22-year-old woman, Jane Doe claims they groomed the two siblings.

The filing alleges child sexual abuse when the 14-year-old girl and a seven-year-old boy, were convinced into performing sexual acts for comedy skits that were video taped.

The John Doe in the suit also claims Spears and Haddish molested him while filming a “Funny or Die” video titled “Through a Pedophile’s Eyes.” In the sketch, Haddish allegedly played the boy’s mother and Spears portrayed a pedophile.

Haddish’s attorney says the lawsuit is nothing more than an extortion attempt, and that the plaintiffs have been trying to assert the claims for years.

According to the New York Post, the attorney for Spears, said the comedian “isn’t going to fall for any shakedown.”

Funny or Die said it immediately removed the video after it became aware of it. “We were not involved with the conceptualization, development, funding, or production of this video. Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears Accused of Grooming and Molestation, Haddish’s Attorney Says Accusations are a Shakedown

A lawsuit filed against Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears states the two comedians groomed a 14-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy. TMZ states that Haddish and Spears are accused of coercing the two minors into explicit skits.

In the lawsuit, Jane Doe stated Haddish taught her how to mimic fellatio for a skit that would be filmed for “Funny or Die.” Haddish allegedly brought John Doe to Spears and molested him while filming a video titled “Through a Pedophiles Eyes.”

In response, Haddish’s attorney, Andrew Brettler, stated the lawsuit was an extortion attempt. He said, “Plaintiff’s mother, Trizah Morris, has been trying to assert these bogus claims against Ms. Haddish for several years.”

“Every attorney who has initially taken on her case — and there were several — ultimately dropped the matter once it became clear that the claims were meritless and Ms. Haddish would not be shaken down. Now, Ms. Morris has her adult daughter representing herself in this lawsuit. The two of them will together face the consequences of pursuing this frivolous action.”

Jane Doe states she is fearful to date out of fear of being “led down a path of false trust like the path that Haddish led her down.” In addition, both siblings have expressed social disorders. Previously, the mother attempted to secure a $15,000 settlement.

In a separate statement, “Funny or Die” has denied all involvement in the incident.

“Funny Or Die found this video absolutely disgusting and would never produce such content. We were not involved with the conceptualization, development, funding, or production of this video. It was uploaded to the site as user-generated content and was removed in 2018 immediately after becoming aware of its existence.”

Tiffany Haddish Reveals She Used Her ‘Girls Trip’ Check to Pay Off Her Home in Fear of Being Homeless Again

Tiffany Haddish

Tiffany Haddish skyrocketed in popularity after her hilarious role in Girls Trip. In the film, she starred alongside Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah, and Regina Hall. In the past, Haddish revealed she was paid $80,000 for her role, but in a new Cosmopolitan cover story written by Sylvia Obell, she revealed she used all the money to pay off her home in fear of being homeless again.

Haddish bought the home after completing the first season of The Carmichael Show, and after being homeless before, she decided not to have that obstacle again.

“I started trying to figure out how to create generational wealth. The fastest way to do it and the first way you should go about doing it is buy some land,” Haddish said. “So before we even got into Season 2 of ‘The Carmichael Show,’ I bought a house. Everybody told me I should wait, but I didn’t care. I just knew I was going to have to always make enough money to take care of me and the house, and that’s what I did.”

She added, Between that show’s next season, the ‘Keanu’ movie, and making sure I can live comfortably off $500 a month, I was able to pay off half the house. The ‘Girls Trip’ check was the final check.”

Haddish revealed she used the money to pay off the house because she was “always afraid of being homeless again.” She added she is still afraid of being poor again, and after every movie, she buys another piece of land or a house.

Tiffany Haddish Says She Received Usher’s Blessing For Her Herpes Joke

Tiffany Haddish recently spoke with Cosmopolitan, in which she opened up about her comedic craft. While it’s customary for celebrity comedians to poke fun at other celebrities, some are often caught off guard by certain jokes. Haddish, on the other hand, makes sure she receives permission to use certain jokes in which a specific celebrity is the target.

Haddish offered a joke about R&B singer Usher as an example.

“I got this joke, ‘I curse you out with joy. I hope that you spread it. I hope you spread it like Usher spreads herpes.’ I have said that in front of Usher,” said Haddish.

According to Haddish, Usher told her “Your ass is crazy.”

“I said, ‘Yeah, well, there’s a rumor out there saying you got herpes,” she said. ‘I don’t know if you do or don’t, but that sh*t is funny.’”

The joke refers to a few 2017 lawsuits, in which a handful of women accused Usher of passing them herpes. Haddish said Usher agreed that the joke was funny, however, if he hadn’t, she would be willing to withhold the joke from her set.

“If he had said, ‘Tiff, don’t say that no more. I don’t like it. I’m not comfortable with you saying that,’ I would stop saying it,” Haddish said.

Haddish currently has several film and television projects in the world, including a remake of Disney’s Haunted Mansion. She is also currently working on music with Lil Wayne and Snoop Dogg.
