The Knicks and Pacers have a storied rivalry, and the series feels like it means something to both team’s fans beyond the playoffs. Pacers legend and Hall of Famer Reggie Miller was back at Madison Square Garden to call the game, and it was a big deal for Knicks fans. Reggie was a thorn in the side of the Knicks in the 90s, and the crowd made sure to give him a warm welcome. Knicks guard Josh Hart had to let Reggie know.

As the Knicks began to assert their dominance in the game’s final minutes, the New York fans decided to add their unique touch to the proceedings. Overall, whoever is playing for the Knicks will leave everything on the floor, and the fans will be 100% behind them, chanting, “F*** you Reggie.”

The NBA player is currently being investigated by Indianapolis police. They have stated that they are looking into the ball-throwing incident involving Patrick Beverley. A representative for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has confirmed that, on May 2, after Beverley threw a basketball at Indiana fans twice during the Bucks’ playoff game against the Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, investigators did in fact file a case report. Patrick Beverley has not yet made any public comments regarding the criminal inquiry, although he did apologize for his acts and labeled them “inexcusable” earlier this week on his podcast, “The Pat Bev Podcast with Rone.” He explained that he did it because the trash talk by fans within the arena went too far. However, he restated that he ought not to have thrown the ball into the crowd. There has still not been a punishment from the NBA, which may be waiting for the criminal investigation to be completed.

Racist Lebron James Poster Bizzarely Showcased At High School Art Show

Over the weekend, a racist posterboard with pictures of LeBron James and monkeys was shown at a school art exhibition. As of right now, authorities are looking into how the awful artwork got there. A student in the New Hartford Central School District in New York completed the artwork, which was a spoof of the “Monkey Premium” cereal campaign. It was displayed in the school gymnasium at the New Hartford Festival of the Arts event on Saturday.

The headline read, “Eat Monkeys, Jump Like Monkeys!” and an image of LeBron in his Lakers outfit mid-flight was placed next to a bowl of cereal. The blatantly racist artwork was somehow allowed entry into the competition. It probably got through numerous officials before it was finally displayed. There was a guarantee written in part on the board that anybody who ate the food shaped like bananas and monkeys would “jump 2-5 inches higher for about 2 hours” after that.

Given its blatant allusions to racial stereotypes, The LeBron James poster was understandably received with a great deal of outrage. On Monday, Superintendent of Schools Cosimo Tangorra Jr. informed local parents that an investigation is now underway. Tangorra Jr. said of the incident, “It is disheartening that racist work was not only created but then overlooked and allowed to be displayed.” Tangorra Jr. stated that authorities had identified and gotten in touch with the artist of the piece. However, information on the student could not be disclosed due to privacy concerns. Tangorra Jr. stated that more details on a potential penalty could not be disclosed.

Tangorra Jr. said in his statement, “We understand that there are students, families, staff and community members who may not feel safe, accepted or welcome as a result of what transpired.” He continued, “Our school community deserves access to a supportive learning environment where everyone feels respected, included, and safe.” The superintendent went on to stress that they would make sure all families in the district felt valued. Overall, it is ridiculous the art was made and that it passed through numerous teachers and officials.

Creepy Caitlin Clark Reporter Has Been Suspended

According to reports, Gregg Doyel, a sports journalist for The Indianapolis Star, has been prohibited from covering Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever this summer. This decision is due to his interaction with the WNBA rookie at her press conference. Many people called Doyel’s comments weird and creepy, and it was unfortunate that they happened at Clark’s introductory press conference. Hey later apologized about the awkward encounter, citing nerves and slipping up what he meant to say.

During an introductory press conference, Doyel reportedly made a heart gesture to Clark. Clark is known for making the gesture to her family after and during games. She replied to the heart gesture, saying, “You like that?” and he followed up with, “I like that you’re here.” Clark responded, “Yeah, I do that at my family after every game.” Doyel then said, “Start doing it to me and we’ll get along just fine.” That last comment was unnecessary, and everyone took it the wrong way. Social media quickly discussed whether Doyel was trying to come onto Clark. Now, Doyel will not be covering the Indiana Fever in what will be an exciting WNBA season.

This Mother’s Day, Kyrie Irving is commemorating his late mother, Elizabeth, with a pair of limited-edition ANTA sneakers that represent her “wisdom and protective spirit.”

The Chinese clothing company signed Irving to a shoe deal in July 2023. They revealed on Tuesday that the new Kyrie shoes will be released this weekend. The special sneakers have a lot of references and are a homage to Irving’s mother. The shoe features her name written on the outsole in addition to the phrase “Mother” stitched on the heel pull and strap. The colors and pattern, according to ANTA, also honor the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, of which Kyrie’s grandmother was a member.

The Nuggets were frustrated early with the Wolves’ physicality and felt that they were not getting foul calls. Later in the first half, Jamal Murray, who was super frustrated by the relentless defense, threw a heating pad at Davis while he was on the bench. Now, the league has handed down its punishment on Murray.

Despite the hefty price tag of $100,000, Jamal Murray will still be able to contribute to the Denver Nuggets in Game 3 of their Western Conference Semifinal series against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The NBA announced on Tuesday night that Murray’s behavior during Game 2 warranted a significant fine but no suspension. The defending champs are officially in trouble as the series heads to Minnessotta. Anthony Edwards is on a tear, and the Wolves look like they were built specifically to beat Denver. Fans and onlookers who have been exhausted by the whirlwind of diss tracks and information in the beef have been able to couch up and catch their breath. Everyone seems to have an opinion on the beef. It’s the cultural event of the moment right now and has been a pretty vicious back and forth. Both rappers have alleged nefarious things about the other to varying degrees. ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith thinks it has gone too far.

Stephen A., known for speaking his mind, had many thoughts about the direction the beef has taken. Yesterday, Stephen A. Smith took the time to address the ongoing rap feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. Stephen A. said the beef has gone incredibly too far and has strayed from who is the better artist or lyricist.
