Issa Rae has come a long way from her Awkward Black Girl days. Her HBO series, Insecure, helped people fall in love with the multi-talent both on-screen and off. Now she’s continuing to flex her writing skills with her successful Rap Sh!t show. As we eagerly await the second season premiere of that next month, Issa’s fans have gotten their fix of her talent thanks to Barbie, which finally arrived in theatres on July 20. The 38-year-old appears alongside Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as the President of Barbieland. She previously admitted to taking notes on Vice President Kamala Harris’ behaviour for her role.

The highly anticipated movie’s press tour ended early due to the ongoing SAG strike. This allowed Issa to head back home and enjoy the summer sunshine. Like many of her castmates, she’s been wearing plenty of pink lately, with her most recent look coming from Beyonce’s Ivy Park collection. On Sunday (July 22), the Los Angeles native’s Instagram feed lit up with a new series of photos that show her sipping a drink by the pool in a brightly coloured, strappy bikini.

According to a tweet from @PopCrave, Rae’s latest project has locked down the biggest domestic opening of 2023, biggest opening ever for a female director, and biggest opening for a movie based on a toy. In addition to that, it’s officially become the lead actors’ most successful opening in their careers to date.

Ice Spice Fan Appears To Faint During Her Rolling Loud Miami Set

Ice Spice recently took on Rolling Loud Miami, performing her hits to a crowd of eager fans. One fan, however, looked to get a little bit too excited. In a gag posted on Rolling Loud’s TikTok, a man frantically shouts in support of the rapper as she performs on stage. When she turns her back to the audience and begins to twerk, the man drops to the ground. The superfan appeared to pass out, and security flocked to him to fan him off. He’s then seen being carried away by personnel.

The 23-year-old performed her brand new track “Deli” for the first time over the weekend, dubbing herself “miss poopie” in some snaps from the fest. The rapper rocked a simple, cropped pink velour jacket and denim shorts, complete with some fishnet tights and a pair of boots.

On Friday (July 21), Ice Spice also dropped the deluxe edition of her Like..? EP. She delivered fans four new tracks. In two of them, she appears to take aim at her fellow female MC, Latto. On “Butterfly Ku,” Ice Spice raps, “Where she at? On the floor / She gettin’ money, but I’m gettin’ more.” Fans quickly noticed that she appears to be referencing Latto’s hit “Put It On Da Floor.” Lyrics to the deluxe EP’s opener “How High?” also seemingly dissed Latto. She raps, “Now she all on the floor when I kick in the door / How you mad I do less ’cause you gotta do more?” 

Ice Spice has been rising to the top for months now, recently appearing alongside Nicki Minaj on the Barbie movie soundtrack. The duo previously took over the charts with their “Princess Diana (Remix)” collab earlier this year. During a recent interview with Zane Lowe, Ice Spice detailed how emotional it was for her to meet her collaborator. She revealed that she even started crying when Nicki hugged her, calling the meeting a “full-circle moment.”

Doja Cat’s career is illustrious enough to the point where she doesn’t have to depend on social media to get her name out there. As such, pretty much anything she does on Internet platforms seems to be for fun, yet ends up causing a lot of conversation. Moreover, the artist’s recent photo dump on Instagram sees her sporting a bloody nose, and fake or real, she does not shy away from it at all. While smiling for the camera and putting her face up, close, and personal with it, she didn’t bother to clean herself up- at least, for the first couple of pictures. Eventually, the Los Angeles native included some mirrored snaps and a lo-fi pic of her in a colorful pink crop-top and white headband.

Of course, Doja Cat often posts a lot of provocative, sultry, hilarious, or downright bizarre photographs on her Instagram and Twitter, in particular. For example, for 4th of July, she recently posted nearly nude pics with an American-flag bikini eating hot dogs and popsicles. Sure, it got people talking, but fans buzzed about the 27-year-old earlier this year for very different reasons. With the release of “Attention” in mid-June, it’s finally time for another Doja album cycle, which might be her best yet.

In an Instagram Story posted today (July 12), he showcases a rainbow LV trunk, which he reportedly purchased at Pharrell’s auction last year. The auction featured various pieces of clothing, jewelry, and more, bringing in over $5 million. A Travis Scott fan page was able to link the trunk posted by Travis to the one auctioned by Pharrell last October. The trunk sold for $121,250.

Pharrell’s auctioned LV trunk isn’t the only notable arm candy Travis has been spotted with recently. In the past few months, Travis has been spotted various times alongside security personnel holding a briefcase labeled UTOPIA. Some fans think that the highly-anticipated upcoming album will be released later this month. Earlier this week, he announced that he’d be performing at the the pyramids in Egypt on July 28. Pharrell has been showing off his own Louis Vuitton lately, being photographed with a bright yellow speedy bag reportedly worth $1 million. The “millionaire speedy” is part of Pharrell’s first collection as the creative director of menswear at LV. ‘Fresh Pair’ Returns With A Special Episode Starring Bun B

Fresh Pair is back, baby! Sneaker artist extraordinaire Katty Customs and legendary hip-hop producer Just Blaze have teamed up once again — taking their sneaker customization operation to the city of Austin, Texas for a special live episode starring UGK alum, Bun B.

A renowned sneakerhead in his own right, Bun is no stranger to a fire pair of kicks, considering that and the fact that the Fresh Pair team was visiting Bun’s home state, Katty and Just Blaze had their work cut out for them and nailing the right design was of paramount importance. We won’t spoil the reveals for you here (it’s a lot more fun to watch) but we will say that Bun was beyond impressed with what Katty and Blaze cooked up, inspiring the legend to share never-before-heard stories from his come-up and lengthy career.
