Blueface Responds To Soulja Boy’s Offer To Squash Beef: “I Still Need That Fade!”

Blueface isn’t taking Soulja Boy up on his offer to put their beef to rest amid his jail stint. Instead, the rapper took to Instagram, Sunday, to reject his $1,000 offer and confirm he still wants to fight. Soulja made the proposal earlier in the day after admitting he regretted his previous trolling of the situation.

“I still need that fade,” Blueface said in a video posted on his Instagram Story. Soulja had joked that he’d offer $2,000 to any inmate who would sexually assault Blueface in jail, but quickly walked the comments back.

Soulja made his offer to end the beef after Blueface turned himself in on a probation violation, earlier this month. “I know what it feel like to be locked down in a jail cell,” he said, earlier this weekend. “You don’t know what’s going on on the outside. Ain’t nobody f*ckin’ with you. Ain’t nobody puttin’ money on your books. I got $1000. Whoever know somebody, Blueface’s people, somebody, y’all hit me up. I’m gonna put $1000 on that n***a’s books.” When Blueface first turned himself in, Soulja had said he still wanted to fight him, but he didn’t want to see him end up behind bars. He remarked that he wouldn’t wish a prison cell on his worst enemy. “We don’t wish jail on nobody,” he said. “I don’t wish jail on my worst enemy. That shit was so lame, bro. Let that n***a out so we can pow, bow, pow.”

In addition to the two feuding on social media, Soulja’s baby mother is also filing a lawsuit against Blueface for defamation. The suit stems from the rapper saying they had sex the day before her and Soulja Boy’s baby shower back in 2022. Be on the lookout for further updates on Soulja Boy and Blueface on HotNewHipHop.

T.I. Regrets Gucci Mane Reconciliation Not Happening Sooner

For fans of the Atlanta trap scene- or rap in general, at this point- the feud between T.I. and Gucci Mane should come as no surprise. For those unaware, though, a brief history: back in 2012, Gucci and Jeezy were also at odds, with Tip siding firmly with the latter. Then, Guwop took shots at his Atlanta trap predecessor, which he dodged by deeming him as unimportant, and later claimed that he invented trap music, which T.I. was obviously quick to correct. Furthermore, a couple more shots were fired, there were some more claims and side-taking, but things died down a little bit in the coming years.

As such, it was a welcome and heartening surprise when the two rappers patched things up at Gucci Mane’s Breath Of Fresh Air album release party in October of this year in their home city. However, T.I. thinks that they should’ve landed on this bread-breaking way sooner. Moreover, he reflected on this with DJ Whoo Kid on his podcast Whoo’s House last week (at press time). While the Trap Muzik icon doesn’t necessarily see it as a thing to “make up” over, he did acknowledge that they let things go too far in their beef.

T.I. Reflects On Patching Things Up With Gucci Mane: Watch

“I don’t know what you mean by ‘made up;’ you make up with a girlfriend,” T.I. told the host, which could’ve been a joke or a serious issue with how the story is framed. Regardless, he went on to speak briefly but earnestly about his mended relationship with Gucci Mane. “We both enjoyed ourselves, I think, you know what I’m saying? Something that we probably should’ve did a while ago.” Check out Tip’s remarks on the matter at the 5:30 mark of the video above.

Meanwhile, he was one of many people who praised the reconciliation between Gucci and Jeezy back in 2020. With that and other examples, we know that the 43-year-old always puts the past behind him, as long as folks deserve it. Hopefully we hear more stories like these instead of further instances of rappers turning against each other. On that note, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on T.I. and Gucci Mane.

Styles P Says Biggie Wanted To Squash Beef Between Diddy & The LOX Before He Died

Styles P says The Notorious B.I.G. said he wanted to squash the beef between The LOX and Diddy on the night that he died. The rapper recalled Biggie’s intentions during an interview with The Art of Dialogue published on Friday.

“We literally had just left — we was going somewhere else, and then, just heard it was shots,” he said. “That was just really fuckin’ crazy, like, you know what I’m sayin’? And we were just finished talkin’ to him about — we was having some kind of rift with Puff, and he was basically kind of just, like, trying to guide us through it … telling us, chill out, you know? He’s gonna hold it down when he get back.”

He continued: “That shit was devastating. That was our big bro. He was really cool. That’s why we made ‘We’ll Always Love Big Poppa.’ We held him in a very high regard.” In the immediate wake of Biggie’s death, the feud between The LOX and Diddy only grew worse. As The LOX wanted out of their deal with Bad Boy Records, they began a “Free The LOX” campaign. Eventually, Styles P even threw a chair at Diddy during a meeting at the company’s offices.

Styles P previously reflected on that incident during an interview with HipHopDX in 2020. “The moment with tossing the chair at Puff was a combination of being really fucking stupid and really fucking angry,” he revealed. “I think for me, Big was always the barrier, and the mediator, and the middle person. He was always able to make things make sense to me. So I think when Big passed, it was just kind of really hard for me to deal with it and see certain things.” He added: “We don’t regret anything at all. It was like us saying you want some of this old man.” Check out Styles P’s latest comments on the death of The Notorious B.I.G. below.
