Rihanna Slapping Michael Cera Apparently Didn’t Take ‘Much Convincing,’ But He Still Has ‘No Regrets’

Michael Cera’s recent interview with Rolling Stone revealed quite a lot, including having a marriage and divorce pact with Aubrey Plaza at one point. He also revealed his thoughts about a particular scene in the 2013 movie, This Is The End, where Rihanna slaps him.

The two had reportedly discussed the scene before it happened — as Cera’s character (playing himself) slaps Rihanna’s butt while she’s talking to Jason Segel, which causes her to hit him in the face. “Shut the f*ck up, Jason,” Cera responds in the original clip. “We’re playing a game.”

As part of the story, Rihanna also agreed to it if she apparently got to hit back.

“I thought it would look a lot better if she hit me,” Cera said. “I don’t think it took much convincing to get her to do it. I just thought it would look a lot better than a fake slap would because you can really feel it. It just looks a lot funnier!”

“The take that is in the movie, she really did hit my ear, which was disorienting,” he added. “But I have no regrets. I didn’t lose any hearing over it, fortunately!”

Rihanna Covers Her Baby Bump In Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb To Stay Shining Bright

In 2012, Rihanna taught us a thing or two about shining bright with her hit single, “Diamonds,” from her Unapologetic album. In the decade since then, the Barbadian singer has led by example, often wearing looks that keep all eyes on her radiance. Since announcing her first pregnancy with ASAP Rocky in early 2022, we’ve seen Rihanna glowing more than ever before – sometimes thanks to the assistance of her Fenty Beauty makeup products, and others simply due to her natural star power.

On Thursday (June 15), the @fentybeauty Instagram account reminded us of one of the 35-year-old’s best looks from her first pregnancy with RZA. At the time, Rih wore her short hair in a cute, half-up-half-down style. Her baby bump was fully on display under a silver, long-sleeve crop top with several intricate cutouts. Her skirt was also silver and covered in countless sparkles to keep her glittering under any light. Of course, the ANTI artist also added a collection of accessories to her wrist, ears, and finger before using her makeup brand’s Diamond Bomb powder to bring in more shine.

Rihanna Loves Her Some Fenty Beauty

In a video soundtracked to Blxnco Blxck’s “Frozen Pizza,” Rihanna smoothly applies the shimmery powder all over her bump. At the end, the soon-to-be mother of two reveals the finished look, which has added a beautiful glow to her brown belly. “We don’t call it #DIAMONDBOMB All-Over Diamond Veil for nothing 💎 Muva @badgalriri shines bright all on her own + applies #DIAMONDBOMB in ‘How Many Carats?!’ on her pregnant belly to match ✨,” the beloved brand captioned their post.

Seeing as RZA is already a year old and Rihanna is nearly ready to give birth again, fans in the comments are wondering why the adorable footage was kept “in the vault” for over a year. Regardless of their reasoning, it likely means there’s more unseen bump footage coming our way from the recording artist in the future. Rihanna Stays Booked & Busy As The Face Of Pharrell’s First Louis Vuitton Men’s Campaign

After the shock of Virgil Abloh’s sudden tragic passing in November 2021 wore off, fashion lovers couldn’t help but wonder who would replace him as creative director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear division. Some previously thought that his long-time contemporary, Kanye West, might get the job. However, his controversial antics at the time may have caused the brand to distance itself from him, and instead select Pharrell Williams. The producer’s new role was officially announced in February, and more recently we reported that he’ll be making his runway debut at the quickly approaching Paris Fashion Week.

Ahead of the show, Skateboard P is making big moves on Instagram. In the early hours of Thursday (June 15) morning, he lit up Instagram with a new photo from the City of Love, where he proudly poses in front of a new LV billboard featuring Rihanna. In the massive photograph, the “Umbrella” singer carried a collection of colourful baggage worn on her arms, cooly holding a coffee in her hand while showing off her baby bump under a leather jacket.

Pharrell Unveils Rihanna As The Star Of His First Campaign As Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Creative Director

Pharrell was introduced as Louis Vuitton’s next Men’s Creative Director on February 14, stepping into the role previously held by the late Virgil Abloh until his November 2021 passing. Louis Vuitton shared in a press release at the time that Pharrell’s first collection in his new role would be showcased during Men’s Fashion Week in June. Now days away, Pharrell just laid a megawatt breadcrumb.

“LOUIS VUITTON MEN Spring-Summer 2024,” Pharrell captioned an Instagram photo showing him posing in front of a larger-than-life photo of Rihanna, presumably the face of the campaign.

In the photo, Rihanna is strutting effortlessly with a coffee. She’s draped in duffel bags, framing her bare pregnant stomach. (She and ASAP Rocky are expecting their second child, as revealed during her Super Bowl LVII Halftime performance.)

Predictably, notable people are gushing over Rihanna in the comments section. Lindsay Lohan simply left a hearts-as-eyes emoji, while Busta Rhymes commented with eight crown emojis. Sam Smith also went the emoji-only route, with a red heart and fire.

Complex relayed that it had “reached out to Louis Vuitton reps for comment on the Rihanna campaign” and will update accordingly.

Upon Pharrell’s appointment in February, Louis Vuitton had plenty to say.

“I am glad to welcome Pharrell back home, after our collaborations in 2004 and 2008 for Louis Vuitton, as our new Men’s Creative Director,” Louis Vuitton Chairman and CEO Pietro Beccari said in a statement. “His creative vision beyond fashion will undoubtedly lead Louis Vuitton towards a new and very exciting chapter.”

RXK Nephew Dropped The Rihanna-Approved ‘I Love My Girlfriend,’ Dedicated To The Perfect Partner In Crime

RXK Nephew dropped his song “I Love My Girlfriend” as an official single, just weeks after it got a shoutout from Rihanna. In a recent TikTok, the pop star uploaded a video of herself decked out in diamonds and walking, with the track on the soundtrack.

“quiet luxury,” RiRi captioned.

Just as the title describes, the rapper’s song is an ode to the affection he has for his girl.

“That’s my b*tch she just like me / She not gon’ snitch she gon’ take a plea / My seat back I let her drive / Baby shoot the Glock with one eye / Told lil mama f*ck Bonnie and Clyde / Baby me and you are sum’ different,” he raps.

“Walk in that b*tch, me and my b*tch / I’m sippin on henny she fine’ then a lick / It turn me on when my bitch rob / That sh*t sexy when she hold the Glock,” RXK Nephew adds.

As the lyrics suggest, his squeeze is just as into robbing others as he is. This makes him fall for her more and the two embrace the chaos. The song, according to Genius, first appeared on his 2020 mixtape, Crack Therapy 3.

Beyonce, Rihanna Make The List Of Forbes’ Richest Self-Made Women

Forbes recently released its Richest Self-Made Women list. While the list was not limited to entertainers, it featured several popular musicians who claimed high-ranking spots. Unsurprisingly, big names like Beyonce, Rihanna, and Taylor Swift made the list. In addition to a number ranking, each entry on the list has a “self-made score.” Leading the pack among musicians was Rihanna. She was ranked at No. 20. Besides headlining the Super Bowl, she has seen tremendous success with her Fenty Beauty brand. Reportedly, it has doubled in value. In addition, Rihanna has her Savage x Fenty lingerie company. With a reported net worth of $1.4 billion and a self-made score of 10, Rihanna’s entrepreneurial ventures have contributed significantly to her wealth.

Following closely behind Rihanna at No. 34 is Taylor Swift. The pop singer has a net worth of $740 million. Swift is expected to earn even more with her record-breaking Eras Tour. A Latin American leg was recently announced. However, the tour has also faced controversy due to the highly publicized Ticketmaster dispute. In addition to her music ventures, Swift is also making her way into feature directing. This marks her first foray into this role.

‘Use A Condom,’ A Pregnant Rihanna’s Shirt Instructs In Her Latest Attention-Grabbing Photos

When Rihanna posts photos of herself, people pay attention. Her recently shared topless maternity photoshoot, for instance, certainly turned heads. Now, she’s back with more pics, and this time, she’s dispensing sex advice.

In the newly shared photos, Rihanna strikes various poses, including some that emphasize her pregnant belly, all while wearing an oversized T-shirt that reads in large, all-caps letters, “USE A CONDOM.” Rihanna also came through with a funny crack in the post’s caption, writing, “this shirt is old…”

The shirt is actually part of Rihanna’s new Savage X Fenty Xssential Lounge collection. Although Rihanna doesn’t model it herself, the collection features a similar T-shirt that reads, “I’m a virgin,” followed by, “This is a very old T-shirt.” Both shirts go for $44 a piece.

Elsewhere in the collection are casual, comfortable items like sweatpants, sweatshorts, bike shorts, brelettes, tank tops, robes, hoodies, socks, oversized pants, leggings, jumpsuits, and so on.

Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Rihanna will star in, as well as produce and make new music for, an upcoming Smurfs movie. She said at the time, “Getting to do animation is a fun journey for me. I’m usually front and center with everything with my likeness […] but this was fun. I got to imagine, I got to show up in my pajamas in my third trimester, and be a blue badass. I hope this gives me a little bit of cool points with my kids one day.”
