NLE Choppa Insists He’s Single, Ex-GF Says Otherwise

NLE Choppa’s ex-girlfriend says he isn’t single, but the rapper says that isn’t true. On Thursday, the Memphis rapper made an appearance on The Morning Hustle, a radio show based in Atlanta, and talked about the ongoing issues with his ex-partner Marissa DeNae. He acknowledged her statement that she is pregnant with their child and that he had paid for her IVF treatments, but he maintained that he was still unmarried. NLE Choppa just released his new album, so this interview was part of a promotional press tour. However, given the public state of his former relationship, it makes sense that he can’t escape questions about it.

NLE Choppa hails from Memphis, Tennessee. In recent years, he has garnered significant attention in the music industry due to his breakout hit “Shotta Flow” in 2019. Since then, NLE Choppa has been diligently building his career, earning a dedicated fan base and a strong presence on social media. NLE Choppa has also made strategic collaborations with established artists, showcasing his versatility and potential for long-term success. NLE Choppa’s ex-girlfriend had a lot to say about the rapper in an Instagram story she posted earlier this week. In her posts, she shamed Choppa for “not being there.” However, as the rapper maintains that he is actually single, it appears that his ex may have been saying it for attention. “I Really been trying to hold it down and keep it together,” she wrote. “But I’m honestly just fed tf up. You constantly trying to holla at folks, take folks on dates and etc but you have failed to show up for your child!” She went on to talk about how the rapper paid for IVF but it’s there for appointments.

However, in his interview, Choppa made is expressly clear that he felt he had zero obligation to the woman. “I’m not in a relationship,” the rapper said. “Some people delusional. I am a free man. I am God’s creation. Don’t nobody own me. I ain’t got no cell block number.” Choppa also responded to his ex’s statement about paying for IVF, saying that it was really his way of apologizing for the couple’s previous miscarriage. “[Yeah, I paid for] IVF. I think she worded it wrong,” he said. “I went through IVF because we previously had a miscarriage and that was pretty much my way of another chance at it in a sense.” What do you think? DeuxMoi reported recently that the mother of two was expected to potentially debut her new man at Coachella. For the past few weeks, Jenner’s name has been linked to Beautiful Boy actor Timothée Chalamet. She’s allegedly been spending time with him for the past few months. The rumours sounded too bizarre for many to believe at first. However, photo evidence of their taco truck linkup has since been making rounds online. Apart from the telling images, Entertainment Tonight also shared on Monday (April 17) that their source can confirm Kylie Jenner and the 27-year-old are dating, but “keeping things casual at this point.”

The insider went on to note, “It’s not serious, but [she’s] enjoying hanging out with Timothée and seeing where it goes.” They also mentioned that the reality star is specifically enjoying how different things with Chalamet feel compared to her past relationships. “It’s new and exciting for Kylie and she’s having a lot of fun.” As for why they didn’t go public, the model apparently “just wanted to chill and have fun with her friends.” For any wondering how the new lovers linked up, it reportedly had something to do with older sister Kendall Jenner, who’s friends with the Dune star. During a recent interview with Complex, Joey Bada$$ responded to rumors that he and singer and actress Serayah were dating. Moreover, the Wu-Tang: An American Saga costars sparked dating claims when they were boo’d up for an Instagram post. Not only that, but said picture seemed to promote Joey’s upcoming music video for his track “Show Me,” in which they starred as a couple. From what he told the publication, however, it was all part of the plan.

“We’re not [together],” the 1999 MC revealed. “Well, honestly, it wasn’t anything that wasn’t anticipated at first, but when we got back all the assets, like the photos, you know, I started to kind of like, ‘Oh, there’s something that could be done with these. By November, they decided to officially call things off after years of on-again-off-again antics. Joey Bada$$ and Serayah just possibly announced a relationship with a new picture Joey posted to Instagram. Moreover, this caught many fans in the comments by surprise, as she was dating actor and artist Jacob Latimore. While some simply lamented their breakup, others had some more interesting theories as to what the post could mean. Furthermore, Serayah starred in various popular TV series, including Empire, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, and most notably Black Mafia Family. As such, some people wondered whether this was the result of another media project of if they’re really serious about their fling.
