Stephen A. Smith Rips Zion Williamson: “He’s Fat”

Stephen A. Smith slammed Zion Williamson during a rant on the latest episode of his eponymous show in response to the 23-year-old’s performance in the semifinal game of the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament on Thursday night. During the New Orleans Pelicans’ loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, Williamson finished with just 13 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists.

“Zion Williamson, who is more than five years younger, but 40 pounds heavier, went to the free throw line,” Smith said. “Ladies and gentlemen, I saw a belly. A belly. Like, when he took a deep breath, his belly bounced. That kind of belly. I mean, damn. Damn. What’s up, Zion?”

Smith continued: “It’s bad enough you got your ass kicked, losing by 44 points in the semifinals. Did nothing to lead and galvanize your team. Did nothing to show the man-child that you are and to take over. But you look like you showed up to the game having just ate a buffet. Not something from the buffet, I said the buffet. Like you ate the damn table. I wasn’t going to touch on this, because I was embarrassed for him. But then Sports Illustrated wrote about it, and the New Orleans Times-Picayune, local newspaper, wrote about it. So it’s public information. He’s fat.” Check out Smith’s full critique of Williamson below.

Stephen A. Smith Wins “Shaqtin A Fool” Award, Fails Spectacularly At “Who He Play For” During “Inside The NBA” Crossover

Stephen A. Smith was just about the butt of every joke during his brief time on Inside the NBA last night. After Charles Barkley opened the show by threatening to give Smith an “a– whopping”, things only got more and more chaotic as the night went on. First, Smith “won” Shaqtin the Fool for the week. During the explanation of why, Shaq pointed to Smith’s terrible first pitch at a Yankees game earlier this year as the primary reason that Smith was being given the award.

However, things didn’t stop there. Before Smith left to rejoin the ESPN crew, he participated in the Inside the NBA staple, “Who He Play For?”. For those unfamiliar, the game is very simple – the guesser simply has to name the current team of five lesser-known NBA players. Smith failed spectacularly, going 1-for-5 and only guessing Otto Porter Jr correctly.

Stephen A. Smith Gives Bizarre Rant About Dating

Of course, it’s been a busy week for Smith and viral content. Smith enlightened his audience with more sexual wisdom in a recent episode of The Stephen A. Smith Show. When asked the question “BBL versus natural”, Smith went off a nearly five-minute rant. After establishing that he likes women with “curves” and said he needs a woman who has “more A and T than me”, Smith went completely off the rails.

The crux of his rant was that men want a “strong 7” in terms of their partner’s appearance. “10s” are “too much maintenance”, Smith argued. “9s” are also out for Smith because “she got enough people telling her she’s a 10”. The rant continues to get more and more bizarre, with Smith arguing that “too much independence” in a woman is a bad thing because it can reach a level where you (the man) start to feel dependent on your partner. After a certain point, like with many of Smith’s rants, it feels like he ran out of things to say. As a result, his point ends up being something along the lines of “get yourself a woman who is just a little insecure about her own appearance because that’s the best way to keep her around.”

Charles Barkley Immediately Threatens Stephen A. Smith During In-Season Tournament Crossover Show

Charles Barkley had exactly zero chill as Stephen A. Smith joined Inside The NBA. Less than a minute into the crossover episode, put on to celebrate the In-Season Tournament in Vegas, Barkley was already coming for Smith. He warned Smith that it wasn’t First Take and he wouldn’t stand for “all that yelling you do”. Furthermore, Barkley said he’s give Smith an “a– whooping” if the ESPN personality tried anything. Of course, the whole thing was in good fun and Smith appeared to be having a blast. Later Shaq crashed ESPN‘s coverage, pretending to spill a drink on Smith.

As mentioned, the unique crossover event was down in service of ESPN and TNT each holding broadcasting rights for one of the In-Season Tournament semifinals. Pacers-Bucks will be broadcast on ESPN while TNT gets Pelicans-Pacers. Saturday’s tournament final will be broadcast on ABC and ESPN2.

Stephen A. Smith Goes On Bizarre Rant About Women

Stephen A. Smith Says It’s “Okay” To Talk About R. Kelly’s Music

Of course, this is just the latest bizarre rant to stem from The Stephen A. Smith Show‘s Q&A segment. In November, Smith went a similar rant about best songs to have sex to. Smith used that question to make a bizarre statement about disgraced rapper R. Kelly. “I don’t want to bring up R. Kelly, but I think it’s okay now because he’s in jail,” Smith said in a widely disseminated clip. Furthermore, the clip has widely been met with shock that Smith, a widely-respected pundit with a national TV spot, would say something so out-of-pocket unprovoked.

The viral moment was part of a larger three-minute answer that Smith gave. His answers included Spandau Ballet’s “True”, The Jackson 5’s “All I Do Is Think Of You”, and Luther Vandross’ “A House Is Not A Home”. In regards to Kelly, Smtih’s pick was “Dedicated” and after the viral clip, he reasoned that he wouldn’t have brought it up if Kelly was “still out there, getting away with stuff.” However, Smith does go on to name at least three R. Kelly songs as part of his answer. Furthermore, Smith argues that “we can’t argue that there’s quite a few” R. Kelly songs that would make an objective list in answer to the question.

Stephen A. Smith Breaks Silence On Josh Giddey Allegations

Stephen A. Smith is someone who comments on all of the biggest stories in the sports world. However, there is one story he has mostly avoided as of late. Of course, we are talking about the allegations against Josh Giddey. For the most part, a lot of people have avoided these allegations. Overall, most of it is just social media hearsay, and no one knows what is truly going on here. As for the substance of the allegation, he is currently being accused of having sex with a minor.

There are a lot of people who have criticized Smith and others at ESPN for not talking about this. However, the case doesn’t include an arrest or anything tangible. Therefore, it is a mistake to think they would rush to discuss something like this. That said, on his own show today, Smith decided to break his silence on the whole thing. Essentially, Smith said he hasn’t opened his mouth because of the risk of a lawsuit. Furthermore, he just wants a lot more information to come out.

Stephen A. Speaks

“He’s 21, we don’t know how old she is,” Smith said. “We don’t know anything, we know there’s an investigation going on. That’s all we know. We don’t know anything else. You know why Stephen A. hasn’t said anything? Because you could get sued, idiots! You don’t just go out there running your damn mouth over something this serious.” Ultimately, Smith is opting for the safe route, and you really cannot blame him. After all, what else would he do? He has a high-paying job and a powerful one at that. There is no point risking that right now.

Let us know what you think of the situation, in the comments section down below. Should the Thunder suspend Giddey until further notice? Stephen A. Smith’s “Cars” Debate Leaves Viewers Very Confused

Stephen A. Smith took time out of his recent show to debate the GOAT in the 2006 animated film, Cars. The bizarre moment came after a caller asked Smith about the in-universe GOAT debate between Lightning McQueen and Strip Weathers. “When you’re talking about the GOAT, you can’t talk about Lightning McQueen. He’s tied…He has seven Piston Cups. But so does Strip “The King” Weathers. Strip Weathers has seven Piston Cups. You forget about him?” Smith asked “Danny from Wisconsin”. However, Danny attempted to push his luck, trying to argue that Lightning had more circuit wins at 28.

“I am not about to sit here and argue with a grown-a– man about the movie Cars,” Smith shot back as Danny tried to say his piece about Lightning McQueen. However, Danny tried to switch gears to the Fast & Furious franchise to argue the validity of the question, which prompted a signature Stephen A. response. “YOU’RE NOT A LITTLE KID. YOU’RE 21. YOU WOULD HAVE A POINT IF YOU WERE 7 YEARS OLD CALLING ME. YOU’RE 21 YEARS OLD. WHAT ARE YOU DOING, WEARING A DIAPER? GOODBYE, MAN,” Smith screamed down the phone at Danny.

The Stephen A. Smith Show Gets Weirder And Weirder

However, this is just the latest in a weird trend for Smith’s flagship podcast. Last week, Smith (or his producers) clearly had sex on the brain. First Smith was made to answer the question as to whether he would give up sex for a year to secure a Knicks championship. The short answer is no. However, Smith delivered the answer in a way that only he could. There was so much pained straining and an emotional speech about the Knicks haven’t won a championship since Smith was five. However, despite this 51-year drought, Smith still wouldn’t give up sex to secure another one. What made the situation even more hilarious was that the question had been posed by the prominent sports parody Twitter account, Ballcrack Sports.

Later in the segment, Smith raised eyebrows when tackling the “best sex song”. Smith’s answer invoked convicted sex offender, R. Kelly. Smith invoked the convicted sex offender. “I don’t want to bring up R. Kelly, but I think it’s okay now because he’s in jail,” Smith said in a widely disseminated clip. LeBron James Had The Perfect Response To Stephen A. Smith’s Tweet About Him

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are still seeming to find their footing to start the 2023-2024 NBA campaign. They are only 1-6 on the road this season, but they are 8-0 at home. Right now, they are a slightly above-average basketball team right now. Your record is a pretty good indicator of how well they are functioning together on the floor. Last night, on November 19, LeBron led the charge against an up-and-coming Houston Rockets team. Their first matchup was a blowout, with the Rockets thoroughly handling the visitors, 128-94. If you have been keeping up with the NBA, you know that Dillon Brooks, one of LeBron’s latest pests is on Houston. Any time he can get a win over James, you know he will relish in it.

Well, the season series is now split with the Lakers defending their home floor in a narrow 105-104 win. It took a season-high for LeBron to keep the team humming at Crypto.com Arena. He dropped 37 points with six rebounds and eight assists. While this game does mean a ton right now to either ball club, there was a funny moment that came out of it.

During the second quarter, James and teammate Christian Wood met up to celebrate. He supposedly “passed a blunt” to him making a joke about Christian’s last name. Stephen A. Smith, the world-renowned sports analyst, saw the video on X and he tweeted at LeBron suggesting he was smoking something he should not be. “Don’t even make me say it… @KingJames.” The Lakers superstar, responded with Stephen A.’s signature punchline, “Stay off the weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedddddd! with tons of laughing emojis.” Smith has been using that iconic line for years on national television and it is a treat anytime he gets to make a reference to it.

R. Kelly’s Music Is “Okay” To Talk About “Because He’s In Jail,” Stephen A. Smith Claims

Stephen A. Smith used his podcast, The Stephen A. Smith Show, to make a bizarre statement about disgraced rapper R. Kelly. While debating a tweet that simply read “Best sex song?”, Smith invoked the convicted sex offender. “I don’t want to bring up R. Smith Compares Kim Kardashian To A Sex Worker

However, fans have noticed that Smith has been getting increasingly out of pocket over the last year or so. One particularly egregious example was when Smith appeared to reveal obtaining illegal information to continue a beef with Lonzo Ball. Despite this, perhaps Smith’s most out-of-pocket statement in recent months was about Kim Kardashian. In July, Smith tweeted “Is Kim Kardashian a “prostitute”? Is Kris Jenner a “pimp”?” Understandable, Smith got a lot of heat for the tweet. However, one of the loudest voices, or at least one of the voices Smith paid attention to, was Patrick Beverley. The newly-signed Sixer called Smith out on the tweet. “Not cool. She has kids. Should not be the tittle or topic.” Smith’s tweet was later deleted as he went into damage control mode.

“Clerical error bro. You are absolutely right. That is being corrected right now as we speak. And for the record, I don’t think of @KimKardashian that way nor would I ever speak of her or any woman that way, which I’ve stated. That’s for checking that issue,” Smith tweeted in response to Beverley’s call out. The phrase of “clerical error” absolutely sent people on Twitter, mocking the veteran broadcaster for his bizarre phrasing and excuse-making. “I would never speak of a woman that way” right after he quite literally did is peak first take energy lol,” noted one commenter.

Stephen A. Smith Had An Incredible Reaction To Snoop Dogg Getting Off The Weed

For years, Stephen A. Smith has been going on television and begging people to STAY OFF THE WEED.

What started as one of his rants became a patented catchphrase for the ESPN personality every time an athlete found himself in trouble for using marijuana, which has happened less and less now that it’s legal in most states and most of the major sports leagues have removed it from their banned substance list. Even so, Smith still campaigns for folks to get off the weed and on Thursday, one of the most shocking news items of 2023 dropped when one of the most legendary weed smokers in history, Snoop Dogg, said he’s “giving up smoke” with a social media post reminiscent of a high school recruit making his college choice, asking for privacy at this time.

A few hours after the news of Snoop’s retirement from smoking hit, Stephen A. posted his response, photoshopping his face onto the Wario “I’ve won, but at what cost” meme.

It’s some top-tier posting from Smith and, I assume, whoever helps Smith run his social media — although, I do prefer pretending Stephen A. was opening up photoshop and making this all on his own. Stephen A. has been trying for years to get someone to listen and maybe, just maybe, Snoop watched one too many First Take episodes and was moved.

Snoop Dogg’s Decision To Stop Smoking Gets Perfect Response From Stephen A. Smith

Stephen A. Smith responded to Snoop’s announcement that he was no longer smoking with a perfect meme. Smith, who has long been known as the “STAY OFF THE DAMN WEED” guy retweeted Snoop’s announcement post with a meme. It should a picture of Smith staring off into the middle distance next to text that read, “I’ve won, but at what cost?” While it’s clear that someone in Smith’s media department threw the image together, it’s hilarious all the same.

The post came a few hours after Snoop himself announced that he was quitting smoking in the same way that college players announce they’re entering the transfer portal. “After much consideration & conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time,” Snoop’s social media post read.

Stephen A. Blasts NBA Over Giannis Ejection

Stephen A. has, as always, been on something of a tear lately. This most recent outburst came last week after Giannis received a questionable ejection against the Pistons. “I’m gonna call the league office today. Who the hell is paying to see the referee? That is not a reason to eject Giannis Antetokounmpo from a game, that is ridiculous. That is a disservice to the fans, to the paying customer coming to see them play, that is ridiculous. It is not a reason to eject a superstar basketball player who clearly the paying customer is coming to see. I know you get him 41 nights a year in the locale that is Milwaukee, I get all of that. Thank God it wasn’t a road game where you only get to see him once or twice a year. But for Giannis Antetokounmpo to get ejected for that reason is ridiculous,” Smith declared.

Giannis picked up his second technical after staring down the Pistons’ Isaiah Stewart after throwing down a dunk over him. Furthermore, Giannis threw up the “too small” taunt. The refs didn’t like this and whistled Giannis for his second tech of the game. A disbelieving Giannis tried to reason with the refs but the whistle had already been blown and the officiating team wanted Giannis out of the game.
