Sexyy Red Shares A Flirty Response To Owen Wilson Being Left Speechless During Her Rolling Loud Miami 2024 Performance

Owen Wilson had an epic weekend. On December 14, the Loki actor stormed the stage of Rolling Loud Miami 2024 with headliner Travis Scott.

But when Wilson was not serving as the hype man during Scott’s performance of “Fe!n,” he enjoyed other musicians’ set from the crowd. One of those performances included Sexyy Red. While hip-hop know the “Pound Town” rapper as a provocateur, Wilson was completely unaware. During Sexyy Red’s Rolling Loud Miami 2024 set, Owen Wilson was spotted looking on in utter shock. Well, the now-viral clip captured by a festivalgoer (viewable here), made its way back to Sexyy Red’s desk.

Yesterday (December 15), Sexyy Red took a moment to address leaving Wilson speechless. On X (formerly Twitter), Sexyy reposted the video with the caption: “Dats my baby Owen 😽😽.”

That flirty response was enough to jump start Sexyy’s followers inner matchmaking skills. Others are now eagerly awaiting Wilson’s forthcoming film inspired by the festival. If Sexyy Red twerking was enough to knock him off of his feet, he has a lot of work to do to prepare for his upcoming role.

For true Sexyy Red fans, this isn’t even her most memorable Rolling Loud Miami moment. Back in 2023, Sexyy Red took was escorted onstage by shirtless men on leashes.

Sexyy Red Reacts To Owen Wilson Looking Shocked At Her Rolling Loud Performance

Sexyy Red has left many mouths agape since her rise to superstardom, but perhaps none have been funnier than Owen Wilson’s at Rolling Loud Miami’s tenth anniversary iteration this past weekend. Moreover, a clip went viral on social media of him staring at the screen projecting her during her performance, looking like he was frozen in time. It’s a hilarious video, and one that the St. Louis femcee couldn’t help but laugh at, too. “Dats my baby Owen [two kissing cats emojis],” she quote-tweeted the visual. It seems like Sexyy had a great time at the festival, running through her established bangers and through newer hits such as her Tyler, The Creator, GloRilla, and Lil Wayne collab “Sticky” off of Tyler’s CHROMAKOPIA.

But Sexyy Red wasn’t the only one who had a ball at Rolling Loud Miami, as Owen Wilson was up to a lot. He will star in an upcoming comedy film about the festival alongside Matt Rife, which is why he was there over the weekend to shoot some stuff and take in the vibes. An actor always does their research!

Sexyy Red Shouts Out Owen Wilson

Not only that, but he even got onstage with Travis Scott to prelude “FE!N” and see that sea of moshpit enthusiasts from a bird’s eye view. Well, a bird on a huge stage, anyway. As for Sexyy Red, 2024 was a pretty solid follow-up year to her breakout 2023, including a new project, plenty of collabs, big singles, and much more. Everybody who called this some simple 15 minutes of fame could not have been more wrong, and it’s clear that she can still rock a crowd with ease. It’s got us looking forward to 2025, and hopefully a more pronounced and exciting artistic redirection that still keeps the roots healthy.

Meanwhile, Owen Wilson might want to stray away from Sexyy Red if he’s looking for relationship advice. She and Summer Walker recently caught some flack for advising a fan to stay with a partner even though they cheated on her twice. Jokes aside, it’s always a treat to see pop culture crossovers that would never, ever appear on a Bingo card.

Sexyy Red & Summer Walker Send Social Media Into A Frenzy Over Cheating In Relationship Advice

Ewwwww, baby, Summer Walker and Sexyy Red have social media going wild over the debut episode of Walker’s new podcast, Over It Radio. The two superstars on Apple Music, with Sexyy Red as her first guest, sparked controversy over their advice on “cheating in a relationship.” when a caller shared her story of betrayal, revealing her boyfriend of nine years had cheated twice — once in their apartment and once with her “best friend.” Despite the heartbreak, the caller admitted she was still holding out hope he could be husband material. Summer Walker didn’t mince words, making it clear she wasn’t one to turn to for advice, saying bluntly, “She doesn’t need to be asking us.”

Sexyy Red, however, doubled down with a surprising take, advising the caller to stick it out. “Ns be cheating. Nine years, and he only cheated twice? Girl, take that man back. It’s okay! A na gonna cheat, they gonna do that,” she said unapologetically. Walker added her own mixed commentary, suggesting that while people shouldn’t tolerate infidelity, two instances of cheating “literally [aren’t] that much.” Yet she acknowledged the need for self-respect, encouraging listeners to demand better while admitting, “We can’t sound like this.” Red, however, stood firm, claiming infidelity is inevitable and implying the caller’s next partner might not be any better.

Sexyy Red & Summer Walker Had Social Media Going Wild Over Advising How To Cheat In A Relationship

Social media erupted with reactions to the duo’s unconventional advice. Fans dissected both superstars’ advice and criticized the caller. “9 years????? YOU’LL NEVER BE HIS WIFE!!!!!” wrote one Instagram user. Another chimed in, “He didn’t cheat twice; you only caught him twice.” Others mocked the absurdity of the advice hotline, with one user quipping, “I love them both, but I don’t want the number to their advice hotline.” “Please don’t take dating advice from people who don’t even respect themselves,” one user wrote. Another scathingly added, “The blind leading the blind.”

The six-episode series supports Walker’s upcoming album, Finally Over It. In October, she teased the album with a voicemail from her ex-boyfriend and Starz BMF actor, Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr. The couple ended their brief on-and-off again relationship in August 2023. Lil Meech would be accused of cheating on Walker during the relationship after a viral video of him entering an unknown woman’s apartment surfaced. Finally, Over It, Walker’s third album, is coming soon.

Sexyy Red Causes Fan Debate By Debuting New Look

Sexyy Red has shown off quite a few looks during her time in the spotlight, whether it’s blonde, black, or red hair; short(er), long(er), straight, curly… You name it. As such, fans already have their favorites, so every time a new look rolls around, they have to rank it on their tier list. Moreover, she recently showed off some wavy blonde locks and was gushing about them with her friends. Fans had a whole slew of reactions in the comments section under the Instagram post below. Some were just critical haters of the St. Louis femcee’s look no matter what, others loved this new style, and a few expressed preference for other hair colors while still giving their flowers.

However, Sexyy Red also faced a bit of backlash recently for some serious allegations. An alleged ex partner accused her of giving him a sexually transmitted disease, and she clapped back with denials of these claims and some harsh words for the alleged ex. So not every discussion around the 26-year-old online is going to focus on her image alone, although this is certainly part of public perception.

Sexyy Red Shows Off A New Hair Color

With that in mind, there are a lot of external factors and seemingly misinterpreted actions that inform how people look at Sexyy Red these days. For example, a lot of people accused her of doing cocaine on Kai Cenat’s stream, another rumor that she had to dispel. It seems like the rapper is an easy calling card to reveal your true feelings about some sort of controversial topic, whether that’s substance use in this case or lewd activity in most others. It’s a pretty heavy burden to bear as a superstar – despite the massive flow of money – but one that boosts your profile all the same in a social media age.

Another example of this kind of criticism recently came from Candace Owens, who appeared on Nick Cannon’s Counsel Culture show to speak on how Black music has evolved from Michael Jackson to Sexyy Red. She brought this up as an example of how the media belittles the Black community, but as with most Sexyy takes, it’s not a very nuanced or earnest assessment.

Moneybagg Yo Drops Video With Celebrity Look-Alike & Sparks Reactions With Sexyy Red Starting The Trend

Moneybagg Yo caused mixed reactions after releasing a video next to his celebrity look-alike. Promoting the “twin,” the Memphis rap star was all smiles with the caption, “Got Twin With Me @DukeDennis.” The video would spark reactions, with fans claiming the rapper’s real look-alike is Girlfriends’ actor Reggie Hayes, who played William Dent. “No Moneybagg you look like the dude off Girlfriends,” commented an Instagram user in The Shade Room comment section. Other users equally desired them in the comments. A user compared them to siblings, commenting, “It’s kind of like when you see two brothers, it’s clear they related but one of them finer than the other.”

It appears that Sexyy Red started the trend in August by sharing a photo of a woman who resembled the rap star in striking ways. A social media user commented on the look-alike’s photo, “You look like Sexyy Red if she went to college and majored in physical science.” Another fan commented, “Twins but Red grew up with the daddy side.” Fans would go on to debate who looks better between the two.

Look-alikes are common in rap. Many rap stars have revealed that used them on occasions throughout the genre’s 50 years. Akon revealed that he used his brother Bu to be the superstar when he had multiple shows in a single day. MF Doom and his Doom Bots ran amuck during the peak of the underground legend’s career. Others acts would use look-alikes to humiliate during live shows to diss their rivals. In the 90s, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, and Tupac used look-alikes of Eazy-E, Biggie Smalls, and Diddy to diss them on their iconic diss songs “Hit’em Up” and “Dre Day.”

Moneybagg Yo spent the last quarter of 2024 on tour with Rod Wave and Toosii. He released the deluxe version of his latest album, Speak Now, over the summer. This year, he collaborated with new artists BlakeANA, Nino Breeze, and Rob49. Moneybagg Yo collaborated with fellow CMG labelmate Big Boogie in October on “Stuff Her.” The song appears on the new album Ether.

Candace Owens Targets Sexyy Red While Criticizing The Evolution Of Popular Music

Candace Owens has a lot of hot takes about the music industry, but the conservative commentator’s issues do not solely rest on any one artist. She recently hopped on Nick Cannon’s Counsel Culture show to talk about the “conspiracy” that labels push certain images of Black culture for maximum exploitation and to lessen their worth. Owens specifically brought up Sexyy Red as an example, comparing the differences between her and other massive Black musicians of yesteryear such as Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. Basically, the media star thinks this is part of a plan to belittle the Black community and sell debauchery over artistry.

However, this argument is about as old as time itself, and not even Candace Owens’ perceptive assessment of how the music industry informs its exports and disseminations fully explores this narrative. People like Sexyy Red find success because they find an audience, and that audience listens to her music for a whole variety of different reasons. Sadly, that hasn’t made her garner any less hate online – sometimes from Owens herself – but she continues to expand her career despite this pushback.

Candace Owens Believes Sexyy Red Is Part Of A “Conspiracy”

Instead, what Candace Owens talked to Nick Cannon about is more of a question of variety and versatility in the mainstream music market. Sadly, her own argument fails to consider how Sexyy Red is part of a much larger artistic landscape that does include figures emulating the likes of Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston, and how more traditionalist critiques of artists like Sexyy fail to recognize this. It’s part of the holes within conservative arguments against certain forms of artistic expression. They minimize accountability and willpower for the audience and exaggerate what listening to artists like the St. Louis femcee actually says about you.

In other lanes, Candace Owens continues to paint other superstars like Jay-Z and Beyoncé as devils within the industry, so her hot takes will probably never stop. As for Sexyy Red, we doubt that she really cares too much about these comments, as she already sidestepped far worse variations of them. But Owens does bring up some interesting points about industry standards and demographic targeting, even if her conclusion lands as a misguided presumption.

Sexyy Red Responds To Heavy STD Allegations Made By A Past Fling

Sexyy Red is having to speak for herself after a former fling decided to try and expose her. Overall, it’s a pretty messy situation, with information on this relationship and the man being murky as well. Thanks to a collection of videos from DJ Akademiks, though, were able to piece together the gist of what’s going on here. This whole debacle began thanks to who Ak is describing as an “alleged ex baby dad.” That piece of information comes courtesy of a social media post from Sexyy Red. It reads, “Who my bd opp? I got ah big fat wet p*ssy waitin for you.” It seems she’s looking to get some sort of information on this alleged baby daddy at any cost necessary.

The reason being is because he’s accusing Red of giving him some sort of STD. There’s an audio clip in the post below in which the man is supposedly arguing with the femcee on the phone. He’s audibly upset with her for allegedly lying for the duration of their relationship and relentlessly interrogates her if she’s deceiving other guys too. However, Sexyy Red continues to dodge Wu Slime’s questions (his Facebook name) and says that everyone is getting “burnt.”

But she doesn’t stop there, as she then hopes that Wu Slime got AIDS. It almost sounds like she’s admitting that she gave him some sort of disease without saying it directly. Slime is convinced of that fact though, captioning that phone call, “She said she burning errbody getting burnt🥵🤢🤮 you gotta be strong for det nawf side p**sy kuh it’s not for da weak n I’m da weak😭😭😭

After that, Wu Slime says he’s got a lot more information coming. Unfortunately, a clip of him appearing to explain him and Red’s history is cut short. However, he’s offering to tell the whole story to anyone who’s willing to listen. He even tags Say Cheese TV, Vlad TV, and FYB Jaymane and lets them know his price to talk is going to raise quickly, so he’s looking to capitalize monetarily as well. As for how Red is taking all of this, she seems quite unbothered because, “1. it’s not true… 2. yal believe anything on dis app.” It feels like we are moments away from more crucial details, so stick around.
