Savage X Fenty: Rihanna Steps Down As CEO After 5 Years

While the Navy isn’t exactly happy with the lack of new music we’ve heard from Rihanna since 2016’s ANTI, they’ve been able to forgive her thanks to her hard work in other industries. She shared impressive designs from LVMH’s Fenty brand for several years, and though that was shut down, she’s also given us Fenty Beauty, Skin, and her tantalizing Savage X Fenty lingerie collection which was launched back in 2018. Over the years we’ve seen Rihanna model countless pieces for us. That’s likely to continue down the road, however, on Friday (June 23), we found out that she’ll be stepping down as CEO.

The news comes as the Barbadian creative nears closer to welcoming her and ASAP Rocky’s second child together. Their firstborn, RZA, turned one in the spring, and Rihanna has spoken candidly about how special the experience of motherhood has been for her. With two little ones soon to be running around, it only makes sense that she wants to free up her schedule so she can witness as much of their growth as possible. According to Vogue, the Bad Gal has found a very capable person to step into her shoes.

Hillary Super, the former CEO of Anthropologie Group, has been tasked with the job. Of course, Rihanna won’t be stepping out of the picture entirely. Instead, she’ll take on the role of executive chair. “It’s been beautiful to see our vision for Savage X Fenty impact the industry at such an incredible magnitude over the last five years. This is just the beginning for us, and we’re going to continue to expand in ways that always connect with the consumer,” she shared in a statement.

Elsewhere in the world of fashion, Rihanna kept her streak of noteworthy maternity looks going with an appearance at Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton debut earlier this week. She and ASAP Rocky perfectly coordinated in denim outfits, and as per usual, her baby bump was on full display. Rihanna Is No Longer Savage X Fenty’s CEO, But She’s Confident That Her Replacement Will ‘Take Business To An Even Higher Level’

B*tch better have some free time. Rihanna has made work-life balance look easy as she’s juggled her many business ventures with motherhood. But with a second baby on the way, the “Work” singer seems to be looking to lighten up her load. According to Vogue, the mogul has stepped down from her position as Savage X Fenty’s CEO.

In conversation with the outlet, Rihanna shared that she was proud of what she accomplished as the head honcho. “It’s been beautiful to see our vision for Savage X Fenty impact the industry at such an incredible magnitude over the last five years. This is just the beginning for us, and we’re going to continue to expand in ways that always connect with the consumer,” said the star.

Although she will be hanging up her satin robe, she’s confident that her replacement, Hillary Super, will only continue to push the company further, saying, “I’m so grateful and excited to welcome Hillary Super as our new CEO – she is a strong leader and is focused on taking the business to an even higher level.”

Super also shared a comment with the publisher, saying, “I’m thrilled to join the Savage X Fenty family. The brand is a major powerhouse in the lingerie and apparel industry, and its unwavering commitment to celebrating inclusivity and fearlessness is inspiring.”

ASAP Rocky Fueled Rumors That He And Rihanna Are Secretly Married By Dedicating A Song To Her

Last night (June 21), ASAP Rocky delivered a a Spotify Beach performance at the Cannes Lions Festival in Paris on Wednesday night. What he said on stage has fueled a major rumor, that he and Rihanna are secretly married.

ET reports that according to “an eyewitness,” during the rapper’s second set, he dedicated his performance of “DMB” (short for “Dat’s My B*tch”) to RiRi, referring to her as “my beautiful wife in the motherf**king building! I love her.”

Neither Rocky nor Rihanna have ever confirmed that they’re married, but they’ve previously sparked the rumor. At the end of Rocky’s 2022 “DMB” video, he wears grills that say “Marry Me?” Rihanna’s grills, meanwhile, read, “I do.”

Earlier this year, there were reports that Rihanna was planning a beach wedding, potentially to coincide with her February 20, although that rumor was never confirmed. Then, at this year’s Met Gala, the two again fueled marriage rumors when Rihanna wore a wedding dress-like look.

Whatever the case may be, the two appear to have a happy family together: They have kid, RZA, and another on the way. Rihanna also commented on Rocky’s Fathers Day post from last weekend, “The Mayers boys stole my whole heart! Happy Father’s Day nerd.”

Billie Eilish Claims Rihanna Is The “Hottest Person To Ever Exist”

Young musical artist Billie Eilish is doling out love in droves. While she showed her adoration for Megan Thee Stallion earlier in the year, she now turns her attention to hip-hop superstar Rihanna. And she isn’t the only hype girl. Rapper Latto showered Rihanna with praise as well. Speaking to Vogue due to the launch of her newest perfume fragrance, Eilish No. 2, Billie touched on not only Rihanna’s awe-inspiring aura but her own style as well. “I don’t need to always prove to everyone that I’m a tomboy,” she said. “Like, that is what I am, but I also am this kind of girl.”

Billie Eilish continues: “I’m also feminine, and I’m also sexy, and I’m also cute, and I’m also just like, none of the above, and I’m just me.” With RiRi as a role model, Billie is finding ways to remove fan negativity from her life. She uses baths, big dogs, and family time as methods of focusing on what’s important in her life. As she enters the perfume scene with a splash, she wants to shed some of that tomboy essence, a defining feature at the beginning of her music career. Being everything and nothing at the same time allows Eilish to transcend identity while still being able to play in all the arenas.

Billie Eilish not only has a new fragrance out. She’s advocating for less body shaming and feeling more comfortable in her own skin. “I like myself more than I used to, and I’m more interested in how I feel than how they feel,” the singer admitted. “But then also that might be a load of bullsh*t because it still hurts my feelings like a [sonofab*tch].” She last played in concert in December of last year. Her most recent venture is acting; she played a cult leader character in Amazon Prime’s Swarm, which came out in March.

As for Rihanna, she receives this Billie Eilish praise in the midst of her second pregnancy. After dominating the Apple Music Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show, she has since gone to multiple fashion shows and musical events, including being name-dropped as A$AP Rocky’s “beautiful wife” at a Spotify Beach Concert in Paris. Safe to say, Rihanna’s basking in the spotlight without having to do too much at the moment. Both women are crushing it in their respective fields, and even beyond.

Billie Eilish Dubbed Rihanna ‘The Hottest Person To Ever Exist In The History Of The World’

Billie Eilish is a definitive icon for Gen-Z, but she doesn’t view herself that way. Endearingly, Eilish doesn’t suppress her formative fandoms and never hesitates to hype up her peers. Megan Thee Stallion received some of Eilish’s love this spring, and Rihanna is the subject of her latest declaration. (It’s a good day to be Rihanna — isn’t every day? — as Latto also shouted out RiRi.)

Vogue profiled Eilish around the recent release of her fragrance, Eilish No. 2. The one-time Oscar and seven-time Grammy winner reflected on her evolving style.

“I spent most of my life being very masculine and boyish, and I kind of recently, in the last couple of years, was kind of like, ‘You know what, I’m allowed to be whatever I want to be when I want to be it,’” she told the publication. “I don’t need to always prove to everyone that I’m a tomboy. Like, that is what I am, but I also am this kind of girl. I’m also feminine, and I’m also sexy, and I’m also cute, and I’m also just like, none of the above, and I’m just me.”

Eilish has to deal with what most 21-year-olds don’t: the treacherous illusion that strangers have toward her body, as if they should have a say about her relationship with her own body at all. Writer Calin Van Paris noted that Eilish combats the body shaming and constant public attention with things she likes, such as baths, family, friends, big dogs, phone games, and Rihanna.

“I think that I decided the other day that I think she’s the hottest person to ever exist in the history of the world,” Eilish said of Rihanna.

More vulnerably, Eilish noted, “It’s tough, man. Honestly, nobody can say anything about my body that I don’t have a stronger opinion about […] I also think that if I was younger, like if the internet talked about me the way they do now when I was like 11, I don’t think I would be able to exist, to be honest. … I like myself more than I used to, and I’m more interested in how I feel than how they feel. But then also that might be a load of bullsh*t because it still hurts my feelings like a sonab*tch.”

Latto, Like The Rest Of Us, Wants To Live Like Rihanna And Doesn’t ‘See Myself Doing Music Forever’

Latto is the cover star for the Cosmopolitan “Skin Issue,” but she only agreed to pose nude after confirming it would be “tastefully done.” She was just as thoughtful in her answers for the accompanying interview, including her goals beyond her chart-smashing music career.

“I want to get in my acting bag, because I see myself going out like Rihanna,” Latto told writer Julee Wilson. “I don’t see myself doing music forever. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I’ve been doing it for so long already. Sometimes you just want more. I just did my first little acting gig the other day and I fell in love with that. I like more serious roles.”

Cosmo noted that Latto will be a guest star at some point during the upcoming sixth and final season of Grown-ish, premiering next Wednesday, June 28, on Freeform.

Earlier in the interview, Latto explained why she keeps her boyfriend’s identity private and was asked if she wants children someday, which led to another Rihanna reference.

“I want to be a mom so bad. Let me tell you, I think moms are superheroes. Man, I literally idolize motherhood. Like, with Mother’s Day, I get all my friends that have kids, my grandmas, my aunties, cousins, anyone who’s a mom around me, I send them flowers and gifts. I don’t play,” she said. “I send my assistant to Chanel to get, like, 10 bags for everybody I know. I’m obsessed. My TikTok algorithm is all moms talking about their experiences and packing like, ‘Get ready with me.’ Moms cleaning up after their kids. It’s so weird.”

Latto continued, “I’m not going to feel like I made it for real until I have my kids, I’m married, I just got my house out in the country, and I’m just ducked off with my little family.”

After Wilson quipped that “Rihanna’s got everybody out here having baby fever,” Latto added, “Yes. That’s why I love RiRi down. Cardi did it too. And Yung Miami. I feel like they kind of supersede the stigma that it’s over for women when you have a baby — like your career is over. They give me inspiration for real. They make me feel like I can do it too one day when the time is right, you feel me?”

Rihanna welcomed her first child, a son, with ASAP Rocky in May 2022. The polymath power couple are expecting their second child, as Rihanna revealed she was pregnant during her Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show performance in February.

Rihanna & ASAP Rocky Coordinate In All-Blue Denim Outfits For Pharrell’s Paris Fashion Show

It feels like just yesterday when Rihanna broke the news of her second pregnancy to the world, but really it’s already been over four months since her legendary Super Bowl Halftime show. As expected, she followed in her own footsteps for round two, putting her baby bump on display in a selection of incredible outfits to help redefine maternity style for the modern woman. Some of them have been her take inspiration from boyfriend and baby daddy ASAP Rocky, while others are much more feminine and flirtatious.

For her most recent outing, Rihanna returned to Paris with the Testing rapper to celebrate their friend Pharrell Williams. The Virginia native made his Louis Vuitton menswear debut today and had plenty of famous faces in attendance to cheer him on. Among them were Jay-Z and Beyonce, Zendaya, and Megan Thee Stallion. While the Carters looked nothing less than regal in their fancy outfits, Rocky and his “Fashion Killa” captured more of a street-style vibe in their all-blue ensembles.

Rihanna and Rocky Return to Paris

For his part, the soon-to-be father of two paired his denim LV jacket with jean shorts and tall white crew socks. His accessories definitely complete the look, consisting of various necklaces, sunglasses, and a comfy beanie on his head. Rihanna donned an oversized jumpsuit with a block pattern displayed across the denim. She kept the front undone, leaving her growing belly on display under a sports bra in the same design as her outfit. Like Rocky, she too wears a hat on her head. The couple is currently being praised (as per usual) online for their boundless creativity.

Elsewhere in the news, ASAP Rocky celebrated his second Father’s Day this past Sunday, and his last with only one child. In his commemorative photo dump, the New Yorker shared several adorable photos and videos of little RZA, as well as a glimpse into his life at home with Rihanna. Bebe Rexha: The Unconventional Pop Star’s Journey

Singer and songwriter Bebe Rexha is currently making headlines after a fan threw a phone at her, hitting her in the face during a concert. Many artists and fans have spoken out in support of the singer who needed stitches after the incident. The artist, born Bleta Rexha, is a chart-topping artist, known for her witty pen and killer vocals. Her career kicked off in 2010, before a significant rise to fame three years later. She is currently signed to Warner Bros. Records and Warner Music Group.

The Grammy-nominated singer rose to fame after receiving songwriting credits on Eminem and Rihanna’s hit single, “The Monster.” Since then, she has released three EPs and three studio albums. Her third album, Bebe, was released on April 28 to rave reviews. After the phone-throwing incident, Bebe Rexha has revealed that she’s just fine and is recovering well. Her career continues to enjoy success, as she’s promoting her album on tour.

Early Beginnings

Bebe Rexha was born in Brooklyn to an Albanian family from North Macedonia. In high school, she joined the choir and focused more on her music. The singer didn’t take long to sign with a talent scout, which would eventually kickstart her ascent in the industry. By 2010, Rexha had begun to garner buzz in the underground music scene.

By 2010, she collaborated with Pete Wentz, a member of the famous rock band Fall Out Boy. Following Fall Out Boy’s indefinite hiatus, she provided vocals for Wentz’s new experimental band, Black Cards. Two years after the formation of the new band, Rexha departed to pursue a solo career.

Bebe Rexha’s Solo Career & Breakthrough

Due to her significant buzz, Rexha secured a deal with Warner Bros. Records in 2013. Furthermore, her skills as a songwriter began to enjoy attention, and she wrote songs for Selena Gomez, Nikki Williams, and Rihanna. The single “The Monster” became a chart-topper in numerous countries, and Rexha’s background vocals can be heard on the track.

However, Bebe Rexha eventually revealed that she had “no choice” but to give the song away. The chorus featured Rihanna’s vocals and was initially meant to be for Rexha herself. She had originally penned a song titled “Monster Under the Bed,” which featured the signature hook. Regardless of the potential it had, Rexha let the song go.

During a Facebook Live chat, she said, “Think about it. I had just turned 20, and I didn’t know any different. I see now that the song opened so many doors for me. At that time, I had no choice but to give that song away. I had no money and no record deal.”

While “The Monster” propelled her career in a positive direction, Bebe Rexha still cemented her name as a pop star afterward. She has written songs for several artists, including Iggy Azalea, Nick Jonas, and Tinashe. Her singles catalog is also stacked with features from many notable Hip Hop stars. Some rappers she has worked alongside include Doja Cat, Nicki Minaj, G-Eazy, Snoop Dogg, and Lil Wayne

Personal Life

Bebe Rexha is a largely private celebrity but often lets her fans into her world now and then. She has cited Lauryn Hill as her major musical inspiration. Although primarily a pop artist, Rexha has also become known for her versatility. Her work spans various genres, from R&B, to country, rock, and dance.

In April, the singer revealed that she has polycystic ovary syndrome, also known as PCOS. She is also a champion of body positivity and is known to call out designers who refuse to dress her because she is a size 8. She considers herself fluid sexually and revealed in 2019 that she has bipolar disorder.

The unfortunate phone-throwing incident may have put Bebe Rexha’s name on many more lips, but the artist’s work always speaks for itself. The alleged assailant, Nicolas Malvagna, has now been charged with two counts of assault in the third degree, one count of harassment in the second degree, one count of aggravated harassment in the second degree, and one count of attempted assault in the third degree.

Rihanna Lovingly Wished ASAP Rocky A Happy Father’s Day With A Comment On His Adorable Post

Yesterday (June 18) was Father’s Day. Naturally, Nick Cannon is the musician that most prominently comes to mind on that occasion. ASAP Rocky, though, is one of music’s biggest power couples alongside Rihanna, so he has plenty to celebrate, too.

He did so with an Instagram post featuring a handful of photos and videos. The gallery starts with a video of Rocky brushing his teeth, followed by a video of him and RZA (his son, not the Wu-Tang Clan rapper) napping in bed and a photo of RZA flashing a big, happy smile. Next is a video of Rocky and Rihanna hanging out in the bathroom, as Rocky prompts RiRi to show off her pregnant belly as she insists, “This is so sad.” She then jokingly moves her belly around before Rocky pats his own stomach and insists he and his wife match, which gets a laugh from Rihanna.

The post ends with a photo of Rocky kissing Rihanna’s pregnant belly, a video of RZA, and Rihanna and RZA laying in bed. It’s a cute look into the couple’s family life and Rihanna seemed to enjoy it, as she commented on the post, “The Mayers boys stole my whole heart! Happy Father’s Day nerd.”

RZA may not be old enough to enjoy Rihanna’s music yet, but he’ll probably be happy with her upcoming role in a Smurfs movie.
