Real Boston Richey Drops Banger “Keep On Gettin It”

Real Boston Richey is back with his eighth single of 2023 and his third since the release of his sophomore album Public Housing, Pt. 2. That is indeed a sequel to his debut Public Housing, put out in 2022. “Keep on Gettin It” is like a lot of his music, it is a trap banger, with heavy 808s and loud kickdrums, laced with lyrics about drugs, violence, and sex. However, talking about sex is something that is a bit of an NSFW topic that Richey should be avoiding from now on.

A few months ago the Tallahassee, Florida-born rapper put himself in a terrible situation on social media. On his XXL Freshman Cypher, Richey rapped about wanting to have intimate moments with his cousin. He rapped, “Always been a freaky jit, trying to f*** my cousin under the covers.” It is something that he will have to live with from now on.

Who Is Real Boston Richey?

However, even with a terrible moment like that, his rise to fame as a rapper will most likely not hinder his progress. Especially when you have the co-sign of Atlanta legend and trap icon Future behind you. Additionally, the release of his debut mixtape Public Housing in August 2022 showed his ability to work with the best. Features from Moneybagg Yo, Future, and Lil Durk, proves he is here to stay.

What are your thoughts on this new track, “Keep on Gettin It,” by Real Boston Richey? What is your favorite song by him? Does he deserve more respect as a trap artist compared to the rest? Quotable Lyrics:

Can’t let him hold the strap, it went down, he done froze with it
Every time I make another hundred, I get more b*****s
I f*** that b**** up off that Henny, got control in it
“Why your car so tinted out?” ‘Cause I got ‘bows in it
You know I f*** with Herbo and them ’cause I got no limits

Young Scooter Thinks Live Nation Should Take All The Snitches On Tour Together

Young Scooter feels as though there’s a market for snitches in hip-hop. As a matter of fact, he feels as though Live Nation should round up all of the rats and put them on tour together.

Young Scooter shared the suggestion on Instagram this weekend. “MOST YALL RAPPERS SHOULD GET WIT LIVE NATION AND DO A [rat emojis] TOUR,” he wrote.

A handful of people chimed in, including Symba, who suggested that it would make for a great tour. “Ain’t gon lie, that tour would be [fire],” Symba wrote under Akademiks’ post.

Though it’s unclear who he’s talking to, his comments come at an interesting time. 6ix9ine undoubtedly kicked off this dialogue but Gunna’s recent release found many members of YSL denouncing him publicly.

Moreover, budding rapper Real Boston Richey became the center of these conversations recently. A video of Richey in an interrogation room went viral, leading to a back-and-forth between the Freebandz rapper and 1090 Jake.

“So as I’m getting interviewed, this like my second time being interviewed so now I’m just like on some shit like, ‘Y’all trippin’ me and bro had a situation but that shit I know for a fact this man ain’t kill my cousin.’ I don’t know who killed this man,’ we giving him the whole run around. That shit was a goose chase like me and my whole interview bruh.”

Shortly after, rumors surfaced that Future kicked him off the One Big Party tour due to the interrogation video. He later addressed the rumors, denying he was kicked off. Instead, he revealed he was working on new music.

Real Boston Richey Reminds Us It’s “On Site” In His Latest Single

It’s rare to find an artist who’s willing to give their fans new music this close to Christmas. However, Real Boston Richey was hustling well into the holidays this year. His “On Site” single landed on Friday (December 23) for your streaming pleasure.

Previously in 2022, we’ve heard the Florida native flex on “2 Million Up” with Peezy, Jeezy, and Rob49. Prior to that, he delivered his Public Housing project in August. The album is complete with features from the likes of Future, Moneybagg Yo, Kodak Black, and Lil Durk.

Hendrix appears on two titles – “Bullseye 2” and “I Want You,” while Yak is joined by Lil Crix on “Navy Seals.” Afterward, Durkio shines during his verse on “Keep Dissing 2,” which has been streamed over 10 million times on Spotify alone.

“On Site” finds Richey operating solo – something he’s no stranger to. “I been out here screaming, “F*ck you, pay me” / I been moving right, ain’t moving shady,” he rhymes on the fast-paced song.

Following the track’s arrival earlier this weekend, the rapper took to Instagram to promote his work. “New song just dropped,” he wrote. “‘On Site’ video drop later today, deluxe OTW.”

Though the accompanying visual has yet to land on YouTube, if RBR stays true to his word, we could be hearing the expanded cut of Public Housing sometime in the new year.

Stream Real Boston Richey’s “On Site” single on Spotify or Apple Music below. Additionally, make sure to check back later for our annual Christmas playlist to cover all your holiday listening needs.

Quotable Lyrics:

I been out here screaming, “F*ck you, pay me”
I been moving right, ain’t moving shady
If it ain’t you, I use a rubber, I play it safe
If it ain’t you, I use a rubber, I play it safely
