Diddy Sees Generous Increase In Streaming Numbers Following Indictment

Streaming numbers fluctuate all the time. Very rarely do they go up during a controversial time for an artist, though. Sure, there’s a few outliers, but it happens once in a blue moon. Diddy happens to be one of those cases, as his streaming numbers are seeing a nice bump, according to Luminate (via TMZ). The in-demand data and analytics company says that since his arrest/indictment, there’s been a 18.3% increase. At the time of writing, he’s at just over 9.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify. There could be a handful of explanations for this, so let’s briefly analyze them.

One could be that the internet is trying to uncover any sort of incriminating/revealing lyrics or themes in his music. With how many old clips from interviews, TV shows, and more that hip-hop sleuths are rediscovering, we could certainly those same people checking out his large discography. The other potential is that he’s just got a lot of loyal listeners out there who like to “separate the artist from the person”.

Diddy’s Streaming Stats Update, According to Luminate

Kanye West may not be the most ideal comparison. But given how constantly he’s ruffling feathers it does warrant some consideration. He’s so massive that no matter what he does, fans are going to come back for more. Diddy may not be as talented or have as many individual hits as Ye, but he’s got tons of influence overall. Outside of his Michigan inmate lawsuit win, this could be the last small W for Diddy.

What are your thoughts on Diddy’s streaming numbers increasing amid his arrest? Do you think people are revisiting his catalog to find incriminating lyrics? Or do you think there are just supporters out there just bumping his stuff out of pure love? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. ASAP Rocky, J. Cole, & The Alchemist’s “Ruby Rosary” Sees Eye-Popping Streaming Debut

ASAP Rocky is apparently just two weeks away from finally releasing his highly awaited fourth album, DON’T BE DUMB. Genius is claiming that September 20 will be the day, which is nearly a whole month later after fans were expecting it on August 30. After being left in the dark about the delay, Rocky cleared things up, saying, “LEAKS & SAMPLE CLEARANCES ARE DISRUPTING THE ALBUM. ITS BEEN 6 YEARS & I WANNA MAKE THE BEST ALBUM EVER. IM SORRY FOR THE WAIT”. While we all continue to impatiently wait for it, the A$AP Mob member has been tiding us over with a slew of singles.

The most recent of them is “Ruby Rosary” with J. Cole and producing legend, The Alchemist. Out of all of the tracks leading up to the project, this could be our favorite one. The production is dark, mysterious, and grungy in all the best ways, and Rocky and Cole put forth some dizzying and hypnotic flows. As with most tracks this year, the record was generating some potential diss buzz with Drake being the main target once again.

ASAP Rocky’s “Ruby Rosary” Is Off To A Roaring Start

That could helping the streaming numbers a bit, but we don’t think Rocky’s concerned enough to send subliminals, especially someone he says he’s not worried about. “Ruby Rosary” is fantastic on its own without the “Drake stimulus package” and fans seem to agree. According to Hip Hop All Day, the single is already doing some pretty serious work on DSPs. At the time of writing, it has over 1.9 million streams and it debuted with 1.7. The hype is real once again and hopefully it will translate over to the album once it arrives.

What are your thoughts on ASAP Rocky, J. Cole, and The Alchemist ‘s “Ruby Rosary” raking in over 1.7 million streams in its debut? Will this go on to be one of Rocky’s best songs ever or just on DON’T BE DUMB? Is the strongest single so far? Does this get you even more ready for the album? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding ASAP Rocky, J. Cole, and The Alchemist. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on in the music world.

Drake Nabs Impressive Streaming Numbers For “100 GIGS” Cuts

Drake’s new 100 GIGS songs landed on streaming after a UMG takedown on Instagram, and fans couldn’t be happier with the increased accessibility. Moreover, it seems like they’re really enjoying these cuts so far, as “It’s Up” featuring Young Thug and 21 Savage was the top new rap debut of the weekend alongside “Blue Green Red,” garnering 2.01 million streams in its opening day on Spotify. This achievement resulted in – you guessed it – more annoying discourse from the 6ix’s Stans and Kendrick Lamar disciples about their battle. One side is delusional enough to pretend that people actually thought The Boy’s career would be over after “Not Like Us” and are happy to point out the obvious truth, and the other just can’t stop their gloating for better or worse.

Nevertheless, Drake fans ate this weekend, and they also got some brand-new speculative beef updates to defend their fav over. You might have noticed that the men’s basketball cohort for Team USA at the 2024 Olympics got congratulations from both Drizzy and his bodyguard Chubbs for winning the gold medal over France. The latter individually congratulated Steph Curry (who the Toronto superstar posted on his Finsta), Kevin Durant, Jayson Tatum… but not LeBron James, further fueling rumors that there’s a rift between LBJ and OVO that haven’t really been cleared up effectively.

Drake Puts Up Big Spotify Numbers With 100 GIGS

Well, that’s if you care; if you don’t, then it’s just business as usual for two massive celebrities that can’t keep track of the friendships and presumed loyalties that no one told them they had to defend and isolate forever. Elsewhere, Kendrick Lamar is also continually finding commercial success these days too, as “Not Like Us” became the most streamed diss track of all time.

While fans “restored order” to the Spotify monthly listeners rankings and Drake is now over K.Dot again, hopefully more consistent release from either artist means that the fallout around their battle lessens more and more. After all, they surely have more things to talk about and other things on their mind that they want to artistically pursue. But we’ll have to wait and see. For now, let’s witness how these new cuts age in Aubrey Graham’s discography.

Drake Maintains Most-Streamed Rapper Title Despite Kendrick Lamar’s Success

It goes without saying that Drake’s had a rough go over the past few months. Luckily, that doesn’t appear to have impacted his impressive streaming streak. Reportedly, the Toronto-born performer was the most streamed rapper on Spotify in the month of June, and it was far from the first time. He’s been the most-streamed rapper on the platform every single month of this year, which is certainly something to brag about.

While Drizzy’s fiercely loyal fanbase isn’t at all surprised by his latest feat, some social media users were skeptical that he’d be able to pass up Kendrick Lamar again. After all, he just recently unveiled an eagerly anticipated music video for “Not Like Us,” and performed a slew of hits at his Pop Out show in LA.

Drake Comes Out On Top Again With Spotify Streams

Needless to say, it looks like his viral feud hasn’t done much to hinder the success of his music. If anything, it’s likely to have boosted it, as he’s got more eyes on him than ever these days. In this case, that’s a good thing for the “Family Matters” artist. Unfortunately, however, that also currently makes him a magnet for criticism. Earlier this week, for example, he took to Instagram with a few black-and-white shots of himself sipping on a cup of tea, prompting outrage from social media users.

While some simply mocked him for the dramatic photoshoot, those paying close attention to the feud have been waiting for him to address Kendrick’s latest moves and were quick to ridicule him for failing to do so right away. What do you think of Drake keeping up his streaming streak in June? Are you surprised or not? Did you think he would be dethroned by Kendrick Lamar? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Megan Thee Stallion’s New Album Reportedly Loses 30 Million Streams Due To Alleged Botting

Late last month, Megan Thee Stallion finally unveiled her eagerly anticipated new album, Megan. So far, it’s been a hit among the Texas-born performer’s fanbase, boasting features from the likes of GloRilla and Victoria Monet. Unfortunately, however, it was recently reported by No Jumper that she’s had 30 million streams removed from the album on Spotify. This is rumored to be due to the platform detecting “bot-like” streams. The reason the streams were removed has yet to be confirmed.

Regardless, the reports have social media users split. While many are coming to Meg’s defense, as it’s likely she has nothing to do with the alleged botting, others have been reminded of some of her own “Hiss” lyrics about having bots instead of fans. Nicki Minaj and Tory Lanez supporters in particular are unsurprisingly putting her on blast as a result.

Megan Thee Stallion Called Out For Alleged Bot Use

At the time of writing, Meg has yet to address the botting allegations. It doesn’t seem as though she’s been too fazed by them, however. She recently took to Instagram to promote the European leg of her “Hot Girl Summer” tour alongside Ms Banks. She’s also been teasing some non-music-related endeavors as of late, including an upcoming twerk-out video, and her own tequila brand. A timeline for those projects hasn’t been announced yet, though she gave fans a first look at her tequila in May. At the time, she claimed that it would be arriving “soon.”

She also just recently appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, celebrated her new album with a star-studded release party, and more. What do you think of rumors that Megan Thee Stallion had 30 million Megan streams removed due to botting? How are you liking her latest release? Kendrick Lamar & His “Pop Out” Guests See Major Streaming Boost After LA Show

Joe Budden Asserts That Kendrick Lamar Did Use Bots During Drake Beef & He Couldn’t Care Less

It seems clear that Drake fans are hanging onto this Kendrick Lamar debate by a thread. Over the last day or so, there has been some speculation surrounding the use of bots, particularly on the latter’s side. Of course, one of those Drizzy supporters who has been leading the charge has been DJ Akademiks. To try and make his case for how the Canadian artist technically won the battle, he brought on an alleged stream botter who was supposedly paid off by Lamar’s manager, Anthony Saleh. He had a screenshot of the Zelle transfer, equating to a $2500 payout. However, not a lot of people online are buying this, as it could very well be a hoax. But Joe Budden is one of those who actually believes that Kendrick Lamar did utilize bots.

A clip from today’s podcast, which is 734 deep, was shared on X moments ago debating this very topic. In the 40-second breakdown, Joe Budden goes as far as to claim that he knew Lamar was boosting his numbers to outpace Drake. While this is still all up in the air right now, it could leave a bit of a stain on how dominant Kung Fu Kenny was during the beef. However, if this true, Joe could not care less even if he really tried.

Joe Budden Believes Kendrick Did & Isn’t Shocked At All

In a completely flat and passionless delivery, the podcast host says, “Y’all didn’t know that Kendrick used bots? You thought that this was just the first time miraculously that a Drake record ever had more dislikes than likes or you didn’t know that was bots? Bots to me was a part of how you win the war versus Drake”. Budden also went onto to claim that Drake was also a culprit of bot usage during this, which is another interesting development. As expected, there were several Drake fans who were not happy with his take. “Bitter Budden strikes again. How u gunna sit there and act like botting streams is normal and accepted😂😂😂😂😂. Drake never had a chance with these fools”.

What are your thoughts on Joe Budden’s reaction to Kendrick Lamar allegedly using bots during the Drake beef? Are you surprised that he had such a passionless reaction, why or why not? Do you think Kendrick actually used the help of bots to boost streaming numbers? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Kendrick Lamar Drake Diss Records Make Up Nearly Half Of His Daily Spotify Streams

In wake of the Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef, it appears the kid from Compton, California has come out on top. There will be a few staunch Drake fans that will swear that he indeed reigns supreme. But most hip-hop fans would come to the conclusion that K-Dot laid the smack down on the Canadian wonder kid. Many were of the opinion that he earned the W after dropping “meet the grahams,” and that “Not Like Us” was just him dancing on his grave. Drake stans will pop out every now and again to say that he is still the superior rapper because of the numbers he puts up when he drops. However, people siding with Kendrick can argue that point too after they hear about his Drake diss streams.

A post from the X account Kurrco has just surfaced and the daily plays Lamar is raking in is absolutely absurd. The data shows that on Spotify, all of the diss records are pulling in nearly 50% of those numbers. To be exact, the final percentage sits at an astounding 43.8% The same user revealed that Kendrick dwarfs Drake’s, which sits at a measly 7.9% To be fair to The Boy, he only uploaded “Push Ups” and “Family Matters” to Spotify.

Kendrick Lamar Has Further Proof That He Demolished Drake

These stats make a lot of sense, as “Not Like Us,” “euphoria,” “Like That,” and “meet the grahams,” all sit in his top 10 most popular. Furthermore, if you head over to the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Kendrick claims three spots in the top 10 in that department as well. Every one of the aforementioned tracks, excluding “meet the grahams” are at number one, three, and six, respectively. “Not Like Us,” which sees Dot beat Drake at his own game by creating a brutal diss hit, debuted at number one and has over 121 million streams.

What are your thoughts on Kendrick Lamar receiving almost half of his streaming numbers from Drake diss tracks? Do you this is just further proof that he won the beef, why or why not? Kendrick Lamar Breaks Spotify Record With His Catchy Drake Diss “Not Like Us”

Kendrick Lamar has been putting in a whole lot of work over the past week. Overall, this has all been in the name of trying to take down Drake. Firstly, he came through with “Euphoria.” Secondly, he dropped off “6:16 In LA” which was a means of taunting the megastar. Once Drake dropped “Family Matters,” Kendrick came through just 20 minutes later with “Meet The Grahams.” Of all of the songs in the feud, this one is the most haunting and disturbing. It almost felt like a horror movie thanks to The Alchemist’s production.

On Saturday, Kendrick Lamar decided to pour salt into the wound. He did so with the track “Not Like Us,” a West Coast anthem that has people dancing along to pedophile allegations. There is only one artist who could get people to do that, and it just so happens to be Kendrick. As it turns out, “Not Like Us” is such a success that it is currently breaking Spotify records. According to Chart Data, it had the biggest single-day stream of a hip-hop song in the history of American Spotify. The original title holder was Drake and Lil Baby for “Girls Want Girls.”

Kendrick Lamar Is Moving The Needle

Kendrick’s diss tracks seem to be charting incredibly well right now. In fact, it is believed that “Euphoria” could very well end up being the biggest song in the world come next week. It is an impressive feat, especially when you consider how diss tracks are not meant to do these kinds of numbers. However, when the two biggest artists go at each other, this kind of performance is inevitable.

Let us know what you thought about “Not Like Us,” in the comments section down below. Do you believe that this was the best song to come out of the feud thus far? Do you think that Kendrick will be dropping a music video for it? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. Kendrick Lamar Rakes In Impressive Number Of Plays On “Euphoria” Just 24 Hours Later

The beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake has seemingly closed its first chapter after the Compton superstar dropped “euphoria” out of nowhere. It caught the entire hip-hop community off guard, and it left everyone scrambling to react and break down the bars. Both Dot and Drizzy’s stans alike have been staunchly supporting their guys over who is on top, and it has been great to see the competitive fervor once again. Currently, the response to “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle is only on YouTube right now. Still, even with the minimal release and promotion, “euphoria” has racked up a ton streams for Kendrick Lamar.

In a recent Instagram post from thehiphopwolf, the account revealed that the track had brought in around 7.7 million plays in just 24 hours. In fact, that number has increased by about 300,000 at the time of writing, bringing the new total to 8.1 million. For comparison, Drake’s “Push Ups” has over 6.4 million views, and that hit YouTube officially almost two weeks ago. However, it still sits number eight on trending for music.

But “euphoria” has Kendrick at number one on trending overall, so in that aspect, he is winning. Then, on the other hand, Drake does have the streaming advantage by default. It has over 40 million plays on Spotify and debuted at number 19 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. So, the question is, does Lamar drop “euphoria” on streaming platforms now, especially with the numbers it is seeing?

What are your thoughts on Kendrick Lamar bringing in over eight million streams on YouTube for “euphoria” in just one day? Does this prove that Lamar is winning right now, why or why not? What bar stands out to you the most so far? Do you think he should drop the song on streaming now? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section.
