Tyler The Creator’s Golf Le Fleur season 2 collection is out now with everything from animal print-lined blazers to silk button-ups, along with accessories like Tyler’s signature ushanka hat, silk ties, and the coziest-looking cable knit socks, designed in collaboration with Goldtoe. Here’s how you can get your hands on a pair — or rather, your feet INTO them.

Hit the Golf Le Fleur season 2 collection for a pair, which cost $50 for a pack of three and come in three colors: sky blue, black, and cream. While you’re there, you can also pick up a pair of chain loafers, a tortoiseshell hair pick, a wallet, or even silk scarves. The Le Fleur collection definitely takes direction from Tyler’s recent looks while promoting Call Me If You Get Lost, with knit polos, leopard-print sweater vests, and loud patterned shirts, all in a wealth of eye-popping pastels and Tyler’s signature attention to details.

The collection ends the Grammy-winning rapper’s year on a high note after 12 months full of them. Early in the year, Tyler dropped the deluxe edition of his most recent album, surprised fans at Coachella by appearing during his friend Kali Uchis’ set, bought a huge mansion in Bel Air, and brought back his Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, which received a hearty response from fans.

Will Smith Admits To Biting Rakim’s Style On “Summertime”

Will Smith says that he was “absolutely” trying to copy Rakim’s style on his hit song, “Summertime.” During the GRAMMY Salute to 50 Years of Hip Hop event, earlier this month, the rapper-turned-actor admitted to biting the legendary artist’s style.

“I was absolutely trying to sound like you on ‘Summertime,’” Smith began. “‘Cause I had been screaming all night, and I couldn’t get my ‘happy-go-lucky’ high voice. And [the producer] just said, ‘Yo, just gimme that Rakim shit.’” Rakim later shared the clip on Instagram with the caption: “All love.”

Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff dropped “Summertime” as the lead single from their fourth studio album, Homebase, back in 1991. It won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group at the 1992 Grammy Awards after reaching No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was the duo’s second win in the category after taking home the inaugural award for “Parents Just Don’t Understand” in 1989. Check out Smith’s latest comments on the comparisons to Rakim below.

Rakim previously revealed that he and Eric B. actually had similarly sampled “Summer Madness” by Kool & The Gang for a single of their own. “Nah, it was ironic that me and Eric B. had sampled it, and we had it ready to go,” he told HipHopDX in 2016. “But when they came out with it, a lot of people thought it was me because of the style [Will] used. But it was one of those things where that was them. I didn’t write it. That was Will and Jeff.” Be on the lookout for further updates on Will Smith on HotNewHipHop.

When Does Golf Le Fleur’s Season 2 Line Come Out?

Tyler The Creator’s latest Golf Le Fleur collection is “for the sun seekers.” The collection is due to release in Tyler’s Golf stores on December 9, while it’ll be available to purchase online beginning December 13. You can find more info here.

In a new short film showing off the “season 2” collection, a bus accident prompts a police offers to compel the passengers to form a parade of fashionable witnesses to give their statements. The bus was occupied (of course) by Tyler and his friends, including Anwar Carrots, Lil Yachty, and more.

A split screen highlights the details of each elegant, retro-inspired piece, which includes suits, outerwear, shoes, and even umbrellas and a deerstalker cap. The backing track is called “Duplo Sentido” by Gilberto Gil and Tetê Da Bahia. The whole thing is shot like a Wes Anderson movie, and now I can’t wait for Tyler to start directing feature-length films.

If the high-end collection is too rich for your blood (or just not your style), Tyler has also announced Golf Holiday shops at his permanent Golf locations, as well as pop-up shops around the world. They’ll be offering both exclusive items from the brand’s Fall/Winter collection and Golf Essentials, so you can get fitted for the remainder of the cold season.

How Much Are Travis Scott’s Air Jordan 1 Low OG ‘Black Olive’ Sneakers?

Travis Scott dropped Utopia in late July, and he’s currently bringing his Utopia — Circus Maximus Tour across North America. He also possesses the key to every sneakerhead’s ultimate utopia every time he collaborates with Jordan Brand. In October, he unleashed the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low Golf Neutral Olive, and it would appear that he’s preparing another drop for around the same time next year.

The rumor mill was ignited by zSneakerHeadz sharing a “first look at the 2024 Travis Scott x Jordan 1 Low OG” in the “Black/Olive” colorway. The source also noted that Scott is eyeing a fall 2024 release.

That is all we know, and it’s not much. If this speculative information is correct, then the new pair will be in the same vein as the olive-colored Air Jordan 1 Low that arrived this April. According to the Nike listing, the Women’s Air Jordan 1 Low x Travis Scott “Medium Olive” retailed at $150, while the aforementioned “Neutral Olive” Air Jordan 1 Love Golf went for $170. It wouldn’t be totally off-base to use those prices to ballpark what the rumored Air Jordan 1 Low OG might cost you if/when it becomes available. (That is not to speak of the exorbitant prices on resale sites.)

Travis Scott’s got some new sneakers on the way. He has once again teamed up with Jordan Brand/Nike to release another pair of olive-infused Air Jordan 1s, this time with a black base. Photos of the samples surfaced online, sparking excitement from hypebeasts who can’t get enough of Scott’s Nike collabs (another of which is coming later this month in the form of the Mac Attack worn by the tennis legend John McEnroe). So, how can you get some Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 low “Black Olives?”

Unfortunately, details about the release are limited at this time. While the Instagram accounts and blogs posting about the sneakers note that they are ostensibly due sometime in Fall of 2024, previous releases were dropped at select retailers and on Nike’s SNKRS app (which caused no shortage of hurt feelings over the Ls that were taken for those prior releases). Of course, there’s also the the old standby, StockX, and similar resale sites, where you can try your luck (and pay a markup). We’ll likely find out more closer to the release date, which will probably be sometime in 2024, as the next upcoming release is for the Mac Attacks. Stay tuned for more info.

It’s time to shine the hypebeast signal; Travis Scott (apparently) has a new set of Jordan 1s coming. This time, he’s once again dabbling in an olive-based color scheme, inverting the blocking on the popular original pair he released back in April. The “Black Olive” colorway swaps the white and olive details from that shoe, putting the white on the Swoosh and the olive on the majority of the upper. While the prior white pair was a women’s exclusive, Nike/Jordan has yet to reveal whether that same restriction will apply this time around.

According to SneakerNews, the most reliable source at the moment, this pair is rumored to have a release sometime next fall. The blog also has images of a sample pair, courtesy of Instagram.

This is the third pair of Air Jordan 1 low-tops that Scott has collaborated on with Nike/Jordan, most recently releasing the “Neutral Olive” golf shoe in October. They were released through a few golf shops, with one store even requiring customers to hit a 200-yard drive before being added to its lottery.

Meanwhile, the Travis Scott shoe fans have been hankering for since its announcement earlier this year is finally dropping soon. Scott’s version of tennis legend John McEnroe’s signature Mac Attack is set to drop on December 19th. May the odds be ever in your favor.

When Does Drake’s Kevin Durant-Approved NOCTA ‘Basketball’ Collection Come Out?

NOCTA

Drake’s love of basketball is well-documented, from his friendships with NBA stars to his noted gambling habit to his alleged purchase of $100,000 rings to celebrate a championship win in his rec league.

So, it’s only natural that his clothing line with Nike, NOCTA, would eventually get a line of basketball apparel and gear, along with a campaign featuring NBA all-star Kevin Durant. Durant previously appeared in Drake’s “Laugh Now, Cry Later” video featuring Lil Durk, which was shot at Nike’s Oregon headquarters campus. Here’s how you can get your hands on the new collection before it inevitably sells out and ends up on StockX for triple the price.

You can pull up (heh) on Nocta.com to check out the options currently in stock, which include basketball jerseys (of course) and shorts (absolutely), basketballs (naturally), shoes (they are Zoom Flight 95s, fam, just get those instead), base layer tops (why not), shooting sleeves (alright), socks (sure), and a “sideline trench” jacket (oh… kay). There are also tights, briefs, and caps if you want to go all out on the Drake-branded apparel thing, and a $400 Goretex rain jacket, which — where the hell are you planning to play? The usual assortment of sweats, tees, and the like are also on display, including pants with a Swarovski crystal Swoosh logo.

Dog, I swear, if you show up at a run with those on, you better play like Kevin Durant. Guys around my way aren’t having it.

Starting November 8 at 7 am PT / 10 am ET, you can also grab everything (except those crystal pants, I’m warning you, don’t do it) on the SNKRS app.

Here’s How To Buy Rihanna’s Fenty x Puma Avanti Sneakers

The holiday season is upon us. Most musicians are focused on pumping out the festive tunes to serve as the soundtrack to these gatherings. “Umbrella” singer Rihanna, on the other hand, has her eyes fixed on the gift exchanges. From her Fenty cosmetic line to her Savage X Fenty lingere to her footwear relaunch with Puma, the mother of two has all the bases covered.

Are you looking to snag a product from the recording artist? Here’s how to buy Rihanna’s Fenty x Puma Avanti sneakers.

Unlike what often happens with some other popular footwear companies, the sneakers aren’t hidden behind an app and they don’t require shoppers to enter a raffle: The Avanti sneakers can be purchased at locations offering the line. In addition to in-person options, Avantis can be ordered directly on the Puma website. The kicks, which range from $75 to $160, are available in two colors: deep myrtle and club avy (green and blue) in women, men, and children’s sizes.

In an interview with Vogue, Rihanna opened up about reconnecting with the brand to revive the line, saying, “It’s a bit of a family reunion. Coming back to Puma as a mom, in a new space, allowed for new perspectives and ideas. This time around, we expanded our creations to kids, ’cause I selfishly want my boys in everything their dad and I wear or design.”

The Fenty x Puma Avanti by Rihanna is on sale now, at retailers where the line is sold, and on the brand’s official website. Find more information here.

Billie Eilish’s Dyed Hair Leads To Hilarious Weather Map Comparisons

Billie Eilish’s style has arguably defined a whole generation of pop music fans and beyond, due to her idiosyncrasy and carefree energy. However, with such acclaim comes a fair share of experimenting, all of which she’s brushed off against haters or people making fun of her looks online. In the most recent example of this, the “my strange addiction” singer drew fans’ attention- and comical jokes- thanks to her new hairstyle. In new pictures, she showed off a swirl of red, orange, yellow, and green in her hair that had fans comparing her to a weather channel forecast. It’s quite comical in context, but the Los Angeles native probably knew exactly what she was doing with it, so your jokes aren’t new or lost on her.

Furthermore, whether it’s for her everyday fashion choices or her statements within the scene, she’s always going to cause a lot of conversation. Probably the biggest area in which Billie Eilish succeeded in this regard is her hyped sneaker collaborations. For example, most recently, she dropped “Fire Red” and “White/Black” variations of her Nike Air Alpha Force 88 collab. No matter what kind of sneakerhead you are, there’s a very good chance that the 21-year-old has her name on a pair you really like.

Billie Eilish’s New Weather Channel-Like Dyed Hairstyle

In addition, these style endeavors, plus her status as a massive pop star, have garnered her a lot of acclaim and respect within hip-hop. It’s a love that Billie Eilish started expressing for the culture that they then reciprocated, like when she sent Nicki Minaj a pair of her aforementioned Alpha Forces. However, it’s also a relationship that fell under much scrutiny, whether it’s her against the game or the game against her. Lil Yachty recently referenced her body on a bar from his For All The Dogs-featured Drake collab, “Another Late Night.”

What’s more is that Billie actually seemed to cosign this bar, even if it’s a bit objectifying for such a young figure. Regardless of all that, anyone can look at this new hairstyle and laugh at the comparison. More than anything, she seems to take all the acclaim and attention in stride, and not focusing on the negative aspects or dressing for someone else’s clout-chase.
