Cardi B says she went on a massive shopping spree following her divorce from Offset, spending $2 million on designer jewelry, bags, and more. She explained the decision after claiming she charges $1.5 million for concerts in the United States. “In October alone, I spent about $2 million just on my gifts I bought for myself,” Cardi said on X (formerly Twitter) Spaces. “Because you know what? I’m divorced, I’m single and shopping makes me feel good.”

The topic originally arose as fans complained about the latest delay to her long-awaited sophomore album. She explained that, despite not dropping a new album since 2018, she’s not hurting for cash. “I get paid $1.5 million to do shows in America, depending on the venue. Because If the venue is big, I gotta get $2 million. If I’m going out of the state, I’m getting [$2.5 million.],” she said. “I pay my nanny for my baby $700 a day,. Every single time I step out just hair and makeup is about $4,000, $5,000, depending on the length of the f*ckig hair. My outfits don’t even be less than f*cking $8,000. Just so I can step out of the house, let’s make that clear.”

Wack 100 Blames Drake’s UMG Lawsuit On “Jealousy” Over “GNX” Success

Wack 100 says that jealousy is the reason Drake is taking legal action against Universal Music Group and Spotify over the success of Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” diss track. He ranted about the Toronto rapper’s pre-action petition on social media on Monday night. In doing so, he brought up reports that Lamar’s new album, GNX, is dominating the streaming charts.

Wack began by suggesting that, even if Drake’s allegations are true, the lawsuit could backfire on him if labels have been using the same strategy with his own music. “Either way it go, he let his emotions cloud his thoughts so bad to where he’s just swinging in the air and screaming,” Wack argued in a clip circulating online. “I’ma be real: I think when he seen Kendrick Lamar controlling the first twelve slots of Apple, I think it sent him somewhere.”

Drake filed the petition in Manhattan court on Monday, alleging that UMG and Spotify worked together to artificially boost the popularity of Kendrick Lamar’s viral diss track, “Not Like Us.” He is accusing UMG of using bots and payola, among other methods in what he describes as an “illegal” scheme. “UMG did not rely on chance, or even ordinary business practices,” lawyers for Drake’s company, Frozen Moments LLC, wrote in the filing. “It instead launched a campaign to manipulate and saturate the streaming services and airwaves.” They accuse UMG of violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act as well as breaking New York state law by using deceptive business practices and false advertising.

The request from Maury comes after Carti teased having new music ready to go on social media, last week. Posting on his @opium_00pium Instagram account, Carti shared a song called “Play This.” In the comments section, he wrote: “IM NOT DONE AT ALL DIS SUM COOL S— I WANTED YALL TO HEAR BC I LOVE DIS SONG BUT DA SHIT DATS ON MY ALBUM OVRLY TRIMM.” Days earlier he further teased the project during a club appearance. As caught by Billboard, he told the crowd: “Shout out to my n—a Kanye, you know what I’m saying. He over here making beats and sh—t. That album gonna be crazy, I can’t wait to show y’all n—s.”

“With so much hate and negativity in the world today, it confuses me why some of National sports media still think that the best way to cover sports is through negative takes,” Kleiman wrote. “We can all acknowledge that sports is the last part of society that universally brings people together. So why can’t the coverage do the same? It’s only click bait when you say it. When the platform is so big, you can make the change and allow us all an escape from real life negativity. I for one find it all a waste of breath. The Olympics and JJ and Bron’s show was the future of what this can and should all be.” After reposting the statement, James wrote: “And with that said I’ll holla at y’all!
