Athletes like tennis stars Naomi Osaka and Coco Gauff have both sided with the Compton rapper. It seems everyone is realizing that Drake lost the feud. Now King James has been spotted having a good time dancing to Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss “Not Like Us.

Kendrick Lamar has even name-checked LeBron in his flurry of disses aimed at the Toronto rapper. On Kendrick’s “Meet The Grahams,” he rapped, “Ayy, LeBron, keep the family away, hey, Curry, will you keep the family away?” With all the allegations against Drake, Kendrick urges the athletes who have had close ties to Drizzy to be careful. LeBron was previously seen jamming to Kendrick and Futures track “Like That,” the song that started everything, during his warm-ups in the play-in tournament. LeBron has now been spotted two-stepping the night away to Kendricks’s mega-hit diss.

It is safe to say LeBron James approves of Kendrick Lamar’s viscous and bumping “Not Like Us.” Drake and fans were clamoring for Kendrick to make something people could dance to, and he did just that. Now King James is hitting a slight jig at the expense of his once close associate, Drake. LeBron is also hilariously trying to look like he is in all black and a hat, but we all know it’s him. Kyrie was etremly unselfidh all night empowering his teammates. The Thunder played well but Dallas made more plays down the stretch. MVP runner up Shai Gigeous Alexander had a great game in the loss. The young Thunder will look to take back their series lead in Dallas. Hopefully for hoops fans, this series is nice and long becasue it is very entertaining.

A federal judge has sentenced Glen “Big Baby” Davis, a former NBA player, to prison. The judge found Davis guilty of embezzling a substantial amount of money from the NBA’s healthcare plan. Davis was found guilty in November 2023 of participating in an alleged scheme to defraud the Players’ Health and Benefit Welfare Plan of the NBA. A New York judge sentenced the former Boston Celtics champion to 40 months in jail on Thursday. Despite the bad news, Glen Davis appears that he is not taking the sentencing seriously.

Following his federal prison term of forty months, Glen Davis responded in a manner that some might find surprising. He took to his Instagram account, posting a response that was both unhinged and hilarious. Davis, who had been facing a possible 20-year jail term in this case, was also required to serve three years of supervised release. In addition, the judge mandated that he pay $80,000 in reparations. Glen Davis was cracking jokes after the, what would be to most, devastating news that he is going to prison. The former NBA big man joked, “That’s the only way you can stop me from eating hamburgers is to put me in jail.” He also joked about prison life, saying, “I’mma have to choke the chicken in the bathroom.” Glen Davis always had a joking personality, but to have it in the face of a prison bid is something else. Twenty people were charged with filing false claims to the NBA’s health and welfare benefit plan for procedures and medical treatments that never occurred. Among them were former players Will Bynum, Terrence Williams, and Keyon Dooling. Davis was found guilty of a number of charges. He was found guilty of wire fraud, health care fraud, conspiracy to conduct fraud, and conspiracy to make false claims. Overall, It could have been much worse for Davis as he faced up to twenty years behind bars.

This morning, it was reported that the Indianapolis police department was investigating the incident for potential charges being levied at Beverley. Now, the NBA has handed down its punishment in the form of a 4-gam suspension. The suspension is also a punishment for Beverley’s post-game dismissal of a female reporter from the locker room. Beverley told the reporter to leave the locker room because she did not subscribe to his podcast.

With Patrick Beverley set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer, his future team is a big question. It also stands to reason that his entire NBA future is uncertain. He is an older player with a lot of baggage and teams will ask if he is worth the headache. The New York Knicks’ prospects of winning their first NBA Championship since 1973 have been allegedly cursed by Ja Rule. The Knicks just went up 2-0 on the Indiana Pacers in the second round of the NBA playoffs on Wednesday night. Despite the win, some fans are worried that Ja Rule has apparently cursed their title chances. This is a major development for Knicks fans, who have their best team in a long time with a legit chance to make the Eastern Conference finals and maybe even the NBA finals.

The coveted Larry O’Brien trophy was lifted and kissed by Ja before the game, and he was heard saying, “Champions only, baby. Go Knicks!” this is very concerning for Knicks fans. Fans immediately felt like Ja Rule had cursed the Knicks’ championship chances. They might be right because multiple instances in the game have resulted in a dubious rest of the series for New York despite being up 2-0 on the Indiana Pacers.

Despite the win, the Knicks came out of the game very injured. The curse from Ja Rule might have been legit, unfortunately. Ja is no stranger to cursing NBA franchises. In 2019, following a poor halftime show that was heavily ridiculed by fans. He declared he was putting a curse on the Sacramento Kings and the Minnesota Timberwolves. The only remedy may be getting Ja’s longtime enemy, 50 Cent, to do something to lift the Knicks curse. All in all, the Knicks may have just been unlucky. It is not a good look if you are Ja Rule.

Shohei Ohtani’s Interpreter Facing 33 Years In Prison Over Stealing $17 Million

Ippei Mizuhara, the former interpreter and close friend of Shohei Ohtani, will enter a guilty plea to many federal charges after acknowledging that he stole around $17 million from the Dodgers star. As a result, he may spend more than three decades behind bars. Mizuhara agreed to plead guilty to one count of bank fraud and one count of filing a false tax return. The crime spanned multiple years. Additionally, the US Justice Department revealed on Wednesday that he would soon be sentenced.

United States Attorney Martin Estrada said of Ippei’s actions, “The extent of this defendant’s deception and theft is massive.” He continued, “He took advantage of his position of trust to take advantage of Mr. Ohtani and fuel a dangerous gambling habit. My office is committed to vindicating victims throughout our community and ensuring that wrongdoers face justice.” There is a maximum sentence of 30 years for the bank fraud accusation and three years for the tax allegation. Furthermore, there will most likely be a significant reduction in sentence length.

Asserting that Mizuhara “exploited his relationship” with Shohei Ohtani, the government will concede that Mizuhara transferred about $17 million of Ohtani’s money covertly to settle gambling debts. According to reports, Mizuhara paid Ryan Boyajian, a cast member of Real Housewives of Orange County, who was an alleged collaborator with Matthew Bowyer, the accused illegal bookmaker. Reports say Boyajian and Bowyer would “clean” the illegal money at casinos in Las Vegas.

Ohtani, who is non-English speaking, depended on Mizuhara for almost everything when he first came to the United States from Japan. Mizuhara created the slugger’s bank account in 2018. The DOJ claims that Ippei started placing bets on athletic events in September 2021 and soon incurred a massive debt from a bookie but kept making bets. He then planned to siphon money from Shohei Ohtani’s finances to settle debts and keep betting. In conclusion, Ippei Mizuhara will be arranged on May 14th.
