The tour proved to be one of the year’s most critically acclaimed tours, and the Beyhive is dying to relive the show. Additionally, fans who weren’t able to make the sure during the first go-around are also looking forward to witnessing several iconic moments on-screen.

And with all things Beyoncé, fans know they are going to want to get their coins ready, as a major Beyoncé release doesn’t come without goodies.

Is there merch for Beyoncé’s Renaissance movie?

Like the Renaissance World Tour and the album itself, Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé will be accompanied by special merchandise. At AMC Theatres, fans will be able to purchase a large collectible fountain drink cup for $12.99 and a popcorn container for $22.99. Additionally, fans can also try the Alien Superstar cocktail at AMC’s MacGuffin’s Bar. Beyoncé Balances Motherhood And Superstardom In Her ‘Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé’ Worldwide Trailer

Beyoncé is always one step ahead. International tickets for her Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé theatrical release are set to go on sale today, November 9, and she commenced the sale by releasing a brand-new worldwide trailer.

In the 98-second clip, the all-time-winningest artist at the Grammys describes how she stays winning, narrating “Welcome To The Renaissance” from her Renaissance World Tour, “I close my eyes and travel through realms of space and time. Reality holds no power or control of my state of mind on my voyage to find a source to charge my inner being. Assembly line frequency as I tap my MPC.”

Then, Beyoncé speaks more directly about the challenges she’s faced, saying, “In this world that is very male-dominated, I’ve had to be really tough. To balance motherhood and being on this stage, it just reminds me of who I really am.”

Presented by Parkwood Entertainment and AMC Entertainment, Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé is due in theaters on December 1. On October 26, The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reported that Beyoncé will hold the world premiere in London on November 30 and the US premiere on November 25 in Los Angeles.

Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé accentuates the journey of Renaissance World Tour, from its inception, to the opening in Stockholm, Sweden, to the finale in Kansas City, Missouri,” reads the trailer’s official description. “It is about Beyoncé’s intention, hard work, involvement in every aspect of the production, her creative mind and purpose to create her legacy, and master her craft. Received with extraordinary acclaim, Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour created a sanctuary for freedom, and shared joy, for more than 2.7 million fans.”

Here’s Where Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ Movie Will Be Premiered

Beyoncé is bringing her Renaissance Tour film to theaters this December, with an exclusive concert movie deal with AMC. Before it does, the pop star will be holding two special premieres for it.

The US premiere of Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé will take place in Los Angeles on November 25. Then, the European premiere will be held in London on November 30. Of course, locations for both have not been revealed.

Earlier this month, Taylor Swift held the premiere of her The Eras Tour concert film at AMC at The Grove in Los Angeles, where she selected fans and press to attend. Given both stars have massive deals and films connected to the theater chain and have just been longtime friends, Beyoncé made a surprise appearance to support.

Because of this, it’s possible hers would be held at the same spot.

From there, her movie will be available to watch for fans starting on December 1. As it is an international release, tickets for locations including Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, South America, and the Caribbean, will go on sale starting November 9. Tickets for North America are currently available. More information can be found here.

Will Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ Movie Be Available Globally?

Beyoncé attended Taylor Swift’s Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie premiere in Los Angeles on October 11. Sure, she was there to support Swift, but she might have also been there to scope out The Grove as a potential site for her Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé premiere.

This morning (October 26), The Hollywood Reporter exclusively shared that Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé will enjoy a US premiere in Los Angeles on November 25 and a world premiere in London on November 30.

“The events will take place days before Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment and AMC Entertainment debut the film in theaters on December 1,” THR relayed. “Tickets for international territories — including Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, South America and the Caribbean — will go on sale November 9 at BeyonceFilm.com.

The December 1 theatrical release is limited to North America, but as evidenced by the aforementioned report, global dates will follow. Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour began in Stockholm, Sweden on May 10 and wrapped in Kansas City, Missouri on October 1.

She announced her Renaissance concert film on October 2 with a two-minute trailer. The video starts with Beyoncé stretching backstage with her daughter-turned-backup-dancer, Blue Ivy, and spending time with her twins, Rumi and Sir. She says, “When I am performing, I am nothing but free. The goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free, and no one is judged.”

Beyoncé Fans Shared Their Predictions For The Opening Scene In Her Upcoming ‘Renaissance’ Concert Film

Beyoncé recently announced that she will be releasing a concert film of her recent tour, titled Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé, later this year. While it won’t arrive in theaters until December 1, the fans already have some theories about its format.

Specifically, the Beyhive has sparked an internet discussion over what the opening scene will be. This started after Parkwood, the star’s company, asked for early predictions on Twitter.

Some took the time to share serious thoughts about what they would hope to see. “Yes it starts off with Bey expressing her gratitude being back on the stage and how much she misses the BeyHive then it fades black with the opening credits and in the background, ‘Ladies and gentlemen… Beyoncé,’” one user wrote.

“Some clips from her childhood expanding into her life now as a mother to her kids & to the entire world,” another added. “Her after the last day of filming, then rewinds back to how the concept of the album/tour started.”

Meanwhile, others had jokes about waiting for the album’s visuals. “It will flash ‘YOU ARE THE VISUALS,’” someone else chimed in on Parkwood’s post.

Can Beyoncé & Taylor Swift’s Concert Films Be Nominated At The Oscars?

Beyoncé and Taylor Swift are bringing both of their fans to theaters this year as the two stars gear up to release concert films tied to their massive respective tours. (Bey for the Renaissance Tour; Swift for The Eras Tour.) Given both artists have also been nominated for their past work at the Oscars, fans might be wondering if their films will be considered for nominations. Here’s what to know.

Can Beyoncé and Taylor Swift’s concert films be nominated at the Oscars?

Unfortunately, neither film will be eligible under the current Oscars guidelines to be nominated as a documentary feature, according to Variety. The rules state that this is because: “Works that are essentially promotional or instructional are not eligible, nor are works that are essentially unfiltered records of performances.”

The publication also noted that Beyoncé and Swift missed the October 2 deadline that would have been required for consideration.

While they might not be getting a nod at the Oscars, fans could still see their faves getting acknowledgment at the Grammys in 2025 — when it comes to the Best Music Film category. It is still quite a long time away based on the current eligibility period.

Swift’s Eras Tour movie opens on October 13, later this week. Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour concert film will follow, airing in theaters on December 1.

Will Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ Film Have New Music Videos?

Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour isn’t over yet. This week, the international superstar announced the impending release of a concert film based on footage of her tour coming to AMC Theaters on December 1. However, in addition to allowing fans to relive the experience of the tour (or experience it for the first time, for those who missed out on tickets to see it live), Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé will also finally fulfill one of fans’ greatest wishes since the Renaissance LP made the “world stop.”

Will Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ Film Have New Music Videos?

The answer is a resounding “yaaaas, b*tch!” According to Variety, the film will incorporate highlights from the tour as well as the highly-anticipated videos that Beyoncé has been teasing fans with for over a year. It’ll also feature behind-the-scenes footage of the recording of the album and the conception stage of the tour.

When Renaissance dropped in July of 2022, fans were eager for more of the iconic music videos that have helped make Beyoncé a fixture of pop culture. However, not even three months went by before they grew restless with the relative radio silence. Rather than give an update, though, Beyoncé decided to instead troll her loyal followers through the official Parkwood Twitter account, posting a meme that suggested they might end up getting Suga Mama old by the time she “released the visuals,” as they kept demanding.

When the tour started, she continued to tease them with a video during the presentation, as the concert narrator admonished, “You’ve asked for the visuals. You’ve called for the queen. But a queen moves at her own pace.” Now, it seems we know exactly what she was waiting for: An opportunity to once again shake up the world (and probably get a do-over on the Lion King: The Gift movie Black Is King, whose probable theater release was derailed by COVID-19). Good things come to those who wait.

Where Will ‘Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé’ Be Shown?

Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour is being turned into a concert film that will play in theaters later this year. For those who are interested in attending, whether you made it to the real-life shows or not, fans might be wondering where exactly they can see it.

Here’s what to know.

Currently, the movie will open on December 1 in North America. Additional global cities will be announced at a later date, according to Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment company, which produced the film. Tickets for the US showings are $22 plus tax through AMC Theaters, as Beyoncé opted for a direct deal with the chain.

Fans attending a screening at AMC also have the option to see an early preview on November 30 starting at 7 p.m. — with select theaters playing it in IMAX and Dolby.

Finally, other movie theater chains like Regal and Cinemark will be screening the Renaissance movie. According to the press release, fans will be able to see the journey of the tour, between kicking off in Stockholm and ending in Kansas City.
