Boosie Badazz Emotionally Begs For Daughter’s Forgiveness Over Hurtful Statements

Overall, Boosie Badazz has not been an ally to the LGBTQ+ community, to say the least. While he claims to not have anything against them, his words do speak volumes. They certainly did with the daughter of Boosie Badazz, Poison Ivi. She was deeply hurt over her dad’s destructive comments that he spewed on a live edition of Yung Miami’s Caresha Please podcast. Essentially, he doesn’t want her openly lesbian daughter to “contaminate” his other six girls and wants all of them to “bring me grandchildren the right way”. This prompted an emotional and angered response from Poison Ivi, saying, “Emotionally, mentally, you suck… And I know you suck with that cause you’d rather go to the Internet and have a conversation with the Internet about your kids before you come to us”.

Now, according to AllHipHop, Boosie Badazz is looking for her to forgive him for what he said. He posted a collage of photos of the two of them together and coupled it with an emotional plea. “I SAID SOME THINGS N I DIDNT KNOW ITLL HURT U. YO DADDY TRULY SORRY N I HOPE U CAN FORGIVE ME”, he began. “LIVE N YO TRUTH N JUST KNOW THAT U ALWAYS MY BABY NO MATTER WHAT… ACCEPT MY PUBLIC APOLOGY. “DADDY COULDVE SAID IT N A BETTER WAY… U MY BABY N WILL ALWAYS BE DAT #daddybaby HOPE WE CAN TALK”.

SHE JUST LIKE HER DADDY EVERYTHING GON GET HANDLED”. Poison has yet to respond and who knows how long it will take, and that’s if she decides to.

Lizzo Changes Offensive “GRRRLS” Lyric, Issues Apology

Lizzo comments

Lizzo faced backlash for her new song “GRRRLS.” Immediately upon releasing the song last week, disability advocates urged her via social media that she was using an “ableist slur.”

The “Tempo” singer is being accused of using an offensive term for someone with cerebral palsy. In the original version, the 31-year-old chants “Hold my bag bi**h. Hold my bag. Do you see this sh*t? I’ma spazz.”

According to The Cambridge Dictionary, “spaz” is “an offensive way of saying ‘a stupid person.’”

Also adding the word is “(short for ‘spastic’) an offensive way of referring to someone who has cerebral palsy (a condition of the body that makes it difficult to control the muscles).”

Lizzo addressed the misstep and issued an apology on Twitter announcing the release of a new version of “GRRRLS” with a lyric change.

“It’s been brought to my attention that there is a harmful word in my new song ‘GRRRLS’. Let me make one thing clear: I never want to promote derogatory language,” Lizzo penned. “As an influential artist I’m dedicated to being part of the change I’ve been waiting to see in the world. Xoxo, Lizzo.”

“GRRRLS” is the Houston natives second pre-release single ahead of her upcoming album Special.  That project is due out July 15.  Lizzo also kicks off a North American tour starting in September.

The lyrics have been updated, “Hold my bag, bi**h, hold my bag. Do you see this sh*t? Hold me back.”

Benzino Issues Apology to Coi Leray After Blasting Nicki Minaj Collab

benzino coi

Benzino issued a public apology to Coi Leray after blasting potential Nicki Minaj collab.

24-year-old Coi Leray gained her prominence in the music industry after the release of her viral single, “No More Parties” in 2021, and later adding Chicago’s very own, Lil Durk, onto the single and releasing the music video. The song reached over 76 million views on Youtube, making people want to know more about the trendy superstar.

Since then, Coi has continued to release music with hits such as TWINNEM, At the Top, BIG PURR featuring Pooh Shiesty and more. While Coi Leray is on a consistent run in her music career, the New Jersey native is gearing up to release her highly anticipated debut album.

While the album is still in the works, fans are trying to figure out which artist will be making a guest appearance on the new album. Following a series of events yesterday, fans may now have an idea after Benzino, father of Coi, may have spilled the beans.

“She got the song with Nicki Minaj that’s gonna be coming out that’s gonna be crazy,” Benzino stated in a room on clubhouse. When the media got wind of the collab so many were excited for the singer before Nicki Minaj addressed the rumor stating that she doesn’t have an upcoming collab with anyone. “I don’t have a collab coming with anyone. Onika mode. Love you,” Nicki penned on her Instagram story.

Clearly frustrated with her dad’s actions, Coi Leray took to social media to address his claims, stating that she advises that her father takes the backseat in her career and let her steer the wheel.  “When people was yappin’ they mouth on the Clubhouse he felt like he had to defend himself but I had to tell my dad, he’s an OG and he was super-super big back in the day and everybody knows my dad’s an OG. He gotta play the back, gracefully,” she began. “It’s my turn now. It’s my turn, daddy. I’ma need you to sit the f**k down, grab some popcorn, enjoy the show, and clap for me when it’s time to clap for me. Alright, daddy?”

Although the singer is airing out her frustration, it’s a good thing to see the two on good terms following their online feud at the start of the singer’s career. “He’s going to go hard for me every single time. He not going to let nobody talk crazy about me or nothing,” she added.  “I guess it was a situation where people was yapping their mouth on the Clubhouse and he felt like he had to defend himself.”

Could Nicki Minaj and Coi Leray really have a collab on the way?
